I was not able to have the pickup truck that I had reserved because it had not been returned. I did not really like the cargo van that was substituted but it worked. Was disappointed in this but was not the fault of the company/location.

The overall experience can only be described as being stabbed with a chalkboard while impossible fingers continually scratches it so you hear it on the outside and feel it on the inside. Also it's done very slowly and you're told the entire time all you have to do is ask them to stop and they will but not now when that department is open because the person you are talking to only does exactly what you want and nothing else but your situation has already been fixed you just have to use the app to see it and pay another fee because this location doesn't have that ability you should have been stabbed somewhere else.

For the most part everything was great, however the container I received was pretty beat up and leaked a little water in the back. In addition, the door was bolted shut when I received it in NC and it took me a while to get it open. But all the people I interacted with were great and everything was delivered on time and safely.

Everyone needs to be on the same page. I asked for a dolly at a uhaul store, they said they didn't have any and to let the people who deliver the box know that I wanted one with the box. I called and they said they can't deliver with a box and to go to a different uhaul. I ended up getting one from someplace else. When the box was delivered the last said they could have brought one and never heard nonsense like not able to bring one.

First issue was I couldn’t lock my storage because the hitch was broken. So they placed a large move box in front of it to prevent access to it, even for me!!!! After the hutch was fixed and I put a lock on it they still put the box back in front of the unit preventing access!!!!

used the app to set up my rental, but each time I checked the reservation, I was redirected to a different pickup location—each one progressively farther from my home. This would have resulted in at least $40 in additional mileage costs just to retrieve the truck, even though I only needed it to move items five miles from my house. The situation felt misleading, almost like a bait-and-switch tactic, which is disappointing.
As a business owner myself, I know the importance of maintaining customer trust, and I wouldn’t want anyone to feel this way about my company.
I only needed the truck for a few hours and even returned it early. Unfortunately, neither the website nor the app provided any useful support, and when I reached out, no one seemed willing to take responsibility for how this situation unfolded

The truck's gas tank was only half full when I picked it up and I returned it half full but was charged for gas. Would be nice to have a way to rotate gas tank level at pick up so im not charged for gas I didnt use from previous customer.

Instead of sending me an email to which I could have responded, they texted me. I disconnected that number & provider since it was tied to so much back home. I wanted to pay off the balance but they said it was to late and the unit was sold for $5. This was belongs from my parents house with them passing away..photos, funeral stuff, and even my baby book!! Think the office handled this like garbage!! Two bad tires on a two wheeled trailer. Then, when the tow truck from roadside assistance towed the trailer to the nearest uhaul facility, that retailer charged me $186 (less monies already paid). Then… that retailer gave me the wrong trailer back. Never mind them charging me for 2 day rental when I returned the trailer the next day.
Of all the times I’ve rented uhaul trailers, this was the worst experience ever.

The place was clean. But there were multiple times where I could not use the key pad to sign in bc the screen was not legible. The staff was not very helpful. Only person who was, was the manager I met one day to help me with my door allowing me to lock it with out fully shut but would not open when tested. The employees I interacted with a lot made me feel like I was a bother when I would ask questions about my unit. U-Haul online was easy to use and when the keypad worked it was easy. Never had issues with the portals.

The whole concept is very good. Everything is seamless and easy to use, from the storage to the garage where you can back in and load and unload shielded from the weather, to the elevators, the well proportioned hallways and the logical layout of the floors. There is plenty of carts available for transporting your stuff between your vehicle and your storage unit. They have the usual Uhaul rentals on site, which you'd expect but you soon realize how convenient that is. My first need was a large storage unit and a trailer. I needed for a whole month, moving things in and out, and no matter what time of day I arrived, I could always back my truck and trailer into the garage and do what I needed to do on my own schedule. At one point I realized we needed to rent a moving van as well. Just walked over to the office on the corner and they took care of it. They also have a great security system and the staff is always willing to help. I definitely recommend this place.

All the workers were friendly and always helpful. Sometimes they were unavailable at the counter or to speak on the intercom, but they also seem short handed because everybody was busy working on other stuff when they weren’t available.
The facility only had one elevator, which was really unhelpful when multiple people were trying to access their own units at the same time. It took ten minutes just to get onto the elevator the first time. When I finally got on, I got up to the third floor and found out there was someone with two kids stuck up there for half an hour. I myself was stuck on the third floor for twenty minutes trying to call the elevator because some guys on the second floor kept the door open while they were loading/unloading their stuff. I ended up calling someone, who came up and explained what was happening on the second floor. We gave them fifteen minutes and I finally got into the elevator and out of the building.
I’ll never use this facility again, and I will warn anybody against using it, unless they can get storage on the ground floor. Which is a shame, because all the staff were great and otherwise it seems like a nice facility.

