The person who checked us out was lethargic and bland. He did not seem to like his job. He was competent, though. The 3 employees at the Agoura location (on Sunday morning 9am 8/11/19), were all outstanding workers. They were very efficient and courteous and on the ball at 9am on a Sunday! Fantastic team. Truck was great and final invoice was correct!

Mobile app reservations no longer process credit card payments or authorizations; requires credit card to be present at check out - this will not work for mobile check outs. When I returned vehicle I was asked to go back to the counter yet again for credit card check out. I just left ... there is never a glitch-free check out at this location, it’s always something

The equipment (ie, the van) was great--as usual. However, your online requirements for returning the van after hours was ridiculous, painful, and totally unnecessary! There are only 3 main things that need to be checked out on a van when returned--the gas, the mileage, and the condition of the van. That takes a total of 2 minutes by a yard person. But, as indicated by your online video clip--the customer has to go thru a process that "should not take more than 15 minutes." Are you kidding me? Your online application did not work as intended and was unduly complicated. It appears to be intended to penalize the customer for returning the equipment after hours. The gas, mileage, and condition of the equipment could easily be checked out in the morning by your yard man--and any adjustment in charges be made on the charge card on file (as it always was in the past). Making the customer spend 15 minutes with your crappy online requirements only irritates him and gives him a powerful incentive to look for another rental company next time that doesn't have such a stupid requirement for after hours returns. Obviously, the online requirement was the brainchild of a bean counter with no practical knowledge of how counter-productive is this policy. I highly recommend you scrap it and return to the convenient policy of yesteryear that only requires the equipment's return and the key dropped off in the drop box! The financial outcome would be no different--and the $20 penalty (in the fine print) for failing to be tortured for 15 agonizing minutes by the online process would be avoided! I look forward to my next Uhaul rental--and hope that sanity and customer SERVICE in this area goes back to normal! Tom Kilfoyle (424) 744-1482
