The young lighskin black girl needs to be fired.
Originally she was on her AirPods and talking on the phone while tending to me and making my contract . Super ghetto and unprofessional.
Also I felt like when I asked her questions I felt like I was bothering her and I didn’t want to create any friction between us. Honestly I just wanted my u haul and to leave the premises as soon as possible.
What amazes me is that the manager allowed this unprofessional behavior to be tolerated. He was working the next computer next to where the ghetto Hoodrat was working at .
Originally I needed the U-Haul to be a one way or out of state contract but the young Hoodrat made it for an in town contract. Which is shocking. She replied and said when are you returning the equipment to this location ?. And I replied I’m not coming back here. So she got upset and had to do the whole process again which made her very angry.
Finally when everything was done and I signed the contract I asked the hoodrat if it was a one way contract and she replied yes. Then I came to find out a couple of days later over the phone that it wasn’t a one way contract it was an in town contract. That made me livid. I was on the phone for over an hour trying to correct this with the corporate or customer side of U-Haul
Honestly I’ve had really good experiences with this location before I’ve left good reviews in the past. It just amazes me how two people including the manager on duty can tolerate this behavior. The manager the guy Spanish guy needs to be terminated including with ghetto Hoodrat that took care of me . There were three employees working inside that day. one guy and two females. The older female was very professional but the young lighskin Hoodrat was ghetto.
I just hope corporate see this and takes action because it seems like the employees at this location do what they want to do and there’s no order or urgency it’s at the employees pace and not the customers especially when it’s convenience’s for the customer. .
The ghetto Hoodrat and the guy with the curly hair needs to be investigated and fired immediately.
I’m taking an equipment that I’m renting from U-Haul and that’s something serious . I’m taking a product from one place to another . There’s a lot of responsibility when it comes to renting the equipment and I personally don’t think those two employee know the responsibility of the process.
I just hope corporate reads this and contact personally I want to tell them over the phone wouldn’t mind .

The pick up experience here is usually pretty interesting on the way up. People going back and forth, feels like a dmv experience, slow, bland, mundane. Confused workers being directed different places and leaving another worker alone at the front, causing a discrepancy and disruption in service. Some people just don’t want to work, okay go home, don’t be the worst at your job. Trailer does the job, but a day or two later I was getting errors on the turn signals, then on the final day all day had no lights at all, maybe because the rain. I noticed butt connectors that were not heat shrunk, just exposed. Then the final night and morning after the lights all worked fine. Trailer does the job, just a safety concern with no lights.

When I received the vehicle I was told to take a picture of the dashboard. He said if there was a discrepancy I would have proof of mileage and gas gage. He did not mention to look at receipt before I left the lot. NOW there is a BIG mileage difference and I am waiting for a refund.

Arnold, the U-Haul store manager, was absolutely phenomenal. He was extremely informative and clearly an expert in his field. I came in on a day when the store was short-staffed, but he did not let that affect the level of service at all. Arnold jumped in, wore multiple hats effortlessly, and still maintained a positive, professional, and welcoming attitude the entire time. His customer service went above and beyond, and he made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. U-Haul is lucky to have him!

Clerk in the morning did not tell me I had to have van back by 5 p.m., leaving me to assume it was due only by closing time.
Clerk in the afternoon was busy talking on the phone while helping customers.
I waited in line for 15 minutes before learning I should check in outside. I wanted to change my payment and he told me I could do that outside.
I went outside and waited again. I had arrived to check in before 5 (just by circumstance) but by this time it was 5:30 and they wanted to charge an extra day. The worker (Gerard, and he was great) overrode that charge, but then couldn't change my payment.
Both in the morning and in the afternoon there was only one person at the desk and one person checking in, so the wait was 20 minutes or more.
This is a very convenient location for me, so I'll use it. But I wasn't impressed by the service.

I've had storage with U-Haul on University and the Carol City area and I never had the issue that I had at West Park my unit on 27th when I went in was very clean and well kept I expected when I had my storage on West Park for it to be clean and neat inside as it was when I was on 27th Avenue it was anything but that it looked like my storage had been outside I specifically paid for climate control clean storage and it looked like all of my items were covered and dirt and dust and filled there were reptile eggs and reptile droppings 98% of my items were unusable I had clothes I had items my children had made over the years and I had to throw most of the items away it was a health hazard we had to use hazmat suits chemical gloves and n95 masks to get through that storage not satisfied at all I had storage in West Park for over 10 years and it was a disaster not satisfied at all

The entire team went beyond the call of duty to help and accommodate my needs. Got Uboxes shipped from NYC, boxes came without any issues, i was promptly informed when boxes arrived, I was able to get a storage unit and all. Had a third party moving company come to pick up the UBOX therefore I wasn't able to see the facilities myself. But the process of them picking up and dropping off our ubox was very easy and efficient

The GM was very rude & unprofessional. He yelled at me not to throw a 12 ft artificial Xmas tree in the dumpster. I had explained to him prior it did not fit in my car and I was going to give it away