The manager wouldn't let me park my car in the vehicle secure area at the back I had items stolen I notified police officers they said it was out of their pay grade the items were cell phones and tablets now I'm having all kinds of things accessing my personal account I took pictures of the fence and the sign that said vehicle storage and it clearly states not to exceed $15,000 and there was not one item back there that was under $15,000 I know I drive a s***** car but at the end of the day I needed some kind of place to store it I only requested a few hours

It’s been hard. They held onto my unit for me as long as they could. Unfortunately I lost my belongings to auction on the 1st. My 1 year stay was perfect. Only during my move out at 6am, I had the most trouble accessing the facility and picking up the reserved truck with the app. I had to wait till they were open to get back in the facility and started the truck pickup through the website.

The only complaint i have was that the keypad denied me access one night that I needed to get in and had to wait until the next day to get in. They had not entered in the system all my info so it looked like I had not paid my bill bit the it was their error. One time the keypad wasn't working and fortunately the inside was still open so I could get in. I had some things in my unit that the family member was only in town for 9 days so we were on a crunch time. That was frustrating and also the alarms being set off constantly

I thought I rented a10 x 20. Turns out that is 2 10x10 next to each other. I had to get 2 separate locks and ended up only using one unit. I told them after we finished packing the one unit and they said that it was too late. They rent the 10x20 as two units and I would have to unpack and rent a10x10 and could not get my money back for the second unit. It doesn't say online this is two separate units when you rent them. I think this is dishonest and deceiving. Shame on uhaul for ripping people off

The only problem we had was the alarm going off several times while we were in our unit. (One day, when we were organizing our unit, it went off ten times). We were told they were cutting off locks. The alarm was right by our unit and it was deafening! I understand uhaul needs to have security, but this made it impossible for us to work in our unit for ANY length of time. Which is the reason we moved out. Other than that it was a great experience.

The staff is EXCELLENT!!!! They are welcoming, polite, helpful and just amazing! I admit years ago I had a very negative view of UHaul, but this site and staff have completely turned it around and I think UHaul is excellent. This staff went above and beyond to be helpful.

Uhaul cost me over $700 in items I could not load on my truck or trailer, at least $700 I left for the new owner of my home because it could not fit on the truck and trailer I was stuck with. I do entend to make a call as the trailer blew a tire and brakes causing an unnecessary stay in another hotel where I had to pay for my pets as that was not covered....and then we ran into rain and the truck nor the trailer were sealed so my things were all wet when I unloaded. I am not a happy customer!!!!!!

Facility was great. Some staff was helpful. Should not have EVER had to go in 4 times due to not being able to access my unit after hours when I paid for 24hr access. Tried calling the after hours number on the facility for the manager and could not get an answer or a phone call back. Absolutely ridiculous. Due to move out having so many issues with not being able to get in my unit I had to rush to get moved to MN when I would have had a couple days to unload the Uhaul I rented but instead I had about 12hrs! I had to have people move the last of my things out of the unit for me because I could not be there to finish myself unless I wanted to pay for more time with the Uhaul trailer. Worst experience with a storage unit.

It's an excellent facility, everything is in tip top shape. The only real problem I have is that after a certain hours everything is closed. I think it's 10:00 p.m. You no longer have access to your storage. I prefer 24-hour access because sometimes I can't always get there during daylight hours or in the hours that you have to set. Doesn't seem like to me it would be that much extra for you to have a night person considering all the electronic security that you have you shouldn't have any issues with 24-hour facility.

The storage facility was easy to move in and out of. We had no issues during the time we had the storage unit. The only thing I would recommend for
U-haul overall is the automatic payment system, it never worked for us. I would recommend renting again and would consider it for future storage needs.

Our experience with this U-Haul was excellent. Amanda was extremely friendly and helpful, as were all the staff, with all our needs. We used 2 spots, an RV spot and a unit while we were waiting on our house to be built. The facility was always clean convinient and well kept. Elevator kept moving up and down even after the doors opened causing various items of ours to fall over and get damaged. The app wasn't working so we couldn't return the truck, got charged for bringing it back after hours, and got charged for an additional day (additional charges were later reversed except for the extra days rental of the utility dolly). Rented a 20ft truck and was given a free storage unit only to discover that the free unit was 7x10x11 and wouldn't hold all of our belongings. The following day received message warning about potential future charges being assessed due to not putting all of their courtesy carts back in the holding area before leaving. All and all I'm over the whole experience and won't ever use them again.

I tried four different times to have the U-haul return location changed to Wichita because that was where my car was and despite my efforts it remained in Anthony 54 miles away from my car an 10 miles from my home. The only reason I can see for this is either the staff isn't listening or U-haul is trying to stick people with the wrong return location charge of $300 dollars. I returned my U-haul in Anthony an rented it again an still I was stuck with Anthony as my return location despite me telling them that I needed to return the U-haul in Wichita because that was were my car was!! I see that as trying to rip me off or the staff at U-haul just doesn't listen.

First time storage user. My only complaint is that neither the email or text told me I had to check in when getting there. I did everything online so I assumed that I was checked in and ready since it said my key was in my unit. It gave me access codes and such but did not really explain that I needed them even during store hours. Other than that, it has been great so far.

The truck came full of gas and was easy to check out and bring back to the facility. We also received a discount for where the truck was dropped off so that was a nice bonus. We would rent from U-haul again in the future.
