CHRISTOPHER TI am ambivalent about my experience. Overall, things went well and more or less smoothly. I didn't like the application process, my app didn't do what it was supposed to do, and the links they sent me were not user friendly (still don't know where my pictures went!) and neither linked together (app or weblink). Most concerning of all was I had two different experiences with staff. The woman who I started the rental with did her job but let me just say was "ornery". As a result of this and some further information I received about the rental they sent me, I was getting ready to say "forget it". However, the next day came in and spoke to a very nice and pleasant woman who explained things to me and allayed my fears. When I picked up the truck, I again had to deal with the "ornery" woman who also was not very helpful. Explained the do's and don'ts then gave me the key, didn't say where the truck was until I asked, then just pointed out into the lot. Well looking at the ID on my rental agreement, I started looking at the license plate of EVERY VEHICLE in the lot and finally realizing that I needed to look for another number (which I had a hard time finding on the truck too) and then saw a number at the top of the truck box which was the number I needed, problem solved. Now this one is on me, don't pick the truck up when it is getting or will get dark soon. I missed a lot of bumps and bruises and of course, couldn't find the pictures I was supposed to take on their web/app so I ended up just taking my own on my phone. Check back in process was a breeze and received my final receipt on my email pretty fast.

After dropping trailer, agent failed to confirm blankets returned and did not check trailer as returned..I had to insist on a receipt before trailer was confirmed as returned with blankets. Agents attitude was very negative

DAVID CU-Haul first sent me to a pick up location in Golden, on Washington. When I went to pick up the trailer the young man inside spoke very broken English and got his manager on a cell phone. Whoever was on the other end of the cell phone was very rude and insulting. He was asking for information I would gladly give to an individual in person and I informed him that U-Haul had all of my information. He told me to “ GET THE F**k out of his store”. I left andI called U-Haul corporate and they sent me to the location on Washington. The young lady inside was very helpful and very friendly. A really good worker as she got me hooked up very fast and on my way.
GORDON LEverything was great except that there was only one person working in the store and they had to go and hitch up the trailers so it took 30 minutes to get our trailer
ERIN LI had a great experience with this team. I do think that although everyone has gone to automated rentals that it needs to be both regular and automated. Some of us are not as anxious to just get it done and need some real questions answered. Thank you
ELSIE SThe online checkout system is somewhat confusing for us older folks, but thankfully with assistance from an amazing lady at the front desk all went well both pickup and return. I cannot say enough about the person who was at the front desk at 7AM on a Saturday morning. There were several of us who needed help with the online app and she was amazingly knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. I understand the desire of a company to want to reduce labor costs, but had this individual not been available the reviews given would have been much worse,

DEAN N4 x 8 trailers… change the hitch.. those screw down allows no way to secure your possessions from being stolen along with the trailer. It’s hard to understand why you continue to use this method in today world.
MARK WBe prepared for an invasion of privacy when they demand facial recognition photos of you which will inevitably be compromised and used to impersonate you and steal your identity all in the false name of identity protection. For this one reason I won’t be returning to U-Haul.
ANDREW WTerrible customer service. The app was confusing and throwing errors, and instead of offering help staff was disrespectful and too busy to help in a reasonable amount of time. I will not do business here again.

ROBERT YAfter waiting at least 20 minutes and never seeing anyone, the two people in front of me left. I got online, even though the office was open and left the trailer via the Online drop off. There was no customer service.

Jessica BI know it fault who were working in. It seemed like they were the only ones there join check out and check in so often times I would stand in the office with nobody there I have to walk all around to look from you just took longer to get done.
Natasha LI dislike how the truck had a dolly and bag of blankets in it, that I did not request or require, occupying crucial space. I wanted to move it, but i would be charged if I did, so i worked around it. That said, because of this, the truck is actually smaller than advertised and it may make me reconsider using UHaul again in the future. Just saying
Gunnar NPicking up and turning in the trailer went smoothly. Turning in a day early reduced the charge. Trailer tracked well in the mountains between Denver and Phoenix, with its automatic braking feature.

MITCHELL WThe van was advertised as $19.95 for the day. In total I was charged $40.09 to drive 9 miles and had the van for just over an hour. The price advertised does not reflect the actual cost. This is misleading advertising. U hual deliberately misleads customers. I will avoid uhaul in the future and will not recommend them to anyone.
MATTHEW W*Arrived for the reservation, system was down, intermittent to shoddy service on app and at the desk. Took 45+ minutes for what should have been a 10 minute visit. Several sales were lost while I was there due to the system. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE...the girls said it happens all the time. *The truck was parked SO close to the next truck that I had to basically squat and crawl under the mirrors. Good thing that I am not a BIG person, I couldn't have gotten in the door it was parked so close to the next truck After the truck was loaded and I was on the way to the destination, I was told by another driver that there were NO brake lights and or blinkers! Truck only had 5200 miles on it so I am assuming that nobody has checked anything on it. BIG safety issue!
