TRAVIS KMy experience on the shipping in was perfect. U-Haul provided the UB exactly on the time and date I requested. However on the receiving end, here in Atkins, Texas U-Haul was extremely uncooperative. I made at least nine phone calls to the U-Haul service numbers and was constantly transferred to a different department. Each department was not aware what the other department was doing, and kept telling me to call back. When I finally got in touch with a representative from the U-Haul, would location on FM 78, Ashley was extremely rude, and just kept giving me bowler plate answers to my questions. U-Haul also told my shipping and moving assistant, the wrong location as to where the boxes located. I’ve been very disappointed at the poor way U-Haul Phone service handled my request and the actual representative at the U-Haul location refused to help me with my request. I finally got what I wanted delivered by the mover. The mover was very helpful. The U-Haul experience, including your 800 call-center and u-haul.com was extremely disappointing.

WILMA DHonor the reservation made by customers. The truck I ordered wasn't available, and i was forced to rent a smaller truck, which screwed up my whole day. Further, was the lack of equipment dolly that was also reserved, as store said their "first come first serve". So what is the point of reserving one? Either you hold on to enough to fulfill reservations, and loan out excess, or don't make them reservable. Either hold equipment on site for reservations people made, or don't give the option to reserve equipment online.
NICHOLAS PTook along time. Almost didnt gwt to rent it. 5hey told me i was e altettef not cool. It was ovwrall ahhh... npt sure if ill go to that one again i was charged alot. All i wantef to rent was a $19.99 ttruck. It charged us over 100.dollars.
IRMA FI had issues with my bill a few times when I was in a rough spot but everyone was always nice and helpful even when they almost had to kick me out lol It is a service that requires payment but it was great that yall helped me how you could. Thank you!

SYDNEY AMade a reservation 2 days prior and still had to wait 1 hour, then I wait on phone for 35 minutes to speak to to someone and they hang up on me, then I call back and recording says I have to wait another 20 to 30 minutes, wow talk about bad Cx service.

ADRIANNE HThe only reason I said no to first question was there were problems with large automated doors and small locking door to the units at late hours. I noticed 3 different times when moving my stuff out. Staff did say they were working on fixing both doors. My rental of unit is excellent.

JIRO SI recommend checking on the time zone a customer picks up a rental versus drop off location before indicating a potential late turn in, but well covered by excellent staff.
Reginald SCustomers that complain about this company either don’t read the contract details, don’t pay attention or are nitpicking about things. If you read the contract and pay attention the process is straight forward, especially at this location. Excellent customer service and smooth process in and out. Go to any other rental company and the process is much harder with calling your insurance company and higher payments. Trailer is strong and could haul the engine I got. Perfect for my needs and was clean. I will be renting trailers here again.

Cher PYou guys have a really stupid policy that stopped my reservation, and check in process. The verification of any person/contact policy that isn't anywhere on your site. I completed everything online, created an account through the UHaul app and it said my rental is ready for pickup. They weren't able to get my contacts I provided on the phone so they said they can't give me the rental. Nowhere does it state anything about this contacts bullshit during check in anywhere, and this step denying me of my rental that I already booked and reserved online. It took over an hour and a half to get my rental vehicle because of this single step. If I would have known about this step prior to walking in to the store I would have had someone ready and available for a 5 second freaking phone call just to verify a voice on the other line. You need to have clarity and communication with your customers because I wasn't the only customer pissed off at the checkin counter cause your dumb asses want to delay us for a "verification person". Literally a voice on the other line. I've never had so much trouble going into a business/company and not being able to give you my business. Are you fucking stupid? It seemed like the idiots at the counter were trying harder to deny me and other customers from renting vehicles rather than making that whole experience easy and positive. So if anyone sees a UHaul vehicle driving anywhere on the road, just know that there's an angry and pissed off driver behind the wheel because your process and customer service was shit, and you want to make things difficult and unpleasant. You have the work harder not smarter approach to business instead of working smarter not harder approach. I have nothing else positive to say about my experience with UHaul. F U and eat a D....
Michael SWhen dropping off it is totally confusion with the app and how it works on your phone. It took me at least an hour to check out also to the information we inputted was not correct. And I received less amount that I was looking forward to.

William DSpent 30 minutes on the phone arguing because they accused me of not returning the truck (I chose the night drop off option). Said the needed to review the cameras, asked did I have someone else return it/ claimed the keys were not in the night slot/ was being rude. And come to find out they had already re-rented the truck to someone else. And of course all I get was an apology and the excuse was the lady is new. You should research before you make accusations and get people pissed off! Smh.

felcity nEverything should not be done online everyone is not computer savvy and returning after closing hours were very difficult to older customers. Because of this I will be charged extra for returning.
mike hI had a great experience with my storage unit. The facility was also very clean and the entire staff is great. They also helped me with a truck rental to get me into my new place. I will definitely use this location again whenever needed and highly recommend it.

SETH PReserved appliance dolly weeks in advance for our move, they did not have one. Asked for utility dolly, they did not have one either. They did not even care about the inconvenience. They did not allow enough miles for the move and return of the truck and again did not give a damn!!! Totally unprofessional attitude as we were moving for a new employment position. I will NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN!!!

ANTONIO CWe requested rental from San Pedro Ave because we are inner city. We were forced to come way out on the deep Westside adding $75 to our fuel cost and over an hour of awful traffic time. Experience was a nightmare. People were fine.

Staff saw that I was walking around and no assistance given at all when dropping the keys. You can barely see where to drop the keys if there could be a bigger sign stating drop keys here.
Christian RJust I rented the truck at 11.00 am on Thursday July 11 2024 requested a two rental through Saturday July 13 2024 was told I had to return it by 7am on that Saturday wasn't sure why I was not able to return it back at 11 am since I had payed for a 48 hr rental including insurance coverage for the full two days seams like it should have been prorated since that was there condition me being able to rent it on that day nonetheless the service was great the customer service representative was very professional and courteous great service other than that minor issue.

jacob mMultiple team members greeted me at equipment return and immediately jumped into action! They scrubbed the cab exterior of bugs/dirt, paying particular attention to windshield and mirrors. They then moved to the interior, cleaning windshield, door glass, wiping down the entire dash & seats. Check-in was quick and efficient; the staff is a remarkable, well-oiled machine.

When I tried to get help, NO ONE returned my call. The management NOT the regional management. That is the exact reason I left & went to another facility. When I give access to my account for auto payments, it is a covenant of trust. It is NOT meant to give unfettered access to my personal bank account to withdraw the monthly payment at random times as it disturbs my ability to budget. This needs to be improved.
