This location is always busy and the staff is nice and friendly from start to hook up all of 15 minutes! Drop off was another story but not their fault as the Uhaul system was down, again that didn’t stop this team.

very helpful and friendly staff, all issues i have are with the location itself relative to the road. getting out on the road is a mess. on the sunoco side, there's a uhaul sign in the corner of the property that blocks view of traffic from the right.

Young man named Danny was very efficient with doing the paperwork, got me in and out very fast. He came out and assisted hooking up. The trailer, made sure it was hooked up properly and explained to me how to hook it up if I had to disconnected and reattach it general manager, Philip, who I spoke to on the phone was more than accommodating professional. I would definitely recommend this facility to friends and family.

The app didn’t work, then I got charged for gas after I put $30 of gas in the truck and only drove 42 miles, definitely not right. I put more gas in than what I used and they still charged almost $10 more in gas

this is the first time I had to complete a self drop off, including photos. it was terrible. It was pouring rain and a tornado warning and I was outside trying to take pictures of this trailer - completely pountless, annoying, and borderline dangerous. A cell phone camera doesn't even work in the rain I had to take several rounds of photos and then just submitted garbage. You need a better way.

Your fuel chart to help renters to fill your rental is a scam and will be reported. Don’t scam people. The chart is set to give you more gas than when you initially rent it. We pay enough as it is, you don’t need to to scam customer on gas money too. A small refund would be in order here. I even mentioned it to the guy at the return and by his reaction, I wasn’t the first to say it.

Uhaul storage off Roosevelt Ave York was great!The Manager was great after a mix up when we were leaving i was charged after talking to them it was reversed before I was off phone really appreciated there quick service!Always curttious.When I hurt my back unloading forgot to put my lock on they called me that evening and locked the rest of my stuff up great customer service!

This is our ninth time renting a U-Haul. Philip and his team make sure that when we leave and come back that we are totally satisfied with our experience and is very open by asking if we have any problems or anything to update on the trucks the check-in people are very courteous totally enjoyed our experience with U-Haul and Philip and his team

Make sure that the customers first reservation doesn’t have to be changed due to there being no trucks. Then make sure that where the reservation gets changed to also has trucks, and isn’t 2 hours after the originally scheduled time. I reserved a uhaul at 7 am at one location just to be switched to another for a 9am pickup just to have to call customer service because my truck wasn’t there and then had to switch locations again and didn’t receive my truck until almost 10 am which but my entire moving day behind by almost 3 hours. I paid a lot of money and all i got was an I’m sorry and $50 for not having the guaranteed reservation but i honestly don’t feel that was enough.

The return section was full, and there were trucks there with advertisements on the windshield indicating that those were there prior to closing. It would’ve been nice if there was more room for us to park the truck.

We were not provided with the furniture pads we requested and still charged for them, but the pickup and drop off process was pretty easy. Truck was great! Clean, drove well, and all overall of decent experience. I would like reimbursed the extra $10 for the missing furniture pads, but customer service wait times are ridiculous. I don’t see another place to request a refund!

The employee in the office who serviced me did an exceptional job - he is noticeably understaffed, myself and others store in a very long line. He handles it very well and never shows any frustration. But I feel bad he is under that much pressure as I manage retail I know how it feels. The outside employees are excellent as well.

App worked for dropoff. HOWEVER, I wanted to change to a closer location in the same town. New place said they could accept trailer, but neither dropoff location, the app or 1-800 call could confirm that no added charges would occur. Wasted 10 min on phone with 1-800 center, then still drove to farther center since no one could confirm free dropoff at new location. If the app could do that, it would’ve been great- confirm new location is ok and confirm no added charges, or estimate added charges, or deny alternative dropoff site

I was charged $12 for a dolly. None were available. I was told a refund would be submitted. It was not. I called and requested refunds for it and a missing blanket. I was refunded for a blanket that was returned a day late but never received the refund for the $12.

