We had reserved a 10' box truck with a car hauler. When we got to the Dealer in Williston, they would not accept our order, but did the entire reservation over, and charged us for a 15' box truck. The person writing the order, was having trouble understanding the contract, and could not explain the features. When we went to the truck, no one was there to check it out with us. we had to go back in and ask for someone. We left the dealer with a truck not well maintained. The transmission wouldn't shift until 4,000 rpms, causing us to spend more money on gas. Also, the truck did not have cruise control. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone.

Made reservations TEN days prior to pickup. And there was apparently not the correct size trailer in the entire state.... absolutely ridiculous. Will never go through U-Haul again for any reason.

The man that helped me needs to shower use deodorant. I’ve been there twice and both times it was the same way. I hate to say it but he stinks so bad. I would go to another place before I came back to this uhaul.

I was living in Williston ND where I put in a reservation for at 26 foot truckTwo weeks later I was call and told that there is no 26 foot truck but I have a 20 foot truck. And one day before I had to pick up the truck I was called back to tell I don’t have a 20 foot truck but we could give you a 15 the trailer equals the same thing I told him that won’t work so I to drive 147 miles each way to get a truck. This was so inconvenient for me still and I had to get a trailer when I got back to Weston to add to the truck and still had to leave half of my stuff in Williston which I have to pay again to go for but moving forward I would never use U-Haul again because I need to fix your system.

The trailer being rented to me was non opera due to a broken wire so it had no right turn signal. The delivery address was incorrect. I was supposed to deliver to Garretson, MD and the paperwork was filled out to make me go 30 miles out of my way all the way back to Sioux Falls, SD so I will most cerotry and avoid going to Williston ever again. The staff member in Williston was overwhelmed at my time of check in and his supervisor had to come back in to help him. I was as patient as possible but after the hassle of driving the extra numerous miles my experience was not a pleasant one and will hopefully never have to experience again. Customer service was terrible, the guys were getting mad that the computer wasn’t working and swearing, it took 2 hrs to get a small $15 trailer rented, I brought it back during the time allotted and got double charged, had to call and speak to a few employees to Get it fixed and was told it would be 72 hours before I got an answer. They were very unprofessional and not very courteous to customers. The other customer there told me he was there for couple hours that morning and was told to come back and he was very upset. I even filled out the express check in form online and that didn’t do anything. If there is a long wait let somebody know what’s going on or take down their phone number and let them know when it’s ready. Nobody has time to sit at uhaul all day!

The first rental had a cracked windshield and was noted by the uhaul attendant- only to have the return attendant to try to charge me for a cracked windshield. The second rental’s high beam switch didn’t work

I was pissed because I’d reserved a 26’ Truck, had everything planned to make 1 trip. The day before I’m told I can’t get the 26’truck till around 5pm. But there is a 15’ truck available. So I made 2 trips with the 15’ truck that cost me 120$ in gas. And finished the test with my pickup . I hope if I need to move again there are better options available.

Military discount would be great, working AC would be nice. A fan that blows on something besides high would be good. Not paying North Dakota state tax when I am a Montana resident and am I tax exempt which is what the statue says would be a good thing as well. As far as recommending this particular uhaul, doesn’t really matter since they are the only one and have a monopoly on the market. Well played uhaul!

I've rented from this facility twice now and held a storage unit for a month. Both times I've received excellent service from the staff and I appreciate the employees and overall appearance of the facility. The store is well stocked and carries anything you could need for your move.

So there were obviously issues with the moving I normally rent from the Sidney Montana location but unfortunately due to the inconvenience of not having what was advertised on their website at the location which I chose I had to go outside of my way to the Williston location I have a three-year-old and a four-year-old niece and nephew that I had to watch as well as moving a three bedroom house into another three-bedroom house bit by bit piece by piece and it was only two people doing the movie so unfortunately we were a little late with returning the vehicle I spoke to two of the rudest and I mean absolutely apallingly rude if reservation managers(melissa Nd Crystal) I have ever in my 10 years of customer service experience had the nerve to deal with they refuse to refund the overage fees even when I was kind and explain to them that I didn't realize it would cost me almost 100 dollars to rent one 10 foot truck for one day it is ridiculous how they charging just because they lost one customer because they didn't give out the right track to the right person I am so sorry that U-Haul is super incompetent and doesn't have all range of all vehicles available in all locations as ADVERTISED ONLINE my advice find yourself a new company to rent from because this place doesn't deserve a red hot heat penny from any one of the customers in Williston or Sidney

The older guy working there seemed overwhelmed. Forgetting what he was doing. It took a long time to check out and reserve a truck. Another man was there trying to pick up a truck but the older man had the truck key in his pocket and was wandering around with the key. It took that man 20 minutes to get the truck key from him. The day we picked up the truck went better because the younger female took care of us.

Once trip started I noticed the trailer had a short in the tail lights. Keep blowing fuses in my truck. Notified the personnel of problem when I returned the trailer to the Williston location.

Took 3 1/2 hours to get our trailer. Way understaffed and ratchet/ tie downs are not treated well enough for north Dakota rust.

The lady that wrote my contract was very cold, not friendly at all. I would drive a 1000 miles out of my way so I would not have to deal with her. We rented the truck drove it from Williston to Watford City. Kept it in town drove it very little to keep mileage down. I drove my car to the work site.i got my truck out of the shop after work and took your truck back after hours.and left the keys. There was not any damage done by me to your truck she is lying, but I will pay the 118 dollars to not deal with you or your people or company again. Thank You D Nygaard

Don't send them to moses lake 990 e Broadway location. They will get you very lost and they themselves are the dimmest bulbs in the entire warehouse! Williston gets an A+.

Returning the equipment took over an hour. The return equipment lane was full so all I wanted to do was ask if I should leave it as close as possible, in the parking lot, or what. More staff might help, it was only a single guy there. To be fair a more competent person might've been alright. He rented equipment to 2 people in that hour I waited. Friendly enough when I did get to him, let me just leave the trailer wherever.
