The man who opened up on Friday morning (May 14th) was very unfriendly. He was short with me and acted as if I was an inconvenience for him. I really don't like it when employees act like the customers are a problem. (I arrived 3 minutes before opening-I came in to get a pair of sunglasses I left in the truck that I returned the night before. He treated me like an inconvenience. Not good. On the other hand, the person closing the facility on the 13th was very helpful, even though we got there right at 7pm. The doors were locked but when the man came out to get in his car, he spent time with me to ensure I could get the truck checked in correctly. Thanks, and appreciated him very much!David W.

An extremely long wait to get service...and that was just to drop OFF the rented trailer. Next, I was sent the wrong receipt via e-mail...that was after I told the man who uncoupled the rented trailer from my veh. that I was NOT the person on his phone information that had rented the trailer. He showed me a person named Jake Cockrell, Rexburg, Idaho as the renter. I told him that I was NOT Jake Cockrell. Thought that was the end of problem. Later, I receive a receipt on e-mail for jake Cockrell...I phone U-Haul & speak with a lady & explain the problem...finally she says that it would be a good idea for me to go back to where I dropped off the trailer & speak with the manager...I did & I asked for a receipt before I would leave the premises...they gave me a receipt in person...as it should be...not wait for one to be sent e-mail. All in all...the simple renting of a trailer took so damn much valuable time...would NOT do this again!Joseph P.

The mobile check in system is a mess. Scrap it and start over. This has nothing to do with the location, they are fine. Why on earth would I need to scan my driver's license when I pick up? Why not do that at time of online rental?Jon L.

Their automated on-line check-out and return app is garbage. I used it and they still charged me $20.00 stating that I did not use the app and returned it to the wrong location. Renters beware: they will charge you a $20.00 after hours return fee if you "do not use their app." This is the second time I had an after hours return and used the app, but still got charged. I had my boyfriend drop this trailer off. The person that came out was EXTREMELY RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL. He slammed the door in my boyfriends face and would not accept our return of the trailer. The ladies in Casper, WY. that helped me set this up to be returned in Arvada were amazing. However, someone must not have communicated to them that it was to be returned to Arvada, and someone from Aurora was going to pick it up for inspection/repairs. I tried calling multiple times last week and even put in a request to have a manager call me and no one ever did. I will NEVER use UHaul again unless someone calls me to discuss and reprimands that employee that was horrible.Jessica R.

The facts presented we're not done very well guy at the counter did not seem to know what he was talking about store manager had to keep correcting him overall experience was very poor. Customer service is not the stores strong suit. The rental got the job done so we appreciate that however the gas gauges are horribly wrong when I left it was a 3/4 of a tank when I brought it back it was a half tank you're saying I owe them 19 gallons of gas not seem right at all.ISAIHA R.

The 4x7 ft trailer was not as advertised in the title. I had to find another way to transport sectional furniture that was 40"x40". The trailer was actually 3'3" x 7'.6". The title for the trailer heading on your website should read 3'x 7'6" by rounding down 3", instead of rounding up by 9". I found out later I needed to scroll further down the page for true dimensions. I've had positive experiences in the past.When mentioned it to staff, they fell short in delivering any discount. Will not use that location again, or possibly Uhaul again.DANIEL M.

At one time u-haul actually provided great customer service by having the equipment reserved at or brought to the location of the customers choice . No more. Now you have to drive to the location that has what you reserved, even if it's clear across town. Very disappointing.DALE R.

I arrived with my partner and was then told to maintain 6 feet distance in the store from her, we rode in the same car to the store and walked in together. Employees were not 6 feet from each other but I had to make her wait behind me.... Price is advertised in a terrible way. Only $29. Drove about 30 miles and ended up paying almost $130. Why does U-Haul require a second phone number that they then call to verify my identity? I've shown up in person, provided photo ID that proves I'm a couple decades over 18, paid with a credit card in my name... and you need to call some random person at 7am to make sure I'm legit? Stupid AF.R A H.

The people here were excellent and professional... Totally helpful and pleasant to deal with. We originally had to drop it off at the Marshall Liquor Uhaul Drop off and that was a nightmare since the guy (Ritz I believe) was completely rude and did not want to assist when we tried to drop it off there (did not want to check it in, no pictures to even show its OK when we brought it back... He said to just dump it at the parking lot for the most part) ...avoid that one and just go to Uhaul of Arvada instead. They ensure you had a great experience with the trip and assist with checkout properly while taking pictures post-dropoff... U-Haul of Arvada is highly recommended and very professional. Go here if you are in the area since they have the most selection in general.Vianey V.
