Mitch and Kyle at the Dougall Ave. (Windsor) location were excellent to work with. They set us up with the best trailer to travel across Canada and all the way up to the Yukon. They helped with various products we would need for packing and suggestions about tying down the items. They took time to make sure we were set for a good experience. The trailer performed well with no issues and the drop off in Whitehorse was easy and seamless with the help of Josie. Overall we had a great experience with UHaul equipment and representatives. Understaffed and not great customer service. Long lineups. Incorrect odometer reading on the vehicle; wasted 20 monutes to get the vehicle and they did not even know where it was on the lot. ot going back to this location again.Usman A.

My transaction was handled quickly my a friendly experienced desk person. My only complained would be that my credit card number was taken over the phone and was not inputted into the computer at that time. Got charged $92 overage with no explanation. Worker was bragging to her co worker while I was renting that she over charges people on their milage... I put gas in, stayed under my kms.. no reason for the charge. Super disappointed in my experience will not be using you guys againVASILIOSJ Y.

My online booking said 24 hours rental, but when I showed up in the morning, I was told that they'll only provide 8 hours rental. I mentioned that I needed for 24 hours and they said take it or leave it. They also put $100 penalty on the new agreement if i don't return by 5pm on the same day. I wasn't able to finish all my moving and will now need to find other ways to move my stuff.Mohammad U.
I called 5 times over 2hrs phone was never answered, that being said they were incredibly busy. The employees were friendly and helpful the issue is with UHAUL computer systems. They were running so slow that it takes 10 times longer to service people. it took me over 35mins (20mins in line) 15mins to rent a truck. The staff is good it is the computers which is beyond their control and apparently happens all the time. They need to invest in better wifi and internet connection.This was the sole reason for the back-up. So please invest in a better computer system. Plus we rented a 10' cube truck we rented needs some shock, uncomfortable drive. All of that aside I will continue to rent from UHAUL as it is a good overall service.MICHAEL D.

Jacqueline at the Dougal U-Haul was awesome. With short staff she was checking people in and had to come out and hook up my trailer. It was getting really busy and we ran into issues with the hitch I brought. She help me get the hitch to work, and really saved my day. I hope U-Haul appreciate the extra work, and customer service she provided. Being short staffed and going the extra mile to help out a customer. She is a very valuable asset and U-Haul should make sure she is justly paid for her efforts.MICHAEL D.

The truck was picked up day after ordering. Was ready promptly. The desk assistance was excellent on the phone when booking and in person picking up and returning. We had a 50 minute wait to pick up our rental. We had a 45 minute wait to return the vehicle. Also, we had to dispute some damage that was on the vehicle. We did not damage the vehicle. The clerk did refund our deductable. But we had another 40 minute wait to discuss the problem. So, most of our day was spent at UHaul, and our moving time was reduced.Catherine M.

Return sign says wait in vehicle. Waited 15 minutes and nobody came out. I was to return truck with 5/8 of a tank (even though the needle was a little shy of that. I brought it back with the needle well over 5/8 and was charged a fuel charge. The guy who signed me out insisted it was low. I had to show a picture of the gage to another employee to get my money back. Not impressed.Norman L.
Fooled me with the gas tank level. Once I pulled the pickup out of their parking lot, the gas level indicator went down by half a quater. This never happened before. I do rent out u hauls regularly, I know how much I drive and how much I have to fill gas in. The staff was rude and were not helpful at all.Harmanjot B.

Called the day before to ensure all was good with my reservation. Arrived the day of at proper pickup time. They did not have the size truck I NEEDED. Was offered much smaller truck. Asked about the larger trucks (in the lot) and was told they are not available. Although a $50 credit was given, they lacked any sort of willingness to make it right. Will not return to this location. Also, lineup to pickup truck 30min wait. Lineup to return 30min. They need more / better staffing for the volume they do.David M.
They did not have the trailer size I need available but they set me up with an alternative smaller trailer. The young lady that helped me was very pleasant and helpful. She did the paperwork and even came out and hooked the trailer up for me. Also your prices for both the trailer rental and insurance were very reasonable. The trailer was clean and ind great shape. On your website, returning a truck late was only indicated as being an extra day charge. Instead the charges were $435 for being a few hours late. I arrived at the time I was suppose to, but the employee there didn't have the keys for the building. Lucky the person from the night before didn't lock up properly and he was able to get in in the morning via a back door. Myself and a few other customers waited there till someone showed up to drop keys off to unlock the interior office door where the keys for the vehicles were kept. All in all, myself, and a few other customers waited there about an hour till someone showed up, with no compensation. I thought there would be a credit on my final bill for time wasted as per you're guarantee. It wasn't only me, but also the people that I hired to help us move, were sitting around waiting for myself and the truck!STEVEN M.

I had mouse droppings in boxes that had been chewed open. Two monthly payments were taken out after I moved out in good standing and even rented the equipment from you to move out. It took 4 phone calls for me to resolve this matter and have the monies put back on my card along with numerous hours of cleaning everything after discovering the mouse droppings..
