1) Your website doesn't work well, staff says all customers complain about it and have for a long time 2) Truck really DIRTY, STINKY (ciggarettes) and damaged/scratched up too but your info said it was in clean and in good condition, NOT! 3) Your mobile app doesn't work well either, couldn't attach pics to show it was NOT in acceptable condition, staff did NOT CARE 4) You all charged me $20 for an after hours fee that wasn't discussed AT ALL when I checked in WITH a live person and was told all I needed to do for after hours was drop the keys and submit I'd returned it. I rented it for 8 hours, 2-10pm the woman said 103 plus any extra miles and that was all would be charged so you overcharged me, I'd like that back, please 5) your website stinks for returns too!! took me an hour and multiple attempts to get the return posted you really need a new web designer

Although the personnel was able to help, it was something I didn't need or ask for help. I wanted to use mobile check in but the personnel insisted on doing it for me and having me check the lights individually when I already had flashers and lights on. I didn't appreciate their intrusion

It is crazy that Uhaul does not keep a spare key at the agency, nor that they don't explain how not to accidently lock the key in the vehicle. Calling roadside assistance is time wasting and a sure money making deal for Uhaul. I will not rent another like vehicle again from uhaul. Travis McGinnis

The person I spoke with when I picked up my rental was very helpful, friendly, and attentive. Then when I returned my rental a lady met me in the parking lot and took care of everything, she was also very friendly and helpful.

I don't have a passport. I don't have a lease agreement. Work doesn't answer the phone on a Saturday. I'm too disabled to have lots of friends and my family is asleep on early Saturday morning. This made me have to go in and be exposed to a fucking pandemic vector because apparently legal ID isn't enough for you people. This policy is violence against the sick and disabled.

Outside of the vehicle was very dirty, including the windshield. So it was difficult to do the walk around and mark things because there was so much dirt on the vehicle, not a huge deal. But it made me a little nervous since you kind of sign your life away...anyhow, the inside was clean. Online checking wasn't working, but I don't think I had good reception, everything else was great. Did the touch less checkout and key drop no problem. I've rented before and will rent again, just had a dirty truck this time. Thanks!

I had to drop my vehicle off after-hours, and I wish the parking area for the trucks was better lit. I was a uneasy having to stand outside by myself and take pictures of the truck for like 5 minutes for the return process when I was in a dimly-lit lot by myself. Truck was in great shape and the staff member who checked me in in the morning was excellent!

I ended up having to rent a 6x12 foot utility trailer with two axles to haul a 700 pound motorcycle and sidecar rig. Massive overkill, but the way U-Haul policies are set up, there was no way to rent anything else for either a one way or local trip. That's dumb enough for starters, but when I arrived to pick up the trailer, I was horrified and gobsmacked to see that your 6 foot wide trailer only had a 4.5 FOOT WIDE GATE! Without words. Dumbest thing I've ever seen. Ended up having to load and unload the bike by lifting the sidecar up over the "bottleneck" gate opening on the trailer, which resulted in injuries and some damage to the bike. Who the hell is making decisions on equipment purchases for U-Haul? A retarded chimpanzee? The 10 foot long tongue on a 12 foot trailer with the ridiculously over engineered inertia braking system was a huge convenience as well. Most people don't have trailer brake controllers on their trucks nowadays, so U-Haul bends to their ignorance, and I have to pay the consequences. Nice. Suffice to say that I will NEVER use U-Haul again, even if my house is about to catch on fire, and your trailer is the only way to get my stuff out. I will also warn everyone I know to run away as fast as they can and to use a local mom and pop rental business. Sad state of affairs. When I was a kid, and throughout must of my life, U-Haul was a local institution, and a place that my family and I regularly got things we needed. Never again.

Verbally explain the process for returning the truck, ie. where to park when returning, and what's expected of the customer regarding folding blankets and possibly sweeping inside of truck. Great experience overall with my rental!

The Station Manager, Aaron Ybarra, was extremely unprofessional and rude. When we called to find out why he had charged us an extra $600+ per van (the mileage in was less than the mileage out because we prepaid for 3,000 miles) he got irritated and called me a "fucking asshole". He then told me to "fuck off" and call corporate. Reading through Google comments for this location, it is apparent that UHaul does not care about customer service in the slightest.

People like Aaron Ybarra will keep UHaul from getting our future business.

