I had reserved online a one way van to pick up at this location and drop off at another a couple hours away. The employees at this location did not have great service and kept telling me they don't have anything I can take one way. One call to corporate solved the problem, but I wish I could've avoided the hassle and avoided feeling like I was not going to get help solving this issue. Also, I'd suggest reviewing the Google maps location- it brought me and a service rep to the wrong location when the full address wasn't spelt out exactly (used abbreviations). Took us 30min to find it.

Order/Reservation confirmation # - 23869777 Kelly Recendiz Stockton Maintenance Group Our reservation was a complete disaster. We were onsite for over 4 hours to pick up the van. We had to make reservation after reservation and after the 5th one we finally got the key to the truck. I had a crew of ten workers stopped in their tracks and on my payroll during this whole disaster. This work was for my most important client and I had to work diligently to try to recover from this fiasco. Because of the numerous problems with this rental, I have had to spend a lot of time trying to reassure my client that they can trust me and my team to get the job done and on schedule. I cannot believe that after literally hours on the phone with a supposed manager at your customer service call center, that you actually had the audacity to CHARGE my card! I had an issue during the on line reservation process. The first 3 reps I contacted thru your 1-800 #. Well all 3 would not and actually disconnect from my call just not to have to work. Only in my 4th try did I actually get an employee who wanted not only to perform his work obligations but to make sure I was a satisfied customer ! If u can track your calls and contact the 3 that refused to assist me, FIRE them!!!! Horrible employees!!!!

Called the day prior to confirm reservations. When arriving the next day was told that the unit was rented out and not returned as of yet. The retailer should have had the courtesy to call me in advance prior to driving to this location. I question U-hauls business model to allowing anyone to become a neighborhood dealer. This is a retailer in the middle of a strip mall and has no business renting trucks as he is not able to handle this type of a transaction.

The truck was dirty & smelly I didn't notice this until I got back to start packing the truck due to the long wait I didn't get to check it there. How ever when I noted to the clerk that the lock was broken she told me I had to buy a lock that should've already been replaced on the truck so I went to the supervisor to get the lock replaced. When I started on the highway the truck leaned to one side to right side slowing me down during my moving process what should've took me 2 hours took me 4.5 hours because any speed over 25 mph the truck was shaking badly and pulling to the right. The heat from the gas pedal area was so bad it burned my toe while driving over all horrible experience . This isn't the first time I've used uhaul for my moving process but this is by far the worst I will never use them again.

This was he second location I had to go to and they were great. If you look at the records, I was told to pick up the truck at another location and when I arrived there they told me they didn’t have the truck. I had to drive across town to get the other truck

When I arrived at the uhaul rental location the sales associate was pleasant but had trouble finding my reservation in their daily schedule. I provided my confirmation number and she was able to have a van pulled for me. When the van arrived at the front, you can tell that the previous renter had been smoking in the vehicle, it smelled horrible & there was cigarette ash all throughout the back and front cab. The truck attendant was also pleasant, he apologized that it had not been cleaned yet and offered to get me a new van right away but we were in a time crunch so we declined. The truck rental was for 4 hours but we only needed less than 2 hours however, the location closed before then so we were instructed to drop the key in the slot for after hours drop off. I was reassured that this was at no extra charge. When I saw my final receipt and credit card charge the next morning I had been CHARGED MORE THAN DOUBLE my estimate! I immediately called the location and asked for an explanation and they said the computer automatically charged a second day rental by mistake and it will be refunded immediately. I have been monitoring my credit card for more than a week and the charge has not been reversed. I have continued to try to reach the store location and even uhaul customer service for support and have been left on hold. I have never experienced this in the past renting uhauls to this is very upsetting and feels like I’ve been scammed. I would appreciate if this could finally be resolved.

I preorder a u-haul online form a different location when I got to the location to pick up the truck. They did not have a truck available form me to pick through the mobile app. like I was told to use to check in. When I called the number they told me to call no one picked up, even though the number said 24/7. I was very upset about this because I reserved a 17 footer and when I to the location I rented from all they had was a Van. It took me 7 trips with the van when I could have done it with one trip with the truck I reserved. The state road location was helpful though.

The reservation process could improve tremendously. I was told, over the phone, that my truck would be available for pick-up at noon, yet when I arrived to the location, I was told that no truck had been assigned and that when it was assigned, there was no guarantee that it would be at that specific location. The issue was eventually resolved with various calls back to customer service and the scheduling process. This complication had us considering going with other companies.
