Anna & Daisy were wonderful, very helpful. I did have to come back in to ask for the hand truck that was paid for but not in the truck. The night before I was to pick up the truck someone else called me to tell me I could not have the 20' truck that I really needed. I booked the truck over a month ago and felt as though I should not have been the one chosen that day to be inconvenienced and had I not said "ok, I will be at State street at 8am" I would have never found out that she also was moving where I had to pick it up, but didn't tell me.

First and foremost, this is my first time using uhaul to move. Secondly, I dislike the discommunicaton not fully explaining particular aspects of the whole rental truck process. I'll never use uhaul again next time I'll hire movers

I waited for 40 minutes outside of the store it opened late Assigned me a vehicle but gave me the wrong keys to the vehicle two times. ( I walked back and forth two times). SMH NOONE

Terrible manager, being unfriendly with no answer to why lock my cube before the due day, and I was paid on time and autopay. In addition, she didn`t refund any rents for extra days.

I was a walked in customer, and the entire rental process took 25 mins. It`s very clearly the manager there didn`t train her employee well. The gentleman helped me doesn`t understand the system, his was literally reading every words to find out what`s the next step. Manger keep hiding in her office and refuse to provide useful help. I presented my driver license, but instead scan in the store, they send me a link and request me do DL upload at the counter. She has very bad altitude to both her customers and employee, during the entire check-out and returning process I have not seen her tried to smile for a second. When return the truck, she even threatening charging me in store return fee if I don`t return the truck online by myself using my phone. I totally defeated the purpose of having a store with employee. I suggest U haul replace all of them with robots or automation service, since these people didn`t perform any better than the UHaul APP.

I returned the Uhaul after about 1.5 hrs yesterday 24 hrs ago and I have not received my bill. I see 2 pending charges and I am concerned that the bill is much more than I estimated. I think the final charges need to be calculated with the customer as how hard can it be to look at the gas mileage etc. I did not put gas in and I estimate maybe 1.5 gal needed which they explained. I accepted the charges as I didn't know the area (just moved here) so I didn't want to drive around looking for a gas station. I should know the final charges if not immediately then within an hour of dropping off the truck.

There was a dial missing from the dash so you could not adjust air flow. The main complaint I have is with the cell phone check in. It claims to be speedy, but I had to wait 15 minutes to get approved after submitting my credentials, and they had to call two of my contacts to confirm my rental. I would much rather do the standard counter check in, I did not have a good experience with the phone check in.

A bit scary.. "just leave the key in the ignition and you will get your bill shortly." $ hours later still no bill. I overfilled gas tank and was under allowed miles and a day early with return. good thing they didn't lend the truck to someone else,,,,.

only problem was i parked truck and waited for person to come out. i had to go into shop and fine someone. she told if i read the sign about online returns. i said yes but didnt care to go online. was very busy trying to get back with move in hassle. i had to tell her i have the truck in with over a half tank full its in the same shape as i rec'd and just gave her the keys..she didnt give me any paper work, didnt check the truck for gas or anything. i had to go on chat line to let them know i dropped it off and if our business is completed officially. chat line told me they will send me an email to confirm our business. it was close to the location closing time and probably was brushed off. other then that the moving went well. one small thing i couldnt get thru phone line about restrictions on lower bridge issues with the height of truck which was 9ft required and had to take a chance on merritt pkwy in connecticut.

I am not happy about the push toward customers doing everything with their phone. I was grateful that staff were willing to help me this time, but concerned that this isn't the plan moving forward. Much is done through phone apps, but for something as infrequent and potentially complicated as renting moving equipment, the human touch is needed. Please don't make this mistake. There are other folks from whom I can rent if U-Haul doesn't allow me to interact with fellow humans. BTW, I am a psychologist and am well aware of the mistakes that are being made, for profit or folly, by those who place machines, computers, or "artificial intelligence" between humans and their other goals. Humans are more comfortable interacting with humans. Humans become frustrated and angry when mishandled, or worse, by technology.

I rented a furniture dolly and a utility dolly, and had to take an extra trip for the furniture dolly because it was not in the truck. The truck initially smelled of cat urine but I had no choice but to use it. The manager of the place never contacted me or reached out about my missing item and extra trip. That is not good customer service. There was a deal for the furniture pads and dolly rental together, but I was unaware of it during the online rental process so when I opened the bag because of the deal reflected on the bag, I got charged separately instead of the 10.00. It's only a few dollars, but unfair to me. Seeing how I had to make an extra uhaul trip due to not receiving my dolly, I think I should have been compensated for something!

Fix pick up procedure. Nightmare. Truck was on 1/4 tank when I picked up. No explanation for anything. Charged WAY too Minh for 1/4 tank. Will never use this service again

The last time I went to uhaul to obtain a new access key & trailer quote to move my stuff out of state, I discovered my room was cleared out without my permission. Also, I need a refund of $115.
