Sharon JThey issued a truck with no heater and no defroster to go out into a winter snow storm. Of course, you don't notice the problem at first as it is only a short distance from pickup point to load out point. However, once the truck is loaded and you get out on the road, the problem becomes painfully aware. So now what do you do? Return to U-Haul to unload the truck and reload into a different truck---you are already under time constraints with your move and the weather is getting worse. I recommend you avoid this shop and try a different company that maintains their equipment better and cares about the safety and comfort of their customers,

Anthony II know my one comment won't change anything, but that trailer is wildly heavy. It took almost a full tank of fuel to go 150 miles 😳 unfortunately I need the trailer, but it's definitely motivated me to just buy the thing I need a few times a year.
Donny GWish there was a way to warm up the vehicles in advance of a scheduled rental pick up. The last two times I have rented, I have had to wait to warm up the vehicle to defrost ice and snow just to leave the parking lot.
Rob RThe one thing I would say is that the outside trailer some of our stuff was in had condensation that then froze. When we opened it there was ice on everything. The inside unit was perfect. I would definitely use inside storage again.

Terrance WI was told the gas was full upon departure and that I needed to bring the van back full. I drove 17 miles; stopped pumping gas at 5 gallons which I know I couldnt have used. the man at return did refund me $10

Donny GHave trucks that aren't deafening when on the highway. Couldn't listen to the radio as the truck noise overwhelmed everything. Also the check engine light came on when arriving at the destination.

Joe MI've rented three trucks in the last month and every time it's been easy. The person behind the counter has been great all three times I've had different people, but all have been nice and courtesy. They take the time and explain things, 5-Star!!

Lori WThe driver brought 2 of the 3 boxes I reserved and said she would be back on Tuesday to pick them up and bring the 3rd box. She then gave her contact info to someone that was helping me - not me the person that rented them. I didn't need the 3rd box, so called the office to let them know - however; I was still expecting her to pick up the 2 boxes on Tuesday. She didn't! She didn't communicate with me at all and I had no way to communicate with her since she didn't give ME her contact info. The person helping me finally reached her and she said she would be there that night (Tuesday). However; at 10 PM that night she sent a message to him stating it would be Wednesday morning by 10. She seemed very disorganized.... I DID get my stuff delivered and it was in good shape, nothing broken and on time. For that I am thankful. All in all, I WOULD recommend doing this. It makes moving much easier, however make sure you give yourself an extra day and get contact info for everyone involved.
Kelli SAfter I was told to refuel it back to where the gauge was when I got, which I did AND provided the receipt for the gasoline. I was charged an additional $113 for 21 gallons of gas that I did NOT use. I drove 9 miles total when I had returned it!!!!

Dillon HIt would be nice to have more staff, however for profitability your model is fine. I don’t remember reading anything about arriving 30 minutes early to pick up the equipment, but it would have been easier to plan with an expected wait time at pick up and drop off locations. Otherwise the staff at both locations was very helpful and accommodating. I hope they are compensated well, because good help really is getting harder and harder to find!
Zane BThe web based reservation process was not smooth. I was disconnected multiple times and there were additional pages that weren’t expected even though I was a repeat customer. As I tried to work through the problems with the system, three other people came into the office and picked up their vehicle. It took 45 minutes standing in the office. In the end it still didn’t work and I received a phone call to re-enter my charging information. Not good.