Good Morning, I waited several days to forward the pictures of the situation we discussed regarding the inability to gain access to my handicapped locker in addition to my car being parked in by trucks and cars in the peeking kit. Do you all has been returned, clean and parked in the first fm stall on the opposite side of your office door. As per our verbal agreement on Monday morning you stated my two months of locker payment were adjusted by Apple Pay @ $30. $ 30.01. That is an adjustment for only having the largest , handicapped ( 1st floor ) located your staff failed to secure the smaller locker provided as a part of your new promotion. In addition you stated there would be no charges for the current U- Haul that I could not return it due to my job until Wednesday night. As the pictures do indicate the gas had been correctly replaced, and the other factors associated with returning a truck after renting! I also am including the key drop and additional photos for your reference , so as the Manager you can adjust your operations to a more efficient and build your career. Thank you for patiently addressing my concerns and I do feel I was fairly compensated. Extremely stressful occurrence which I genuinely feel, for both of us. I of course will need to rent another truck as a result of the change in my career and downward health spiral. Let me know if I can offer any professional advice that may assist you in resolving your issues and provide you with hiring resources etc. The photos are failing to load so will forward under separate text. NEED to have SAFER EXIT ..as it is at a bend in road..cars speeding and cannot see them coming! Yellow calming lite or warning that there is an entrance/exit!

I started out with slightly over a 1/2 tank of gas. I went 70 miles and put in over 5 gallons of gas, just to be safe. The dashboard indicated that when I started, the vehicle was averaging 15.9 MPG. When I ended, the vehicle was averaging 16 MPG, a slight bump up but nonetheless a bump up, not a bump down. After I put gas in the tank, it indicated there was more gas in the vehicle then when I started. So why would U-Haul charge me for a gallon of gas?

I used this location a few times in the past and had no issues. I would have given them The rental was sa 5 for my past experience. I rented a 20 foot truck on Saturday for 9ZA. When I got there there was a line of about 20 people. Everyone was being told to load you app and get their trucks. I could not load the app do to a password issue I am having with Apple. I finally got the the truck at around 10:30PM. When I got to the desk they could not find the truck and did not have an 20's. They began moving me to a 15 ft and then found a truck and then moved me back to it. I am moving from Gettysburg, PA and had to drive to York to get a vehicle because Gettysburg did not have any equipment available. I moved almost all of my home by myself, but due to the delay I did not get done till 10:30PM and then had to drive an hour back to Gettysburg. I tried to return the truck and key at 10:30PM but the sign said you had to do it in the app and you just cannot drop the key in the late return box or you will be charged something. This made me have to drive back to York on Sunday Morning before 9AM to give them the key and close the rental. I saw many frustrated people trying to rent and being forced to use an app that at best is a little buggy. When I got to the counter for the pick-up, it was very obvious that at least 2 people that were at the desk had no idea how to handle entering the rental and they would frequently stop midstream and start telling the folks in line that they need to go to the app to get their rental. They would come back start again and then say just a minute and then would run down the line and say the app thing again. They did this about 5 times before a individual who had 20 years with Uhaul cleared the person he was working and had me sit down to get the truck. This was my worst experience with Uhaul.

My cargo van rental was scheduled for 8AM on a Sunday. This location opens their door at 9AM. My rental does not have keys in the same lock box as the truck, so I would need to wait for the doors to open to speak to an employee and get the support I needed. I was upgraded to a truck and supplied with what I needed through the Customer Service phone line, but the app itself did not allow me to return to the screen which explained where to find the vehicle number in the parking lot. I had to wait for the doors to open, to speak to someone, and get the support I needed. Customer Service acknowledged the process was problematic. The location is convenient to me and I've rented a vehicle in the past, which is why I would recommend it to a friend, but I would tell them if they booked a reservation online, they should call the location to verify the process of picking up the key and where the key would be stored. Otherwise, they will be waiting for the store to open to get the key and start moving.

Moving can be stressful but when you have Maurice as an employee at the front counter, he makes your moving day a breeze. I had a bad experience this last time I rented a truck with them because at the end they charged me more and they didn’t let me know why. I received the truck empty of gas ⛽️ and I returned it at the amount they requested so why they charged extra money???

