I was charged for equipment I didn't use and for gas that I already put in the truck before drop off. I would recommend the after hours drop off to check everything accurately, as of now I'm waiting on my money to be refunded back on my card which has been over 24hrs and I was told it would be released immediately.

UHaul is a joke! I had scheduled to pick up at two different locations. The 1st was sending me 45 min out of the way to even pick up the truck and the 2nd on Ann Street no one was even there nor would they answer the phone. Once we found the location on Eastern Blvd through Google I had to pitch a fit to even get a truck. Then the rep booked it as in town rental rather than me returning the truck to my home town 92 miles away we had to return the truck back to Montgomery charging me an extra $70 for over mileage rate. This is RIDICULOUS!!!! I WILL NOT be using UHAUL again!!!

Better customer service while showing sensitivity and professionalism. I was charged for a dozen furniture pads, while giving six. I was charged $175 for equipment substitution for reason l don't understand. I returned the truck within 2 days of dispatch, but the account indicates a balance. In addition, it appeared that it took a uhaul representativ more than 4 hours to dispatch a truck to me. This experience was below average. My reservation was made May 22, 2019. The pickup was changed from you one location to another for reason not clear. When I called to confirm pickup at the 4243 Inn South Ave., Montgomery, AL, 8:00 A.M. I was told come at 11:00 A.M. instead. The experience was actually very poorly.

Not charge someone for another day because the person who checks in the vehicles decides to do their job late. If I'm there before time and they check it in 20mins after getting the keys why should I pay extra for it? Also send the receipts on time I noticed the extra charge from the bank then the receipt comes over 2hrs later.

1. I used a pick up truck before to haul a lot of dirt. This time - same thing- I hauled a load of dirt and This time I got charged a cleaning fee. Yes there was dirt in the bed of the truck - that’s why I need to borrow the truck (I told them what i needed the truck for and no one said a thing). First time - I told them same thing - guy says no issues -‘haul what you want. THATS WHY I RENTED THE TRUCK. AnyWay - person at store was not helpful at all. I tried to express check in - when I arrived and asked her if I could express check in - she said we don’t have express check in here. Very unhelpful from the start. FINALLY- when I received my receipt via email yesterday and sent and email questioning the charge —- NO REURN ANSWER YET. I called the store which I guessed transferred me to corporate - and I asked to speak to Mgr of store — person said they would have Mgr call me back. NO CALL BACK. SO-yeah-ID SAY YOU HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER AND I WILL ALSO SNARE MY EXPERIENCE WIRH THEM. Besides the cleaning fee - UHAUL- you failed miserably in the communication and customer service piece. I’d paid the $25 if things were handled appropriately.

The person that checked me in was on his cell phone the entire time!!! He had his ears buds in so he forgot to give me my boxes and tape. After completing the reservation he gave me the keys and told me to find the truck outside!!!

Not to include the dolly unless the customer wants one. It was in my way and I had to move it off the truck and was charged for it. I had 2 moving dollies and my own dolly. I have not yet gotten my emailed receipt either. They did not check it in with me. I waited for them outside as the sign said too and had to go in. Once inside I was told to leave the key in the truck and I have not heard back from them since. No idea what my final bill is.

Given misinformation during reservation. My vehicle had broke down and I had to call a lyft to get to uhaul that customer service representative told me that everything I needed would be there. Once dropped off, I was told I was at the wrong location. Then once the customer service representative reached out to the other store, I received a reservation for the other store location. I didn’t have a ride or any help although I had been told that everything I needed would be at the location I got dropped off at.

That the clerk will go with the customer to do an overall check on the vehicle being rented. I should've went back in to let the clerk see the gas fuel being at 1/2 and not 5/8. I was charged almost an additional $12 due to me putting the gas back where it was before.

Great experience. Love being able to do most of the process online to save time in the store. Only "complaint" was the truck had a strong body odor smell from previous rentals. Might consider some auto air fresheners.

My initial drop off location was on Ann St. I called the day before and the morning of drop off, never got an answer and no one was there when we pulled up at 10:45. I called and got my drop off location moved to East Blvd and was thrilled. I was helped immediately and they were very friendly and helpful unloading the trailer.

Well, the location and appearance of the business is very good, but you need to improve on cusyo.er service tremendously. I don't know if it was the time that I picked up or what, but there wasn't enough help to assistance you with picking up a uhaul vehicle when I went into to business there was more than one person to appear to be there but only one was there to assist the customer w/pick up.of the rental and his attitude was somewhat sarcastic as if he had an attitude for even having to be there. Clearly he needed more help because a line had started to develop. Returning the rental went much better there was more help to assist the customer, then wait time was shorter. I love the location spot and that there was plenty of supplies for you move. Or storage. Thanks

Crystal was very helpful and a pleasure to work with when I came in to rent the car carrier. She had a thorough knowledge of the equipment and a very pleasant personality. Although I didn't catch her name, the young lady that handled the return of the equipment that afternoon, was also very peasant and I was in and out quickly. Over all this was one of the smoothest rental processes I've had with U-haul and both ladies are to be commended for the way they discharged their duties. The trailer was also in excellent condition and worked perfectly.

Truck rented did not have the same amount of mileage on it as the paperwork reflected. Also, overheard workers talking about another problem with another truck rented when I was renting my truck. So it seems that there is a problem with either the vehicles or the computer system at this location. Waiting for a call in regards to my dispute over the mileage charge.

i always used U-Haul I picked a truck up today and it drove horrible only to find out the rubber on the back inner tire was coming off I call the store and told them about the tire when I brought the truck back very early and told the clerk she stated that is why we send you a text before you drive off the lot it is your responsibility to get on the ground and check the tires and the truck I will never use U-Haul again and for the clerk to make it seem as if you had a blow out it would be your fought not U-Haul very bad customer service tasha

We attempted to pick up our reserved truck at the Mt Meigs location as told to. No truck. Had to drive over to Woodmere (which was our original location to pick up truck, but we were told they had no truck and to go to Mt Meigs. Then our work help we reserved through your website failed to show up. MISERABLE experience. Cost us money, Time, Energy and we had to handle the entire move by ourselves. We are 60 years old. After I had made all the prior arrangements on your website and confirmed ALL of them multiple times in advance. We would certainly expect a refund for all of the trouble.

Access to the parking lot and location are little bit tricky. The roads to get there are small and difficult to navigate once you are off the property. Not exactly a Uhaul issue, but I imagine there is something that could be done to help the customer with entry and exit.

Wonderful and helpful in getting an additional unit and the manager even walked us to show us where it was. The place was immaculately clean; even the bathrooms were spotless.

This was the best plan for me moving and packing .Everyone I came in contact with from u-Haul was awesome.I usually drive 1.000 miles myself.But I cannot do because of my poor physical condition .

Everything was fine except 2 payments made by us were lost by the employees and a lean was put on the unit. We had receipts of payment, but the checks never cleared. It was eventually cleared.
