Ken PThe staff at the Ballwin location were and always are exceptional. The morning we were there the computer network system was extremely slow so it was taking at least 30 minutes to check 1 person into the system and assign a truck/trailer. The staff told us that the network issues happened frequently in the summer. There was a line of people out the door waiting to get a truck/trailer. Since I did my reservation on line, I expected it to be a smooth and fast process. The staff was doing their best to speed things along, but with the network issues, they were stuck waiting for the network to respond. For a company the size of UHaul, this is unacceptable. If it is a known, frequently occurring problem, then it needs to be addressed by corporate, as it is a corporate network issue. The network issues put a great deal of stress on the employees because they are trying to help customers, but are being slowed down by the network problems. I'm sure this is probably a company wide issue that is occurring at most locations across the country. Unacceptable situation for a large corporation dealing in customer facing customer service.

TODD CI had a reservation to pick up the U-Haul & dollys at 9:00. When I arrived there was a line out the door because their systems went down (apparently this happens every weekend) lets me say the workers were phenomenal and doing there best in a cruddy situation BUT this seems to happen a lot. TWO HOURS LATER I finally received the truck WITHOUT the dolly’s….. Again-not the employees fault, they were just as frustrated but I will think twice next time

darren tThe computer system was horribly flawed resulting in a 55 minute wait to get a trailer that was reserved and after checking in on-line. The staff were visibly frustrated with the poorly designed system but were very professional.
Michael GYour questions above are NOT FAIR to the employees. Everything was PERFECT EXCEPT THE 65 MINUTE WAIT FOR A E MINUTE CHECK OUT. Men were nice - great product. BUT YOUR IT PEOPLE NEED TO BE FIRED!!!!!! Your system not working - inexcusable. You are bleeding money and ruining your brand. What the hell are you thinking? Service is every businesses product. Smash your computers - hire talented tech people. Your employees should all quit - they got beat up for hours.....and according to them - its every business day. C-Suite should be wiped for this. Always welcome to call me.

Heidi GToday was a bad experience. It appeared that there was not enough help. I booked trailer online and got there at 9:04 am. I didn’t get out of there until 10:05. No one there was very apologetic about the long wait but luckily none of the customers were angry and handled it well.

Todd MUnder staffed for the day didn't get the dollies I asked for out of stock which makes no sense. Roll down windows and no back up camera.
Stephen ETruck smelled like smoke. They charged me $17 for fuel and I drove it less than 12 miles. I couldn’t even tell the gauge had moved — felt very punitive.

George RMy pick up location was changed to this location which was further away from where I needed to load the vehicle. I was only given 118 miles to use from pickup to drop off. I was not given any additional mileage since the pickup location was changed by UHaul. I ended up going over the 118 miles allowed.

Dan KHave used Uhaul for many rentals over the last nearly 50 years. No major “hiccups”. Even had a flat on a 26 foot truck in the desert some where in New Mexico on a Sunday. I called and someone came out and took care of the problem in 2 hours.

JOHN PApp wouldn't work to take pictures. Lighting at drop off hard to get accurate angles and no customer service available during difficult time. I've used this store before and didn't have half the issues I had this time.

Daniel OThe 26-footer was really difficult to drive on the highway, compared to the truck I rented from Enterprise. I rented the truck from you 3 years in a row. The truck shook so much on the highway that I thought the truck was going to break apart.

Eric CThe motorcycle trailer had debris in it. The trailer lights that would not work at first and then they be plugged in and they did. I also had problems when I was in Phoenix with the connection and when I brought it back, I asked for a little help press prostitution for my difficulties. They refused and he was rude.

Robert ZKeep accurate records. I was given paperwork showing my rental had 3/4 tank of gas. I was teaching my son what to do when renting a vehicle and my actual gas level was 3/8 of a tank. If I hadn't been so diligent, I would have had to buy an extra 1/2 tank of gas. I wonder how many people don't double check and get cheated?