I received an email a day or two before the rental date stating all pick ups and returns are now online. I arrived for pick up and didn’t realize there were several additional steps I needed to complete ahead of time. That took a while to figure out. The online return was very long and not user friendly.. if I need to rent a truck in the future I would probably seek a different company due to the cumbersome online process. U-Haul has in place.

Get more inside help. The poor guy helping was trying to wait on three of us at same time and there was a line beyond that. Staff was very helpful. Wish I had been told the ball size I needed in advance and that I would need an electrical adapter when I made rhe reservation. I paid much more than I expected having to purchase all the extras.

I am technically challenged but the cashier helped me with the app and checking in. I dislike that everything is online and on apps. It's so impersonal but kudos for the help! I had to search the lot for the rental truck in pouring rain, which was not in the lot but still parked in the maintenance area, which I could not access. Had to go back in the store and have an employee help track the truck down. He finally found it and brought it out for us. It had no gas so we had to immediately fill up.

I repeatedly got alerts that I hadn’t paid my unit and that I was locked from getting in despite paying ahead of time every payment. The explanation was “that happens sometimes just ignore it”. My keycard kept locking me out even with swiping out everytime. My door alarm would not shut off and ran for at least 5 minutes at one point with no response from staff. When moving out I found mouse droppings on top of multiple boxes of mine.

I drove from UHaul in Graham, Nc. The truck was awful, it leaked rain over my boxes, it was rough and loud. The man at the Uhaul facility was horrible. I will never use a Uhaul truck except for very local use. The Yotk, PA facility was good.

My main problem is the cost. I was charged $148 a month for a 5×8 unit because it was on the first floor. For 3 months my stuff was there and a friend of mine was telling me about Extra Space Storage, I spoke to someone who said they have a 10× 6 unit for $31 a month which is very reasonable and it's on the first floor. I am very happy there. U-Haul is a ripoff!!!!!

Phillip was outstanding. They were extremely busy but Phillip gave you his full attention as s if you were the only customer in the store. Great personality and very knowledgeable. Also spoke with Job, who I dealt with during a previous truck rental, he is always professional and helpful. The staff works well together and makes the environment comfortable. This is my first storage rental unit with U-Haul and at this point they have been top notch.

The unit I was assigned was as far from the door as possible in the building, I needed to remember an inconvenient access code which needed to be entered every time I wanted to go in. The worst part is that there were two roll up doors for loading/unloading when I rented the unit and they removed one and put up a cement block wall leaving only 1 access point. I went to get large items out of my unit 4 times waiting hours for other people to finish and move so I could gain access totaling 10 hours of wasted time. Dreadful experience.

The staff was great . Everything seemed very easy to operate and understand . I did see roaches in the storage unit it's all wood inside not sure if it's easier to infest then metal but I did see a roach right on the door when I opened it up. Unfortunately I had no choice but to move it in or I wouldn't have had the truck back in time .

All the staff I came in contact with were nice but all the office staff employees seem to need more training and experience because I paid cash for services I didn’t need and now have to wait days for reimbursement on my debt card which makes no sense since I paid with cash. Storage area was ok but the rental of the truck was a disaster first off I had to find the vehicle myself when it wasn't in the assigned parking spot and the guy sent out a guy to look for it and he came back in and started taking care of customer like I was a nobody and the vehicle was wrecked I went back in right away and reported it and the guy said take pictures but I'm sure we are aware of it he said and he said bring it back on half tank of gas and it was not on a half tank to begin with so took a picture of that with the mileage so they try and say I put more miles on it then what I did and also it wasn't even cleaned out it smelled like cow poop and in the front was dusty and leaves and dirt all over the floor and the passenger side seat looks like it had marijuana or dryed something on the seat so in my in my defense they didn't do anything to it at all I got it as is

