Where do I start? The mobile check in is not as quick as you would think. Had to wait about 5 mins for approval which should be done when the reservation is made and not when at the lot. 2nd, when approved I was told to go to the front of the line to get my keys. Well there was no one at the counter and waited with another person for over 10 mins and when a worker finally showed up she tended to a person in front of me but I showed my screen to her. She said I would have to wait as she tended to the customer. So much for going to the front of the line. All this time wasted totaled almost 30 mins which cut into my reservation time. So I technically had the truck for 1.5 hours instead of the 2.0 hours I needed it. Very disappointing! Also the truck smelled like cigarette smoke.

Waited for awhile near the same type trailer-after several minutes I went in and a gentleman told me to pull around the building -he disengaged the trailer and said NOTHING! I had to go inside to be told I could go, not very good customer experience.

Check out the equipment ahead of time. My wife was not able to open the rear door because the lift assist and rollers were so beat up. It was even a struggle for me, but my point is that you need to think of the least capable of your users and the most.

Have gone here many times, even though there is another location within a mile. But Ballwin has much more inventory and is only 3 miles away

Streamline the online check in process. It took forever. Park vehicles so that they are not “boxed in”. The vehicle that I reserved was surrounded by other vehicles. Take a few minutes to wipe down the interior, and remove debris from the cargo area.

I had a mobile pick up scheduled for 7 PM. I had scheduled this truck weeks in advance. I arrived at the location at 7:03 PM and was not able to pick up my truck via the 24/7 ride share. I was able to catch an employee who told me it was past closing time (7 PM) and there was nothing he could do for me. I explained the situation, I was moving tomorrow and needed the truck this evening, this was why I was scheduled to pick up after hours, but the app wouldn't let me. The employee said it was his mistake and he didn't see my truck was set for after hours pickup, but insisted he couldn't do anything for me and I would have to come back tomorrow because if he fixed his mistake, he would have to open up the system and he would get “in trouble”. Fortunately there was one employee who said since it's our fault they would get me a truck. By 7:20 I finally had the truck I ordered, however, it was blocked in. I had to run and get the employees to move the other trucks so I could leave. After over half an hour I finally had my truck and drove it to my residence. Once opening the back, I found out I did not have the dolly I ordered or the furniture covers I ordered... so I paid $20 more for equipment I did not receive for a truck which was not ready for me. On top of it all, one of the tires was at 7.5 PSI, basically flat, upon receiving the truck. I was very disappointed, Uhaul is usually very good, but I did not have a good experience at this Uhaul location. The truck was clean at least, but the other negatives is why I gave this location a 2/5.

Very quick trailer drop-off. Pulled up and was politely greeted and suggested to pull up to an area for the employee to remove the trailer. They said they would email the final receipt via email. I received the email within minutes and we were all good.

Don't advertise $19.95 local rental when there are mileage charges of .39-.69 per. My $19.95 rental for 2 hrs and 38 miles ended up costing $67. False advertising and deliberately misleading

The u haul truck had bad or touchy brakes. The u haul bed door was a pain to get open and to close, like it was stuck. It got the job done but made me nervous at times. When I dropped the u haul off I didn't really get to talk to anyone, I was just told I was good to go and that I would get a receipt by email. Not really surprised by the charges but would have liked to have had someone go over it with me just to verify everything was correct but I was pretty much rushed out the door with no explanation.

This location was excellent. I dropped off the car towing trailer first - went extremely smooth; unloaded the truck and returned it the next day. I pulled in and before my feet hit the ground someone was asking if I was dropping off and within (I swear) 10 - 15 min. I was done and on my way home. There were friendly people everywhere helping people. I highly recommend this location.

Location great. People great. A one day local rental - just $19.95*, I was grateful i used the bigger truck (needed to transport a king size mattress and they suggested I get a bigger truck). Exactly the 20 miles they said it would be (19.75). I had the truck less than 24 hours, but since it wasn't back by 10am (it was 3) I paid for a 2nd day. Totaled $115 for what I was originally hoping a $19.95 local - yep I bought the $14 insurance too. Can't help but feel like I got bait and switched. BUT IT'S NOT UNIQUE TO THIS UHAUL! IT'S THE PROCESS.

I've used this location before and liked it. This time I was disappointed. There was lots of animal fur throughout the truck, the cup holder was sticky and I didn't feel comfortable enough to take my mask off inside the truck. If I hadn't been on a tight schedule I would have canceled and found other transportation for my items.
