CHRISTOPHER PThe van was clean enough but on the maintenance side I found out the wiper blade on the passenger side was missing the actual blade part. The part that is supposed to touch the windshield and sweep away the water. No big deal until it started raining. And it kept raining until 2days after I returned the van. So I could only see out of half the wind shield for all but the first hour or so after picking up the van.

Suzanne MThe associate that help check the truck back in was friendly. I had no issues with the staff at either location. I did have an issue with U-Haul’s procedure and the customer service rep on the support line. My truck size was changed from a 15’ to 10’. I understand that I am not guaranteed the truck size. The agent that called me 2 days before was helpful and offered additional miles for a second round trip. That’s fine. When I went to return the truck to the location I booked which was 10 minutes from me I was told the lot was full and I would need to take it another location that was 35 minutes away. The agent on the line literally said it’s not our problem. I ended up driving the truck an extra 4 hours than planned. The truck worked out fine but I can’t use U-Haul again if I can count on getting what I needed.
Ed PMan in front of me was there because his storage unit had been broken in to. The truck i was given had the left side mirror completely loose off the swivel and I was unable to see anything, nearly causing an accident

Tina BOn April 26th, I called ahead and made sure my 26ft truck was there and ready and Ramen said yes. Then, he proceeded to check me out when I arrived and NONE of the 26ft trucks were parked on the lot and you had to walk a 1 1/2 block away to see the truck they gave me keys to. All the trucks they wanted to give me were in terrible condition bald tires and look like hadn't been maintained in a 1-2 years. I asked for the 2 out 5 trucks that were in decent condition. The two women who never gave me their name and thought to running back in forth behind the building to look at NONVIABLE trucks was funny. I told them simple Girls that I had movers waiting for me at CUBESMART on 4601 N. Market St-5minutes away and that was funny to the two girls too. I asked for 1 of the 2 trucks that were road worthy. They had collected my $3000 dollars and refused to refund it and REFUSED to give me 1 of those 2 trucks that were road worthy because they said they were the LOCAL run trucks and they weren't giving them to me. So then I said you have to give me a refund or a smaller truck 20ft truck and they said well see. they might be all reserved. Also, those two girls told me they wouldn't issue me a refund on the SIZE diference from 26foot to a 20foot truck either. Told me good luck with contacting the manager on Monday basically for any gas adjustment and refund. Those women gave me a 20ft truck on Empty and thought that was amusing too!! That site needs new employees and an overhaul on maintenance on your UHAUL trucks.(Ramen was kind but scared of those two evil women) I need a CALF to be created to give me a refund ASAP -- I was moving after 30years of Marriage due to a Divorce and this UHAUL caused me so much STRESS and upsetting. I was trying to move ALL of my STUFF with ONE trip in a 26 foot truck but I was unable to make one trip Thanks to this GOVENOR PRINTZ site. I really wanted to do 1 trip and cancel my 5;/3/26 reservation. PLEASE CONTACT ME

patrick dThe location is convenient, but the vehicle was in poor condition. The right side mirror was very loose and on expressway it kept moving which made this vehicle unsafe to drive. I had to continuously stop to adjust the right side mirror

Leah BThe Blak gentleman behind the counter was very nice and helpful. He explained everything and when I returned the van he went above and beyond to make sure everything was good and I got my final receipt before leaving. This location is really good and this is the third time I have used them.
Takeya KStephen is a liar and a manipulative person. He is unprofessional and argues with his clients. He placed a lock on my storage when it was two days late and tried to argue with me. I had to call the police and he still made pay for May and i moved out on 4/28! I would never recommend this hood storage to anybody.

Dan SWhen i finally got to the correct uhaul on governer prince blvd the service was excellent. But initially the app had be going to the wrong pickup location literally a mile away in a ghetto war zone. I took an uber and he wouldn't even drop me off there because he was familiar with the location. So instead of dropping me off he drove and waited for me to make sure they could rent me a truck. Serious issue! But i'm rating it so highly bc the actual pickup uhaul store was great.

Alyce TDecrease the rates. You are too expensive and rival sedan rentals from Enterprise Rent A Car. Almost $400 for 4 days for the smallest van you have is more than I paid for a rental from Enterprise for a 5-seater small SUV that is stylish and not plastered with obvious signs from the company I am renting from.

Michele MAgain, we lost about an hour at this location waiting on a technician to arrive and help us unload. There was no one on site, when we arrived, who knew how to loosen the wheel straps and to remove the chains from the car. When the technician arrived, he did a very good job and quickly helped me get the car free .

Richard FBecause of this location's mistake, it cost me dearly! Uhaul emptied my bank account by changing excessive fees. This was an intown rental for only 2 days, 54 miles, and I was charged over $700! I had to dispute this with my bank because I did not authorize this transaction. And Uhaul did nothing!!!! The GM of this Wilmington location (Steve B), does not answer or return calls. Uhaul couldn't care less! I will no longer use nor recommend Uhaul. It is a very unethical company!
Kimberly WIf you need to rent a U-Haul this is the best location. All the staff work together as a great team and THEY PROVIDE ACTUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE which is missing from so many businesses these days. Check in was easy and fun at the service desk. Everyone is happy and helpful. Same for the equipment return, quick and painless. The 2 trucks I rented were clean and ready to go. They run their business like an actual business and not a self-serve kiosk. Thank you for great service!

