ANTHONY C.The truck I reserved was two hours late. The truck I reserved had a cut seatbelt when it arrived. The truck I reserved had 1/4 tank of gas when it arrived. All of these issues were resolved by the excellent Manager Sergio Martinez, and I was able to complete the job I was renting the truck for. Make sure you hold on to Sergio Martinez and supply him with more employees and training for the other workers in this location.

I was not told the trailer I rented had permanent plates mounted on the fender area so that option is now impossible with that trailer. Henry H.The location was fine but the over all service was terrible. Not in agoura. I was supposed to get my truck trailer at 3 close to my house. An hour before I got a call asking to return the truck early because there was someone who wanted it for a week. I said I can't. Then right before I went to get it they called and said I need to to go to agoura. This was at least 50 miles out of the way. It screwed up my order and I ended up not being able to leave and had the items longer than I needed. It was very time consuming and cost me a lot extra with the time and all the extra Miles. So I am going to budget for my final moving truck.

JONATHAN B.This location has some insane employees. I rented a van for 3 hours and traded it for a larger truck and was billed $57,000!!! I have received 8 invoices from this location and the manager, Sergio. To this day, two months later, I am still receiving invoices. There is something seriously wrong with the way that they do business and bookkeeping. I've had to call the corporate office five times to try to intervene. I don't even know what to say about this location at this time. I've been there numerous times over the past 10 years and this is the first time that it's been this chaotic with the bookkeeping. I'm actually working with American Express about this merchant.

MICHAEL U.I felt very unsafe driving the truck. The steering was so bad you couldn't keep the truck in the lane because it would swerve uncontrollably over 30mph. By the time i realized how bad it was it was full and just had to drive it extremely cautiously.

Somehow they made it happen. I think there is something wrong with the on line booking system. Allows for overbooking . You can't do that to people . Moving day is stressful. Takes a lot of planning . I had 4 movers showing up at my house and almost did not have a truck .

VICTORIA V.So far with using the Uboxes, the process lacks a system. There really is no way to track your shipment and for anyone to tell you when it's shipping. I think there are some areas to improve on system and tracking, when your dealing with people valueables these things are very important to them.

This location is great but the equipment was old and faulty and I had actually asked for a smaller less expensive trailer but they wanted me to take the older and larger one. Made no sense at all. Hitch was old and warm out and probably not fastened correct. Bounced around and made very loud noises. I brought it back early as it seemed a danger hazard
TORSTEN K.Hire more people so that rental and return doesn't take 1/2 hour. Put signs up to tell people where to park. Also - this is not necessarily the fault of this location, but Uhaul bait-n-switch pricing is pretty bad. I drove the rental van 33 miles: was charged $30 for mileage and then on top of that $15 for gas. So, my $20 rental (for a couple of hours) wound up being $65. Just be up front about the price and include the gas in your mileage charge!

PAUL B.I am very disgusted with Uhaul. I had a very bad experience and I will tell everyone I know how poorly I was treated by corporate Uhaul. I made a reservation online to pick up my truck at 5pm on Sunday, and when I got there at 5pm, they had just closed!!!! There was no way to get another truck. WHY would Uhaul allow me to rent a truck at 5pm when the store was closed!! It shows a terrible lack of careing for their customer. It caused a HUGH problem and a loss of at least $2,000 for me because it was a large commercial client that needed to be moved ONLY on a weekend night from the commercial building and the new location that they were moving to would allow them to only move into the new location on the following weekend! I find it hard to believe that someone at Uhaul could not figure out how to program the reservation system to either show me that the store closes at 5pm or simply just not allow me to reserve a truck at 5pm when the store was already closed. I can't wait to tell everyone I know how terrible and lame Uhaul is and doesn't care enought about their customers. I was only offered a $50 refund, which does NOT come close to the $2,000 that I am obligated to pay my commercial client for the extra rent that they are obligated to pay to their current landlord because they were down sizing to a cheaper/smaller location. I was very polite on the phone to the lady, Keona at the central phone center on Sunday night when I called for help. She did everything she could but when I asked to be transfer to speak to a supervisor the phone rang for 20 times and the supervisor the call just stopped ringing- so it was obvious to me that the supervisor was just NOT interested in me. I just can't wait to tell everyone i know about this experience with Uhaul

There were al least 2 or 3 workers there filling about 17 propane tanks while we just waited. They needed to have someone in the office to deal with customers. Very unhappy......

James P.I was told that the hand truck was included in the truck rental. Then, I got charged $7 per day for the hand truck that was already installed in the truck. You should comp me for the hand truck, considering the 200 miles a $1.19 per mile U-Haul made a haul on my two day use of the truck.

I had walked away from the counter, and had returned to find him moving the recycled boxes that I had brought to the counter two minutes prior. He did not identify himself as an employee as our interaction began. He was impatient and borderline rude. I had to ask him if he was a staff member. He was impatient and borderline rude to me, but got slightly better as we proceeded through the transaction.

Daniel L.Trying to check in on your website was the WORST. You should have told me to allow some extra time and appropriate lighting to take pictures of my face and my drivers license for uploading. Also, the “acceptable additional documentation†for proving identity is a joke. My passport is expired (pandemic, remember?) I don't have a lease agreement because I OWN MY HOME. Fortunately I had contact information for a trusted person available, but really, what kind of insurance is that for you, anyway? I didn't like that I had to share my location with you on my phone because I have location sharing off and I had to dig through some menus to find out how to share it with you. The vehicle was very nice, the on-site staff was fine, but if you want to encourage people to check-in via your website you need to at least tell them what that check-in will entail.

JORGE R.Everything was good but I feel like the requirements of the gas tank could've been explained. I was under the impression either I make sure the gas gauge is returned the same as I got it or I pay the price per gallon. So I put some gas in and still had to pay for the miles I drove.