Employees offered wonderful customer service. While Uhaul the company offered zero customer service and forced me to hire a locksmith to service the unit and the lock that I paid UHAUL for service. The company who’s product failed, forced a paying polite customer to spend $135+ to service YOUR UNIT/PRODUCT. I didn’t rent a unit from a locksmith. I didn’t pay a locksmith for the UHAUL lock that immediately jammed. I didnt put my credit card and personal info on anyone else’s business account but yours UHAUL Your employees were helpful, but horrifically ill informed. Two employees agreed I could buy bolt cutters and deal with the failed lock myself. Your management is so greedy with knowledge ( to hold a totalitarian state) that neither (pleasant) employees was educated enough to tell a HIGHLY UPSET PAYING CUSTOMER. Thattttt, NO sir you cannot do that. It’s against policy, no bolt cutters won’t work. Not a word. Clearly poor management. So I'm not only in the hole for UHALS failed lock, also the unit. Which UHAUL refuses to service? Seriously? Its your bloody product. I'm now $325+ in the hole for 48hrs of tragic service/failed product. Your employees also kindly informed me I could get a refund. Before 30days of “service” expired. So I'm irrate to say the least.

The wall in unit 7004 needs to be repaired on the right hand side near the floor, the cement is falling off. Uhaul corporate needs to help Staff to know what exactly the size of each unit can hold. The young lady who opened my account looked on your site & tried to find the info out but it doesn’t explain/identify that clearly. For example, a 10x15x6 unit can fit a one to two bedroom apartment/home?! Yes/No?! Or is appropriate for a one bedroom apartment? I ended up not using your facility because you couldn’t tell me that and that was vital to knowing if my items could fit. That is a MAIN point of improvement and also it would be nice if you can let staff know what size can fit as noted above. The young lady was professional helpful and kind & I appreciated that.

I would have rated this higher. But I booked my storage a week before my move. Unloaded my stuff to find out my storage room 1018 has a lock on it. My stuff is sitting in the hallway waiting for the lock smith to show up he seems to be busy these days because it been almost 24 hours. Also I questioned why My Im being charged 10x10 rate while my storage is 8x8. I was told the price board was incorrect. It also seem that the website is incorrect too. Bottom line I've been overcharged for a storage room, while my expensive stuff sits in the hallway.

I like the facility in Colorado much better. This one is not az well-lit nor maintained.us the one in Colorado is climate controlled. Also, I oy need a 5x5 but had to take and pay for one two sizes bigger. Also, this one is not as convenient as my other one but just as pri ey. However, we needed to inload our trailer right away.

The person who took care of us did as much as they had to do. Not very customer friendly. I also asked about a mouse problem since there was a big sticky mouse trap in the storage unit I was renting. I was told there wasn’t a problem. The only problem was the sticky mouse trap got stuck to one of my boxes and it cannot be removed no matter how much you pull at it. It seems to me there is a problem or there wouldn’t have been a mouse trap in my storage unit to begin with. One more thing to worry about.

Supervisor was very disrespectful with my wife and when appropriately and respectfully approached about, he had a seemingly "i dont care" attitude and didnt even as much apologize or even try to understand his wrong doing. His only response was "ok" when I explained the situation that I wasn't there for and how criticizing a customer who didn't hear you for legitimate reasons is wrong. He simply walked away to avoid something he was wrong for which is completely unprofessional and he shouldn't be in a position he doesn't deserve with that negative attitude. I'm a 14 and ongoing army vet, I shouldn't have to worry about my wife having that kind of situation while I'm out with my daughter. If I trust you enough to do business with you for over a year with storage and utilize your vehicle services why do I need to worry about her going into your facility and dealing with your employees? Do I need to go in from now on to fend for myself just to do business?

There was only one time during my unit rental that I was two days late on a payment. I honestly had forgotten about it as the due date was over a weekend. I received an email about it and quickly called and made a payment as well as set up for auto pay. The thing that upset me is that in that time (two days...first time late) they had already sent letters to BOTH of my contact people about me not paying. That's when I decided to up my timeline and get moved out before paying anymore. Everything else was great, but that seemed a bit harsh and quick.

Storage unit was very clean. Well lit. They supply a Dolly to move your possessions from door to storage unit. I like that they had dehumidifiers operating.
