Rented a trailer. While doing the paperwork the employee, who later turned out to be the center manager, was on Facebook. Ok he’s young. Trailer pulled to the left during towing, trailer wires where hanging and not secure and AFTER I hooked up, the manager said trailer had a bad tire “how far ya going?” He asked. Said in town, “oh, that tire should be good for about 40 miles or so”. Trailer had rivers missing and tore my jeans and was so beat up rear gate wouldn’t close. Fellow who checked me in tonight was hiding behind a truck with a girl far younger then him and took about 10 minutes to appear. During which I was out of my truck looking for someone. Said he was all alone then proceeded to try and blame me for the faulty wiring. I told him what was wrong and he still wanted me to move it over to the rental spaces so he wouldn’t have to mess with it. I declined I didn’t want to be pulling that around a gravel lot. When he went to unhook me he failed to release the ball all the way and proceeded to jump up and down on my bumper to drop the trailer. So much for my stabil-a-trac. Hopefully, the check light will go off if not I will have to have it serviced. Wow! Way to go UHaul. Next time I will go to the heights or a satellite location until these guys are no longer there , shouldn’t take much I am guessing.

I rent trucks from Uhaul an average of once a month, and have done so for nearly 4yrs. I've never really had a problem with Uhaul until last Saturday (Sept 22) when they overcharged me $350 for a truck rental and couldn't fully refund my money until Thursday (Sept 27). It was Uhauls error, not mine....and the money should've never been withdrawn in the first place. I was promised a $50 credit on my next rental, and still havent received it. That happened at the Billings Heights location. I understand errors happen, but 5 days (4 business days) to refund fraudulent charges? Really? Today, I rented from Billings Grand store. I had reserved 12 furniture pads with my order. Not because I dont have my own, but because since my location for using the truck was closer to the Grand store, than to my house.....I tried to pay Uhaul basically a $10 'convenience fee' to use their pads rather than haul my own. When I arrived at the store, I asked for the possibility of another dozen and was informed they had none. Not another dozen NOR the dozen I had reserved. Why didnt I at least get a phone call prior to picking up the truck? How am i suppose to protect furniture without pads? Other than that, the staff today was great. No problems with anyone, and all assisted with everything else i needed. David in the heights store, also did all he could at the pace he was allowed in resolving my issues there last weekend and this week as well.

Picked up a 6x12 trailer in billings Montana and told the guy I picked up from that I was traveling to kalispell montana. After dropping it off in kalispell I get an email saying I owe 700$ ? I pre paid for this trailer when I picked it up with insurance

Have vans that can be driven to other states. UHaul could have made a few hundred more from me if they had them. Instead I had to mail my stuff to my home 2 states away. Post office got $350 instead of UHaul.