The unit they gave me had a lock stuck on it from the previous owner, so I couldn’t even move my belongings into the storage unit that I paid for. Then the only accommodation that they could give me is a unit down a long hallway with NO LIGHTING! Store manager was very nasty and did not accommodate AT ALL! He actually tried to coerce me into buying a bigger unit!! I have everything in camera! I honestly can’t believe how nasty he was. I WILL BE CALLING HEADQUARTERS ABOUT THIS LOCATION AND MANAGER!!

There were several other people there that were complaining about things, but they sounded like they just didn't read the fine print or understand the contract. The facility was not open at night, but that did not matter to me.

The facility itself is a little worn down, in my unit the ceiling was caving in, and there was little to no lighting inside the facility. Another inconvenience was I asked and paid for 10x14 but received 2 5x7 units as the store stated they didn’t have any 10x14’s left. At the time it worked out, I just needed the footage. When it came time to downsize my unit to 5x7, I was told I had to move to another 5x7 unit elsewhere in the facility because the 2 5x7 units I had are sold together since they don’t have enough 10x14’s. That is a business problem not a buyers problem. In the end I moved my items to another facility that was more modern, well lit, inside a building, and less money for more footage. Again, I’d like to shout out the managers, Steve & Charles my move out experience with them was superb. The facility itself needs updating and the procedures could use some work to benefit the customers.

noel b | Overall ExperienceThere was an issue with the storage unit that was reserved. When I came to move in on February, 12th, it was discovered that someone else was moved in the unit already. Rahmir did the best he could do to rectify the issue, by offering me multiple smaller units to accommodate my needs. A day or two later, I received a call by General Manager Steve, with an attitude telling me that I would still have to pay full amount for all of the units even though I was inconvenienced. I was going to take the issue to corporate but I never got around to doing so. After logging into my U-Haul account, I see that my move in dates listed as Feb 11, 12, 13, & 14th when it was the 12th. When I moved out on April 12th, I was told again by Steve in a nasty nonchalant like tone that I had to pay for the units or I wouldn’t be allowed to move! Then proceeded to tell me if you live in an apartment and the you had to move out by the 12 and you move out on the 12th the landlord would take you to court. Charles and Rahmir remembered the issue when I first moved in and did their best to help me. Steve should check his un-accommodating attitude especially having a position dealing with various customers and issues because I don’t see how he became a general manager anywhere!

My unit was mouse infested when I put in the claim to retrieve damages and losses, it was denied due to staff being dishonest to the adjusters so my claim was denied I lost about $10,000 due to the infestation and the employees were dishonest and not very helpful it would’ve been nice if my properties was compensated for I took a big loss lost a lot of my property and belongings, along with furniture and clothes i’m gonna be honest it was only one fella that was very helpful throughout my experience and he’s the manager

Then i called customer service waitied one hour for someone to pick up just to tell me speak with someone on site. When i did so, the guy opened the door fro me and told me to use someone to keep the door open as my code was not working. Not to mention, i was told to come back the next day to receive my free lock. further more, there was a lock on my storage and i also could not access my storage. it was ridiculous and the service was terrible!!!! it feels like you guys only care about the money

NY need to send people to a viable clean storage maybe outsource if their facility is not up to par in the connecting place people are renting or storing I was there less than 25 days got my free month and went to A CLEAN NEWER COMPANY...TOO MANY GAMES , JOKES, UNPROFESSIONAL WITH MOVERS..., AND THEY COST ME AN EXTRA DAY WITH THE TRUCK BECAUSE THE MOVERS FIRST SAID THEY COULD COME THEN CALLED AND SAID CAN THEY CIME 2 HOURS EARLIER ...I SAID NO....WE WERE ALREADY BOOKED. I ENDED UP GETTING Another MOVING Company THRU U HAUL, who came with $80.per hour. And later turned out to be just like U haul...too many word games with the people ..this day and time...people are educated and, for me I will make a better choice next time...there are SO MANY Other COMPANIES...Penske, HOME DEPOT...ETC ..JUST TO NAME A FEW....THE truck was FUNE...but the service was the pits.....

Lina M | Overall ExperienceTook me over an hour to get into my unit and had to be switched 3 times because they originally tried to put me in a mouse droppings infested, very smelly unit. The second unit they tried to put me in didn't have a working lock so I was switched yet again. Even after physically switching, no one switched me in the system so my code didn't work for a day. I also had to waste time and come inside to basically re-do my rental process when I had already did it online.

I was informed on arrival that just because I had a reservation it did not mean I had a reservation and no storage units were available. I encountered significant penalties having to find other storage units and U haul then hit me with fees for late drop off and over mileage. My intent is to pursue court action for breach of contract and recovery of costs .

My bags & boxes were eaten open by rodents. Dead mice were in the hallways as well as flies. This isn't the 1st time either. I've used them three times & each time was reassured the problem was under control but it wasn't. I only used them 4 the price but I paid the real price.

When calling still no one knew if our things were safe or stolen . Won’t store here again , yet Ellie’s Teklu was most kindest sweet professional when I originally encountered this facility .
