Disappointed that after 3-26' trucks one-way from NJ, one one-way (local) for two weeks, one local truck, and a 15x30 storage unit for 4 months that you do not reimburse for unused days of last month. $1000's of dollars and you can't part with $100 for unused space at a time when that unit will be rented very quickly. That said, the manager of the Wurzbach location is exemplary, knowledgeable, helpful, accommodating and downright nice. She should be promoted to lead all SAT locations and train all employees in customer SERVICE.

I've seen this location for years because I live in the area but it wasn't till I saw their amazingly well oiled machine at work that it occurred to me that they never have their fleet cluttering the area, and their property is always neat and tidy. The woman that checked me in was so fast, yet thorough and addresses all my questions and even suggested things I might have forgotten. She easily updated my reservation removing a dolly I was no longer in need of. Had my truck out front in flash and had all the customers commenting on her stellar driving and efficiency. 10 out of 10! Great experience!!

Brenda helped me out so much with renting the truck for our move and with us expecting our first child this ment a lot to us . We had some difficulties with my card and when Brenda called her manager the manager was rude as hell kept talking over us and saying there was an issue with my card and clearly there was no issue ! I would like to give all complements and thanks to Brenda for helping us out in our time of need it's workers like her that keep the company going ! Thank you Brenda !!

The first day i tried to get the uhaul was the worst experience i ever had with uhaul. The lady was EXTREMELY rude and not helpful at all. I used the mobile phone service which said the truck i reserved was outside the gate but in fact it was not. After an hour of arguing outside the door with her in the rain she finally went to get the truck i reserved but then immediately cancelled it when she got to the desk. Second day with a different girl was MUCH MUCH better and she was very helpful.

I needed to change my drop-off location after I had picked up the truck. I called the general line and they kept saying to go to the website to change my rental, but it turns out I could not change it on the website. I had to change it over the phone, so the recording was misleading.

I had a reservation for 5am pick up. I get there and follow the instructions given for my pick up, that wasn't working so I called customer service and they inform me the online system was down so I had to go back 30-45 minutes later. Fine not a problem, go back at 6 and follow all given instructions and the message I got after check in was box 3 code LEOS. I am walking around the building looking for lock box 3, call customer service AGAIN and they have no idea where the lock boxes can be and couldn't get ahold of the manager since it was only 6:30 am and the facility didn't open until 7am. I waited there for an hour for them to open and the rep at the store tells me she had left instructions on my account that the keys were in back of the truck and there was a combo lock on the back of the truck. 2 hours of my time wasted with wrong instructions from your online services.

An employee named Toni made dropping off the U-Haul at this location an unpleasant experience. First, she locked herself in there with a customer and i didn't mind at first. I patiently waited for Toni to attend me. I gave her the keys and there was a misunderstanding about where I should've filled the tank. I had to show her the paperwork where they highlighted the desired gas line. She seemed irritated to go back and recheck. She said her boss said it was okay, but she restated that it was still below the line. She wanted to be right, so I just let her have it. (The door also was never locked again.) I put on a scented hand sanitizer on while waiting. She then asked me if i put perfume on and i said it was hand sanitizer. She opened the door to air out the office. Toni started saying she was getting a headache and that it bothered her because she said she has asthma. I told her I have asthma too, so i didn't understand the need for the situation to be made into a big deal in front of other customers.

Everyone was very good to me, from beginning to end, and they managed for my specific and particular truck type and timing extensions needs. There was however, always a line to get thru, so it would be nice if more people were working, but I'm not blaming U-Haul. I think most Americans simply aren't willing to work anymore.

I rented a van online, paid and when I got there he said if no credit card is available then you can rent a truck which costs more and use debit card. Makes no sense but I needed help asap. I had used uhaul a month ago and no credit card was needed at another location. I want a refund for the extra money he made me spend. He said changes were due to the pandemic.

I opted for the mobile check-in, which was terrible. When we arrived, there was no way to enter the facility and we couldn't locate our vehicle. I selected "can't locate vehicle" on my phone and it gave me a new vehicle which was conveniently located outside of the facility so I began the check-in process. Once I got the point where I had to go inside and get the keys, the clerk told me I'd have to wait for that vehicle to be cleaned. The clerk then offered to get another vehicle that didn't need to be cleaned, which we accepted. This process took just as long as it would've taken to clean the original vehicle. The new vehicle was handed off to us with large cardboard pieces in the front seat. In total, we spent about 30 minutes past our checkin time at the UHaul trying to checkin and get our vehicle which put us in worse traffic and and pushed us over an hour past our return time. Definitely never doing the self check-in again.

Customer Service was a joke, no Covid restrictions, sanitation, or masks in the stores by employees or other guests. When I booked online it gave one time frame and price and when I got to pick up, the time to return was changed and the amount I had to pay changed. Neither one lined up correctly.

Needed a storage unit for a couple of months at the most but everywhere I checked out was only offering 6-12 month leases for storage units. Ended up checking out uhaul’s storage rates and settled on the perfect sized unit. Not only did they offer a monthly rental basis, but they had a lot of different sized units to choose from, unlike other places where you get 2 or 3 sizes maximum. Was also able to get the option for climate control, which was great. The entire process was online, from reserving the unit, to checking in and bypassing the line at the desk with a lock waiting for me inside the unit when I arrived. 10/10-would highly recommend

I was over charger $39.99 because I had previously made a reservation from 7am-3pm and Call the location ask them if I could have 2 more hours they said no. So, I decided to call 800 number uhaul spoke with some polite agents I spoke to three today all professional agents. Who verify to me and extend my reservation 3-6pm. But, the check out agent on Parkdale San Antonio Texas 78299 lied to us about the additional charge of $39.99 her response was I need to charger you because we lost a customer wow but customer service was understanding and fix the problem. Thank you To all agents working the call centers position keeping do a phenomenal job!

They gave me a upper locker when they were lower lockers easily accessible and vacant. I dropped a box in 10 minutes later when I noticed I asked if they can get it for me because everything requires a card swipe and they claimed there was no box but they were look at the cameras to see if it was an employee who picked it up or another customer. I never got my $3,000 engagement ring bag or heard about it again. At one point when I couldn't find my storage key I attempted to open it with bolt cutters and no one stopped me or asked me for verification that it was my unit. All the card swipes and cameras are nothing more but an illusion of security because they don't even review the cameras to see if someone's breaking in or to locate and drop the package breaking it in or to locate a dropped package. I never thought so much to go wrong on a simple storage unit but everything that could have went wrong went wrong with this U-Haul storage and I will not be returning.

First place I was told to go didn't have a truck for me. Got a new location to pick up the truck. Had to walk there because I was dropped off by an Uber at the first location. Got to the new location and was trying to tell the clerk what had happened and got a response “not my problem, take it up with uhaul.” I was taken back a little by this because I thought I was dealing with uhaul. At least that's what her uniform said. Vary unprofessional. I felt like I was being hurried out of there because she didn't wasn't to hear my complaint.
