Although there are 3 Uhaul locations in my town, there was no effort made to fulfill my reservation. Instead the location was changed to the next city at the last minute and the discourteous representative tries to BS me with "it's only five minutes away". Sorry even Google maps says 22 minutes and 12 miles. Now about the equipment. I rented a 5x8 trailer and have to say this was the noisiest thing I've ever had to drag around out of 3 boat trailers, a 10k lbs camper, and a 7x12 cargo trailer. Maybe this poor little thing doesn't really need 10 ply truck tires.

I don't like that the 17' track was represented as 17' when the floor of the box was only 14'. Other companies with a straight box would've been represented as the length of the floor of their box.

Unfortunately, the electricity had gone out just before we arrived to pick up. Power had been out for an hour. If we had not arrived when we did, our wait would have been very long as there was only one person working the rental desk. We were second on line. There were about 10 after us. The staff there handled the situation well and were very helpful. Customers had all arrived at once. They are to be commended for their professionalism.

The initial experience, the day we went to pick up the truck was a delightful and very good experience. The two gentlemen that were there were very courteous and professional. Unfortunately, I can't say the same thing for when we went back to return the truck. The staff person (same guy from the night before) was there and treated me well. Unfortunately, he entered an extra # and for that reason my bill came to an outrageous amount. The machine was charging $800 some dollars just for mileages. He tried to fix it and he couldn't so we went to get the so o call Manager of the store Mr. Jacob Cligget. OMG, Mr. Cligget kept me waiting an hour and half because apparently they invoice didn't wanted to print. As if that was not enough, although he was keeping me waiting without a good explanation he was taking care of other customers, I surprised myself of how calm and quite I was because any other day I would have been all over him but I was quite until I told him that truly I couldn't wait anymore and that it was ridiculous that I was there for more than an hour just to get an invoice. He came back at me all very unprofessionally, rude and disrespectful and told me that it was not his fault that the invoice didn't wanted to print, that they were working on it and that there was nothing he could do. When I asked who was they he replied the tech people. At that time I got upset by his rudeness and told him that I was there quietly and patiently waiting for him and that he had no right to treat me like that because I was the one that was there waiting for more than an hour and not one apology came from his mouth or any type of options to try to resolve the matter was offered to me. I even told him that it was a shame that he was the manager, because he was very unprofessional and he should go and take some customer service training with his employees who were the only ones who were asking how things were going and were trying to keep me happy at all times. As a matter of fact one of them was in the front and after 30 minutes came from outside and said you are still here? I left the place an hour and half later, without the invoice, without an apology from the manager, and with just a response from him that he didn't know when the receipt was going to be available to me. Very bad customer service skills from Mr. Jacob Cligget. Send to get some training. Otherwise, you will lose business. People like that only give a bad image and name to your company.
