Make sure the customer who rents the equipment prior to someone else's reservation returns that equipment on time. I was scheduled to get the truck and trailer at 11am and didn't get it until 3pm. That made a HUGE difference in my plans; not to mention I lived 45 mins from this particular U-Haul and there were no trucks at any closer locations though there were several locations closer to my home.

I reserved a 10 foot truck and when I arrived to pick up my rental they informed me that they did not have a truck for me and after going to 3 other locations I had to rent a larger truck then needed costing me more money than planned and lost 2 hours of moving time. I was on hold for over 30 minutes with the 1-800 number and then was disconnected before talking to someone! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

staff was attentive and cooperative. A VERY observant employee apparently noticed from an upstairs office window that my trailer hitch was not quite tightened down and responded downstairs forthwith to not only inform me, but to remedy the situation. THANK YOU to whomever that was. I'm sorry I did not get his name.

This was a horrific experience for my family and I. The truck wasn't available for pickup despite early planning. It broke down half way through. Roadside assistance was of no help. And we're still waiting to here back from anyone regarding a refund for all of our troubles

Given the growing epidemic, I would have appreciated seeing staff take precautions as recommended the CDC. None of the staff working on pickup or return were wearing a mask. There was no indication of the truck had been cleaned/sanitized from the prior use.

My wife and I are so pleased with the service we received. Two young men loaded what filled the back of a 20 foot truck from our house. Moved it to my father-in-law's house. Moved furniture out of his house, unloaded the contents of the truck into that house and then moved the furniture from that house back to ours. They moved many antique pieces included several marble-top piece. They were extremely organized, polite and respectful of our belongings. I am so glad we went with this business.

My truck was dirty. I had to clean it before we could load. Upon unloading, we discovered that the truck leaked. I had rained for 2 days and my beds were destroyed and most item on truck needed cleaned.

The first truck that we got had ROACHES crawling all over the truck! it was evident that the truck had not been cleaned and disinfected. I sprayed the truck with Lysol before getting in it and the back of the truck before loading my items. I went and brought roach spray but was afraid to put anything in the truck. I called customer service and was advised to return the truck for a replacement. the manager did so graciously and was very accommodating . I just feel that in these times more than ever they can not skip the cleaning process.

First of all, these trucks should be cleaned n disinfected, specially, at a time of a global pandemic. That truck was gross, there was ashes all over the astray area. We found a left over Marijuana cigarette in the back of the truck. The mirrors were not working. In the .idle of the traffic, I had to unbundled myself to fix the mirror because driver couldn't see the traffic. The truck had an awful noise that we were afraid that we weren't going to make it. A horrible experience!! The lDy you guys have in the office was not wearing a mask in such an opened area, totally unsafe!!

Bait and switch. The 26 foot truck I reserved was not there and I was forced to take a beaten up 17 foot truck. 2 trips instead of 1 means more miles and gas. No discount. To top it off, I was charged $9.0] for 1/10 of a gallon of gas. Very disgusted.

I was given an 8:00 am pick up time and arrived as scheduled through the app and confirmations and found out I had to wait till 9:00 when the store opened (delaying my move in process) I returned promptly at 9 to get the truck, yet the store was not open yet. The person was 15 minutes late to open the store. Then we waited a while longer to actually have all the equipment available.

Be for a customer goes to rent a uhal truck if they have a fee or a issue let the. customer know ahead of time so if they need to rent the truck again there is no problem. You have customers email address so you can take care of things like that by emailing the customer once the truck is brought back if there were any issues with the truck or not, the same way you email customers to take do a review.

I was not happy my pick up location was changed from my original location on Kirkwood although in hi height that guy hung up on me when I asked a question but, the governor Printz location was awesome. The guy who managed my pick up was very helpful and professional. When I dropped off the guys I talked to were also very Polite and professional, took 2 minutes. Very impressed with this uhaul location and will use them again and refer to others.

There were many ups and downs to this experience. The Uhaul location did not have all the needed equipment available for the moving help on the reservation date. But then the next day the people in charge of the Uboxes really scrambled to get the equipment needed and moving help to get me loaded and on the way. At the other end the delivery service worked hard to get the boxes delivered as early as possible.

I occurred more debt having to keep vehicle a second day due to storage not being cleaned out had to wait for worker in the rain until he was able to get things open... didnt get tarp I request. Most of my thing were wet k had to purchase boxes twice and move my things in alone because the movers wont move wet things into storage because the didnt want the liability of my things if damaged...smh this is awful.

Make it clear at the time of booking and/or rental whether the renter needs to put gas in the truck. Make sure the truck is well-maintained. One of the mirrors fell off when I started driving. This made it almost impossible to back up or even change lanes. Otherwise, no issues, and the price was much cheaper than alternatives.

Despite reserving the truck and dolly over a week in advance, on the morning I arrived, there was no furniture dolly to use. My money was refunded My girlfriend had to go to another location to rent the dolly. The attendant who helped us in Wilmington was fantastic though.

Order # 21072822. Charged an extra $181.44 for no reason. I already paid $1316 for two Uboxes. The Wilmington store charged me extra 1 month storage and it took them 15 days to get my UBoxes.
