I do not believe the U-Haul statement that an U-Box will typically hold 1-1/2 rooms of furniture. Also, the furniture was suppose to have been delivered to Rogers, AR, but was instead delivered to Springdale, AR, which caused coordination issues with our third-party movers (who did a wonderful job considering the problem).Miles W.

I booked my trailer online. When I went to pick it up the rates were way higher than my online rates. The man that checked me in was having a bad day. He was rude and sarcastic. Provide accurate pictures of the equipment for check out inspections. And teach your staff how to review someone's order when they return, and not say "I've been doing this for X amount of years" when I question being told my card will be run for authorization a THIRD time. Not impressed. Plenty of places to get a Uhaul in this town, and I'll go elsewhere next time.Alysea P.

Customer Service was not as good as it could have been. I am not sure if this was a local issue or not. Even though we were 30 miles from the pick up location that is where we were required to return the truck. When we left the store the truck showed 1/2 tank of gas. On the return trip, my son-in-law who was driving the truck ran out of gas. He had to get a gas can and return to the truck to put some in the tank, even then and after filling up prior to returning the truck, it did not seem the gas gauge was registering correctly. The other frustrating piece of this was when we called the number about road side assistance, the wait time was over 30 minutes so we went ahead and took care of matters ourselves by getting a gas can to fill the truck. When there is an emergency, no one should be expected to wait 30+ minutes. I am just thankful, we live in a well travelled area to have assistance from others than your company.James B.

The young man who finalized my contract had to deal with an upset customer on the phone. Even though I had to wait a while, he did all the right things to try and rectify the situation with that customer. Being a manager in a customer service business, I appreciated how he handled the situation.dennis S.
I was told that I had to put $100 deposit down because of the type of card I had, and then I could ask for cash back for the difference (because it takes so long for it to show back up on the card) when I returned the truck. I did this and was told that I couldn't. It had to go back on the card I used. Very frustrating. I would've paid a different way if I'd known. Employees should know what they're talking about. We rented a 10' truck which wasn't bad but the passenger side was not comfortable. It has no leg room and unless you move the seat forward you're not able to recline the seat back at all. Other than that it was fine.MAHER G.

I I explained that my motorcycle was 59.3 inches wide she assured me that the 5x9 trailer was 60 inches wide. I was also told the trailer was $35. I was charged $68. When I got the trailer the tailgate is not 60 inches wide and the back of the trailer has boxed in corners so my motorcycle wouldn't fit. It pulls fantastic empty.Kenneth H.

I reserved a trailer at one location but had to pick it up at this location, on the other side of town. Therefore, I had to drive an extra 10 miles out of my way. Now, in your defense, they emailed me of the change in location but I failed to read it properly. I did mention this to the attendant and she arranged it so that I could return the trailer to a location closer to me, at no extra charge.Wallace W.

Make sure you have the equipment available at the location it's rented so customer isn't wasting miles driving all over the city wasting gas and time to pick up the appliance dolly because the chosen location didn't have it. I rented the truck at a different location originally and that was even changed due to the requested location not having a truck available. There has got to be a better system for this. No one called and told me about the location change even though they said they did. Zero record of it and no voicemail like they claim. Would not recommend at all. I understand this truck must be one for in-town travel only...that should be made known to the next customer. A couple of maintenance lights were constantly lit up on the instrument panel, and the transmission felt as if it were going to drop after each shift (engine would get super wound up before each shift). This particular truck shouldn't be allowed out of town...the "insurance" should be included as part of the cost, not an extra $14.Stanley R.

It's an excellent facility, everything is in tip top shape. The only real problem I have is that after a certain hours everything is closed. I think it's 10:00 p.m. You no longer have access to your storage. I prefer 24-hour access because sometimes I can't always get there during daylight hours or in the hours that you have to set. Doesn't seem like to me it would be that much extra for you to have a night person considering all the electronic security that you have you shouldn't have any issues with 24-hour facility.matthew s. | First Impressions

The storage facility was easy to move in and out of. We had no issues during the time we had the storage unit. The only thing I would recommend for U-haul overall is the automatic payment system, it never worked for us. Elevator kept moving up and down even after the doors opened causing various items of ours to fall over and get damaged. The app wasn't working so we couldn't return the truck, got charged for bringing it back after hours, and got charged for an additional day (additional charges were later reversed except for the extra days rental of the utility dolly). Rented a 20ft truck and was given a free storage unit only to discover that the free unit was 7x10x11 and wouldn't hold all of our belongings. The following day received message warning about potential future charges being assessed due to not putting all of their courtesy carts back in the holding area before leaving. I tried four different times to have the U-haul return location changed to Wichita because that was where my car was and despite my efforts it remained in Anthony 54 miles away from my car an 10 miles from my home. The only reason I can see for this is either the staff isn't listening or U-haul is trying to stick people with the wrong return location charge of $300 dollars. I returned my U-haul in Anthony an rented it again an still I was stuck with Anthony as my return location despite me telling them that I needed to return the U-haul in Wichita because that was were my car was!!
