Every Single employee I have dealt with was exceptionally helpful. The sales office is always immaculately neat and organized. They always have what I need. Had a storage unit there (just moved out last week) for two years and never had a problem. The storage building was always clean and well-lit. Not a fan of their carts, but they work and are always available. One thing though, they really need to update their computer system, it's a mess.cheryl s. | Overall Experience
the online uhaul system was a bit annoying to navigate and tried to upsell us, BUT the customer service of the staff at the Wooster Square U-Haul Facility in New Haven, CT was excellent and all the workers deserve a raise and better benefits. Great work! Very chill, friendly, and helpful, even on a busy Saturday with a lot of folks renting vehicles and moving in and out of storage. Compliments to the team at the front desk, on the phone, and who helped with vehicle return. It was great. Quick pickup and really friendly staff. Drop off was even quicker which was great as I was late to catch a train! I did not have time to top off the gas unfortunately and my only negative feedback is that we got charged for 5 gallons of gas at the premium fillup price we expected after we dropped it off even though the receipt clearly shows we only drove 10 miles the entire time we had it rented. I absolutely loved all of the staff , they never stayed longer than 6 kid. Both managers in 3 years were rude and useless. I’ve been stuck on every floor locked out aggervated over charged! Again, for the second time, our u-haul attendant wasn't trained on how to disassemble the vehicle tow. WE had to do it, and we don't work here and we aren't trained to. UHaul needs to do a better job at training their employees. This entire experience was infuriating and we won't be using UHaul again.Kellin C.

Don't assert there is 1/8 of a tank of gas when the tank is nearly empty. We had driven six miles when the empty tank light came on. We bought six gallons of gas for 25 miles of rental and still had the privilege of paying you an extra $14.25 gas charge. Tiffany Cirillo is an epitome of compassion and professionalism. My order was inexplicably cancelled and I did not realize till the day of. I had arranged movers and made arrangements with my new landlords. Everything was about to fall apart when I just showed up at her U-Haul location at 7:00 AM. She immediately understood my situation and jumped right into action with counting return trucks, cleaning and maintaining them so she could get an exact count as quickly as possible. And just like the saying â€œwhere there is a will there is a wayâ€, there was one extra truck on her location. She called the online management and had it assigned to me. The location is good for New Haven local residents; and it is within walking distance from downtown. However, the GPS from Google map misled the location. If you are the 1st time to this location, you need to walk around to find where Uhaul is. It is hidden behind the GPS location and you have to drive around.Chenxi B.

Terrible customer service. Service member detached trailer but failed to check it in, review it for damages, or test the lights (even after I gave him a hefty $20 tip). Once I found my unit and had made the first trip, this facility was great. That being said, I found the overall design to not be intuitive at all. I must say that I am very impressed with this U-haul storage facility. The level of security and the cleanliness of this place is impeccable. When you first walk through the door you can smell the cleanliness in the air. Wish I had rented from U-haul before the storage place I moved from. The place was dark, dingy and had a musty odor . One problem: there was an exit door that appears not to have been disarmed by my entry code, but that did not have a sign to that effect. I used the door and of course set off the alarm.
