They didn't complete my return while apparently when I was there, asked for the receipt and they said it would be emailed. Never got it and then started getting messages the next day about setting up my return. After calling twice and being forwarded to a call center both times spending 15 mins on the phone each time with a promise to get called back (never received a return call) I ended up having to go back to the store a 2nd time for them to realize it was returned. Didn't leave that time without a piece of paper in my hand, I recommend you don't either.

Mark M.I ordered a 10' Truck and they upgrade me to a bigger one, cause they didn't had it available and they acted like they did a favor to me. When I told them that I don't want a bigger one cause the gas consumption, the sales repr kept going with the process. I had to tell him that he need to give me a type of discount with the gas prices now-days. He finally did. But the worst was that when I pulled over to my apartment, I found cockroaches at the back of the truck. Very bad situation. I had to spray all over and all my furniture and clothes were smelling bug spray. Not to mention I had to wait for a while to start puting my staff in the truck. Finally, when I went to check out after I finished, I mentioned it to the staff member and he did and say NOTHING. I was a happy customer with U-Haul, but not any more. I can definitely use Home Depot trucks as well.
Dimitrios T.My fist truck had the power steering going out and couldn't feel it until speed was above 30mph, and was running terribly rough. Once I got home I turned around drove back and got another without a problem, drove it from Ft worth to Merritt island Florida the next two days without a hiccup.

Denise S.The truck wasn't filthy, but it was in need of a wash and the windshield wasn't clean. When cold-starting, there was some sort of buzzer going off. It was like a low air warning, for air brakes, but I don't know if this truck had air brakes. A sticker on the dash told that the button on the end of the right lever was to enter "tow/load" mode. However, there was no instruction about whether or not the trailer icon, on the dash, was supposed to be on or off. The insurance loophole about not disconnecting the trailer is unreasonable. I opted out of the insurance because of it.

I have been using uhaul for over 30 years and no employee has ever made me so angry trying to discuss an error with the gas in my vehicle. I had spoke with another employee that had already left for the day and she would not listen to my concern because I had no proof other than the employee l had shown the gas gauge

The brake pedal had about 10 to 11 inches of free travel before they would meet any resistance. Once resistance was felt there was only approximately 3 inches of additional travel before the pedal was bottomed out.

David H.the location is hard to get to. i went in on two different occasions and the people working there have very poor customer service. one man was yelling at a customer and the female who helped us didnt smile nor act like they like their job, as soon as we walked away she was talking to the other worker and got so excited about something and said oh dude you have to send that to me, that was the most expression we had seen from her and it wasnt toward us. the only kind and wonderful person was the man outside cleaning and checking in the trucks.

Stephen S. | First ImpressionsI am EXTREMELY dissatisfied with Uhaul. I was given an access code written on paperwork at the time I purchased my unit. Two hours later, after I retrieved my belongings, I came to the storage facility at approximately 6:30pm. I entered the access code on the page, including the * and # on the front and back, and was denied a total of 8 times from accessing the gate. I tried calling customer services and was told I could not be helped. This is the second time in THREE MONTHS I have has this problem trying to access a unit after store hours. You all as a company have GOT to do better. Especially in a time where people are moving at higher rates than ever before. I have yet to receive a refund for the unit I was charged a full month for and not able to access on Rufe Snow Blvd, and have called about that three times, with no indication from a property manager when I would get my money back. I will be reporting this matter to the better business bureau as well, my Harry Hines storage unit has been changing in price without my consent sporadically over the last several months. I need to be reimbursed for the day that I was charged yesterday to move into the storage unit, because I was not able to access it. I need to be reimbursed for the cost of extending my trailer rental, due to not being able to access my unit or the property manager. I also need to be reimbursed for the unit on rufe snow I was not able to access due to their elevators being broken. As a customer, I’m completely shocked at the terrible service I’ve received from Uhaul. From property managers to customer service representatives: The stress and frustration of not being able to access these units, as well as the time and money it’s cost me is absolutely disgusting. I drove half way across the US and had a issue which caused that delay and when I arrives at the facility I was told that my unit was given away. First of Ll that makes no sense. If I booked a hotel room for a month and was a day late it would not matter, I would simply have one less day. This has forever changed my opinion of uhaul and realize it's just another evil corporation. The salesperson at the desk was rude about it and offered no solution for me. I had to ask him, "how can you help me now" because he offered no options...until I asked. I was given a tiny unit that made I had to pack completely which made it nearly impossible to ever get anything I needed without unpacking all the boxes each time I needed to find something. Not to mention the smell of toxic poison was so strong that I would lose my sense of taste after being inside for more than 10 minutes. I can't help but shake my head when thinking of my experience.
