This is minor but re: the uhaul.com/share option for notifying Uhaul when you're dropping the vehicle off after hours--if you could let people know that they need to access the site AS they drop off the vehicle. I'd already locked the vehicle and put the keys in the dropbox when I accessed the link and obviously by then it was too late to get an odometer reading, picture of odometer, etc. Thanks.James S.

Truck was reserved for 10/22. Upon arrival, was informed that no trucks were available. Staff was indifferent to the whole situation and continuously blamed the "customer" who didn't return his truck on time. Was given the option to drive 90 miles to pick up an available truck. My move to Florida was delayed over 1 day. Moving help was now not available. My reservation was made 3 weeks in advance. No excuse for this type of poor service. A complete disaster.GARY S.

The trucks alignment was off alot. I had to keep the wheel turned fully sideways to the left to drive straight. I told the guy at the location on the phone. He simply said it was just back from maintenance and he will look at it when I brought it back. He needed the truck back for another family. He told me they were going to Florida. I explained to him it was not safe to drive that distance with the alignment as bad as it was. The viehical also had trash underneath the seat. Which makes me believe it was not sanitized properly for covid.Jonathon W.
I know contracts are contracts! 3:30 was our return time...I called and said by the time we unloaded we would be till 5:30 returning the truck. And I was told we would get charged another day's rental! Do you not think that is quite excessive for 2 hours? I think there should be a scale of charge for an extra hour or two. My only complaint is thanks to Covid-19 lockdowns this year, it took a lot longer to sell my home than expected, but throughout the whole process you guys were great and I was able to got back into storage to retrieve the books and crafting supplies that helped keep us sane when we couldn't go anywhere.john b. | Overall Experience
Had to travel 35 miles both ways to get truck because many locations closer couldn't provide truck requested. Was told there would be mileage credit. Fucking communicate between branches and with the customer!! I reserved a trailer unit in one town for pick up in the morning for a local rental, and by 7am that day my reservation had been â€œmovedâ€ to a location 30 minutes away for the evening after my help was scheduled to be done! I asked customer service to find anyone even remotely close and they swore up and down there was NOTHING in existence. I got to the Wilkes Barre branch, low and behind there was one sitting on the lot. Called and they said yes it has been available all day and has no reservations scheduled for tomorrow. I had asked the customer service rep point blank if they had any available in Wilkes-Barre that morning and they said no! The amount of stress, number of phone calls and circles I have been sent in to get a semi-decent solution is disgusting. I am frustrated and would like a refund.Dominique R.

We rented a van to transport a queen mattress and box spring. Van was super clean. It drove wonderfullyâ€”the brakes worked like a dream! I was able to reserve it over my phone and going in the next day to pick it up was easy too. A few minutes with my drivers license and we were on our way!Rebecca W.
I had a reservation for a unit, the staff was very friendly her name was Ashley, however you didn't have a unit for me. All of the units in the building had locks on the first floor but we're not taken out of inventory so I had to scramble and find another location for storage. I never got to move in. I don't know that I would ever use U-haul again. I had a horrible experience getting my truck in South Carolina where you have a remote location that can't pick up GPS running a 24/7 pickup. I then had to drive 49 minutes to the next location to pick up a truck 20 miles outside of my way period then the owner hit the truck off of the gutter coming out to deliver the truck to me. I really think there needs to be more reliability during this time when you're not going to have people at a location on a Friday to hand you keys. I will never use your 24/7, or your online reservation service again. I was extremely disappointed being that I've used U-Haul several times for moving in my past. My entire schedule got messed up because of inconsistency within the U-Haul system. This is a no reflection of Ashley she was very personable and very professional. She even offered to call your Kingston location but by that point I had just about had it and was trying to keep my composure. The only negative comment that I have is after the WIlkes-Barre Twp facility was damaged by a tornado, being a former police officer in that town, I know there was damage. Trying to get information on my unit was very difficult. Nobody from uhaul reached out to me. I was originally supposed to get a uHaul at the Old Forge store for 7am. The customer who had the truck night before never returned it at 5:45pm as agreed upon. Nobody ever called me and told me. I showed up for the uHaul that I reserved and the woman (Debby) was dismissive and said, â€œIt happens,â€ and walked away. It was not until I started yelling and causing a scene (I had moving men schedule for 7:45AM) that she finally called her manager who then referred me to the Mundy street location. By then, I had to ask the movers to push the time back (which they were upset) and I had to push my day back and I was two hours behind schedule. I was moving to Philly and since I was now 2 hours behind schedule, I hit 12pm traffic and it took 4 hours to get there, making me late for the moving men I had scheduled in philly. UHaul is a TERRIBLE COMPANY. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!! I should have listened to everyone when they told me how terrible they were.Jenna O.

Ashley and Christian were incredible, I had my car out at their storage facility for a year I wasynt sure if my car would start after sitting so long so they went out and tried it for me before I got there preventing me from having to go back to get a new battery or jumper cables after finding out on my own.
