The truck was there as promised. The assistant manager gave me advice on loading a washer into the truck which I appreciated. The final price was 5$ more than the estimate and I don't know why. Corporate needs to update the computer system! These poor guys are having to work with a slow, shoddy system. The credit card reader is broken and the computer system is slow. It took them a day to figure out how to get me a refund for a hitch i didn't buy a week earlier. It was tense for me because there was no receipt to show that a refund was coming. It did happen a day later though. Last I recommend that if there is a line, the manager should help the next customer instead of sitting at the counter seemingly doing nothing.Lydia R.

I have rented from this location once before and was encountered by a female employee that was extremely rude when we needed a trailer. We ended up having to go all the way to Denver. Recently, we needed a 17 foot truck at the last minute. The employee, Andrew, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and had a truck for me right away.Leslie V.

The trailer, I had no issues. There was an issue with getting the proper truck between the Sub & Sam (9491 W. 44th Ave Ste 108, Wheat Ridge, CO) & the U-haul of Arvada (6275 Wadsworth) location that had me moving the truck between each location 3 times. And I still don't have my $$ reimbursement as I only took 1 truck, not 2. Not sure who was at fault but the customer shouldn't have to be this inconvenienced. The 800 number was called and they did tell me what to do but the managers wouldn't comply so while I'm paying truck loaders $198 an hour, I spent 2 hours trying to figure out the truck situation because the managers couldn't figure out how I can return the 15' truck for the 20' truck.Jill S.

The service was completed but the employees could not answer any of my questions about the hitch that was attached to my car and had to call a manager and the correct information was still not given. Not helpful at all and was disappointed that i couldnt find the information that i was told someone could help me with. Check the vehicles before giving keys to customer. Our truck had a flat, so I'm not sure how that slipped by customer service. As customers, we have to take pics of the rental, gas, odometer,etc, but customer service didn't notice a flat before releasing the truck? The truck was replaced with a different one, eventually adding more time. Also, I opted for the mobile pick up, and the keys weren't in the lock box, which defeats the purpose of mobile pick up when you have to go inside and wait in line to get the keys. It was just a series of unfortunate events. I was 35 minutes late to my meeting with the movers and it cost me time and money because I still have to pay for the hour used or not. I also rented some equipment that I was told when checking in by live online customer service that it would be loaded into the truck before we arrived...it was not. If we didn't notice the flat tire, and didnt switch trucks, we would've drove off thinking we had everything when we didn't. It was a total cluster..Anthony M.

one representative told me hitch installs take about 30-60 minutes....one install ahead of me, so, I waited. 2 hours later still working on hitch install ahead of me and had to get a ride back home and pick up later. other representative then told me. "oh no...hitch installs can take 3-5 HOURS" other than that....all good!Mark G.

Cab was full of white dog hair and it looks like said dog nose printed both side windows. The passenger mirror was so loos that it was useless. Spun in the wind like a top. Made driving the truck challenging.Derrick L.
I paid for a 24 hour rental that started on 10/21/2022 at 6am knowing it would only be a few hours of use (actually only used the truck for 7 hours) and when I dropped the truck off at this location, the lady who helped me said I was good to go and didn't have me sign anything to prove that I dropped the truck off. The next day (today) I received my receipt and noticed I had been charged for an additional day which didn't make any sense to me. I noticed on the receipt that the truck hadn't been 'checked in' until 7:15 am on 10/22/2022, which was false, since I had returned it the same day I picked it up and used it for only 7 hours. After calling this location to let them know of the mix up, they weren't able to refund me so I had to call the corporate number and they were able to help in the end. I find it a little bit shady that the drop off person who 'checked my truck in' conveniently waited until the next morning to 'check me in' and had I not noticed the extra charges they would have gotten away with it. The installation work itself might be ok. Time will tell. The process was horrible. I was told when I walked in for my 9 am appointment that it would be a couple of hours and most people walk down the street and grab a bite to eat while waiting. I walked down the road are, shopped for a couple of hours and walked back. At noon I was told it shouldn't be much longer. No waiting room. Someone did give me water and I sat on a office chair when not walking around the tiny store. At 1:30 when I asked about the progress someone said they were about to begin working on it. At 5:16 p.m. I told them I need to go as I had an appointment at 6pm. At 5:30 they told me the install was done. They said there were people in front of me is why it took so long. Then why schedule and appointment. Why tell me a couple of hours when I first came in. I could have called family to come get me, but since it was so far from my home town I thought I would just grab a bite and wait....little did I know it would be over 8 hours of waiting. I don't think poorly of the people working there as it's management and the scheduling that is messed up. Have someone manage the process.DIANA M.

The truck had horrible suspension empty and full. It could barely accelerate to 55mph unless I held the gas to the floor. Also I didn't need nearly the amount of gas I put in. What a waste when you don't get reimbursed for anything over a quarter tank. Customer service took about 15 minutes when I expected the check in to be instant according to the online purchase I made. Just had the worst experience with this location. The manager called incredibly hostile asking where we were and how we were scheduled to drop off the vehicle at 10am today the 15th. I was currently driving and couldn't look up the reservation. The manager was speaking over me when I was trying to explain and was incredibly rude. I hung up after I clearly wasn't being allowed to speak. Called him back after a moment, has told I was being put on speaker so everyone could hear me. He was still incredibly rude and wasn't happy with my answers. I told him we got locked out of our storage unit and have been scrambling to get everything unloaded and that we would have the truck and dolly dropped off at their location in 2 hours tops. Again he was not happy telling me my situation was my own and what was he supposed to tell the family. Turns out. He was wrong. My reservation dropped off is scheduled for the 16th. Proof in the email confirmation that I was sent when I reserved the unit. Called customer service and was informed that someone from that location moved my drop off date as well. The location puts me on hold or hangs up now when I try to call. DROP OFF ELSEWHERE.Kassidi C.