Casey was very condescending from the outset of our visit to this location, we had been sent to a different location by Kipling Uhaul because they could not process the deposit refund on the same day. When we arrived at the location Casey did not offer to help us in anyway even after we approached him when he was standing in the lot by himself. When he finally decided to assist me in anyway he looked up my information and told me I was at the wrong location, I tried to explain to him what the situation was he told me "I don't know what to tell you, there will be extra fees for the wrong location drop off." The gentleman we spoke to at the Kipling location told me he would notify them we are on the way. He had informed the other cashier but not Casey. So I asked Casey if he would call somebody because they should have already dealt with this. He responded, "You want me to call them? It's not my trailer this is your problem sir." I was done dealing with his attitude so I thanked him for his help and waited for the other gentleman working, after he had parked the other trailer I was walking over to ask for his help and I could overhear Casey complaining to the other cashier about me including obscenities because he did not see me coming around the corner of the trailer. He was also doing this right next to the other customers being assisted they did not appear to be pleased with his language as he was actively lobbying the other cashier not to return my deposit to me. It was top five worst customer relations experiences I have ever been apart of, and I am regional manager for a hotel chain. And it is my Job to go to locations and examine the customer service of our locations as a customer. It would also be appreciated if your employees were required to wear the masks over their nose and mouth not around there chins during a global pandemic.

I was not satisfied with how the rental went. 1st I reserved a 26ft truck and the morning of pickup I received a call saying no 26ft but we have a 20ft truck so we had to settle for the smaller which was way to small. Then to pay for the truck I had my card in file to pay but then they said we can't use that card so my so. In law had to use his card. Unsatisfactory. This is now the second time this has happened with renting.

Ensure that all employees are fully informed on all policies and procedures. I had one employee tell me that it was okay to return the truck at one time and if I would of, I would of been charged a third day. Then one lady "Sarah" said it was okay to put e85 in the truck. When CLEARLY put in the side of it not to. Idk if they are trying to destroy the engines for an insurance claim but I'm not going to be held responsible for that.

I picked up a truck, got my Christmas tree, filled it with gas and brought it back. Guy came out to inspect van and immediately pointed out a dent underneath the door you can't even see without bending over and charged me for it. I drove 40 miles on the road with my wife without issue. Definitely missed damage from before, this had to take significant impact, feels like I got scammed. Guy who checked me out said there was nothing he could do about it and told me to contact corporate, called corporate and they said there was nothing they could do about it and I had to handle that at the location. I got the insurance for peace of mind and ended up paying $10 for that and $150 for damage I didn't cause. So disappointing.

I had a U-Box transported from Jacksonville, FL to Arvada, CO. The day I was supposed to receive the box, I had incorrect contact info for my phone number but had another number on file that was correct. The individual who was dropping it off called the incorrect number, which was definitely my fault but they just cancelled the order without calling the other number or sending an email. I worked with the call cent associate who was very helpful and got the order back on track. The order was then supposed to arrive in Arvada on 10/23, which it did not and when I called the call center for some reason it switched from being transported to Arvada to just staying in Jacksonville, without anyone contacting me. There was no reason provided for why it did not get shipped. This resulted in my U box being over two weeks late than what I had anticipated. I ordered this service because I was moving to the area for a new job. I was also not notified until the box arrived that with the store location required me to move everything the same day, so I had to move everything in the snow. This wouldn't have happened if it arrived on time. The experience with uhaul made everything unnecessarily difficult then it should have been. Overall I had to constantly keep track of the shipment and did not seem like anyone else was. There was essentially no communication unless I initiated it.

I chose Arvada Uhaul because of the friendly and very helpful staff. I stopped in a few times before renting, then, during my move, a few more times. Each time, all staff were very kind to me, a 63yo single woman moving 1800 miles. I am very grateful to the staff, and especially to Sarah, who took time with my complicated transaction but also took time in the lot, to encourage me in using a trailer for the first time. She even got in my car and explained how to back up, in an easy way to understand. This was my 1st time using a trailer, I needed to pull it up to the mountains about 80 miles driving with it. Sarah explained how to connect the trailer and drive safely with it. She didn't doubt for a minute that I could do it. Also, I rented a Ubox. Sarah and all her fellow staff on my Ubox day, made sure I understood exactly the schedule for my Ubox, as it travels across the country. Thank you, Sarah and the Arvada team. This move has been made so much easier by you all. I really appreciate it.

Everything went well. Called to make a reservation, checked in on-line, then picked up the vehicle. The only criticism I would make would be that the web page to check in was rather awkward. Required uploading a scan of my driver's license, then wouldn't allow completion until I typed in the license number, birth date, expiration date, etc. Why did I need to do both. That was awkward. Especially because I was returned to the start of the multi-page form to enter the license info, then had to wade through the subsequent pages again. Simply awkward. Otherwise, everything went great.

After spending a half an hour on the phone, talking to six different people, I supposedly scheduled my UBox pick up for the next day. The next day, they still had no idea I was coming for pick up.
