I was promised a call Christmas Eve day (approximate 2 + days) as the day after Christmas (26th) was one day before 27th pick up in Bozeman. Disappointed that no 26' was available so I settled on 20' via a 2nd reservation in Billings. The 20' didn't have the engine zip and handling that 26' trucks have.Lance C.

My vehicle's reservation location had changed and I was never notified! I showed up to the original business location to pick up my truck and it wasn't there and the business was closed! I had to call U-Hauls 888 number to find out where my reserved truck was and they hadn't even updated my reservation or notified me. VERY poor customer service on the reservation end, not the pick up locations fault! The guys at the pick up location were fantastic! Very friendly and helpful. Brought the truck around to the entrance and warmed it up for me. Thank you to the guys at 2152 Grand Ave!!Lisa D.

My wife picked up the trailer. We loaded it, and as we were preparing to head out of town I noticed that it was missing a lug nut and one of the tail lights was not working properly. We had to drive all the way across town to have someone replace the lug nut, and the gentleman who helped us said that he didn't have a tail light to replace the one that was not working. All of the people with whom I had exchanges were very pleasant. This includes the woman who set up the rental, the manager with whom I confirmed the rental (the computer was acting up). the gentleman who replaced the lug nut, and the two gentlemen who were there when I dropped it off. In this day and age of poor service, all of your people stood out as exceptions.CHERYL PILATI C.

Renters beware! Some reps here don't know how to appropriately quote you on pricing and when you go to return the rental truck it will be dramatically MORE than you were told, despite returning the truck in perfect condition, fueling completely, and traveling the exact distance you told Uhaul at the time of departure and a timely return. I was quoted under $400 & than expected to pay $1073.55. Customer service to resolve issues is a nightmare and sends you spiraling in circles. Would NEVER do business with the is location again (Grand Ave. in Billings, MT) and am highly considering NEVER using Uhaul again in general as corporate is USELESS when branches fail to do right by their customers. 1. My experience with Uhaul-Ubox makes me want to work for you. Very impressed with the customer service from beginning to end. The communication was excellent with one exception (bullet 3. below). The services and cost were better than expected. The Ubox program is well thought out and the operational process and tools (boxes, covers and bar codes) is very impressive. 2. I said "no" to the recommended containers in above question, that is only because I think the measure of "bedrooms" is tough to quantify, I think a consideration of the person(s) age, how long they have been in the home, kids, hobbies and the last time they moved could get a better result. Maybe add an "advanced" measure. 3. My one issue was when the containers arrived in Billings. I scheduled delivery 5 days in advance. Wasn't until I called on the day before that I was informed they could not delivery due to staffing (completely understandable). However I had already scheduled unloaders and due to the timing if I waited for Uhaul to deliver I could/may have paid for another month of storage. Little clunky at the end and staffing issues are not all of a sudden, they are ongoing, however the local team was very accommodating and flexible on letting me pick up the Ubox myself. It all worked out. 4. Thank you to the Ubox team in Tualatin and Billings.Robert C.

The trailer I rented got a flat tire. I tried contacting roadside support and was on hold for over 20 minutes. I had a narrow window of time to pick up the vehicle that I needed the trailer for. I was able to get a local tire shop to help, no thanks to Uhaul. The entire event made me late and I would not have been able to drop the trailer off before the U-Haul location closed. I took it back the next day, explain the situation and was still charged for two days. They were kind enough to remove the fee I paid the tire shop. But I still feel I should have only been charged for one day.Isaac I.

My rental experience could not have been more pleasant. The vehicle was clean and waiting for me upon arrival in Billings. The young gentleman's name who waited on me during vehicle delivery and again upon vehicle return was "Zack." A very courteous and helpful young man.
