This place was awesome Raymond and his workers were 1st class. I was traveling a far distance and suddenly I needed to stay and they allowed me to return the truck and auto carrier back the same day and I think his name was Chris from La Miranda that work there was super nice and helpful when I returned there equipment. Haven't had a terrible experience with Uhaul yet. Always very fairly priced. When you call about inquiring about a rental, the reps are very knowledgeable, whether it be a vehicle, or a trailer. (You'd think it's simple, but there is a lot more to it.) The only reason i dont give it a 5 star review is because conmunication between branches can use improvement. We returned a trailer to a branch 300 miles away (planned trip) and our home branch thought we lost it when they didnt get confirmation from the other branch. Regardless, Uhaul has some pretty great services at a reasonable price.JAVIER V.

They gave me a quote then over charged me I will never rent from u-haul again then when I called to let them know they over charged me a girl I think her name was shay was very rude and said we are not changing anything call back when the manager was there we ask to speak to manager and she said Ilikebi said already he would be here tomarrow like where u raised in the gutter no customer service what so ever .I'm furiousMonique F.

the staff failed to let me know that the vehicle had a lock, I found out when I tried opening the back to load my balloons for a big event. I called the uhaul company and they gave me three options that did not work for me. 1. I could break the lock 2. Go to another uhaul store to get a key 3. Go back get the key I asked the employee if someone could bring me a key to my location which was only 5 miles away. I explained I was running late to set up for my event, I don't have a tool to break the lock and I didn't have anyone to help me drive to get a key. I don't think the personnel cared about my situation. I had to hire someone to break the lock, I made it late to my event, I lost money. Second situation, I tried dropping off the vehicle in Hawthorne at a uhaul location, when I was trying to input the mileage I I couldn't move forward with the process because the vehicles odometer was rounghly 3,000 miles less than what it said on the contract when I took the vehicle. I was fruntrsted, I called the uhaul company and no one answered, I tried a couple of times, a lady answered the phone after a couple of attempts and she ended up putting me on hold again for about 40 minutes until I finally hung up. Finally I made it to the uhaul in bellflower spoke to someone in person and shared my frustration, he said there was nothing he could do anything to help me. He only suggested I called during the week to speak to the owner. As for me this will be my last time renting from this location. I was put in frustrated situations, I lost money, and no one had sympathy for me nor tried helping me. The location AK power was closedGabriela L.
Have better pictures of the rental trailer that you want us to approve to say things are good. They were taken at night, so one of the pictures was decent while the others only had a profile of the trailer visible, at best. They also had the pictures of the front and back switched. The website wouldn't actually upload new pictures, so I had to just go with the terrible ones. Everything else was great.Gregory B.

Won't let you pay for truck with cash at all. Have to have all money on car at time of rental. Customers are not allowed to park in the store parking lot at all. I had truck for 2 hrs and still had to search up and down streets for a park. Got one by the alley/ liquor store where two homeless men were sitting two Inches from my tires on the curb leaning on my car. They wouldn't take my driver's license. They sent me a text, then I had to take photos of front and back while in the store and upload it. Had to run to 711 to load my debit card before getting rental. Keep in mind, I had just purchased a sofa across the street at Habitat for humanity which closed in 15 minutes because the rent process took so long because I was doing the work. Then, no walk around. Everything done through the email they send you. They charged me for fuel after I filled the pickup truck past where I got it, but THEY didn't provide a photo showing a lesser amount in tank. Also, the truck showed one mile more soon as I started it l, I had to upload a picture showing discrepancy. Total hassle. Will not use this location again. Typically always have great successes with uhaul trucks and storage.SHANDREA D.

Have dolly and moving blankets in truck ready especially of they were pre-ordered. I had to take dolly and blankets myself from store to truck. I recommend having trucks that are pre-ordered out and ready as the truck was parked in between 2 trucks. It was a real tight squeeze with no help pulling out. When waiting in line during pick up suggestion is for employees Do Not use curse words on the phone or just when something isn't correct as I heard a couple. I am a Director of Operations for telecommunications company and work in customer service. Greet customers on entrance and simply say "I'll be right with you." Don't let them stand there and wait to be called on. On a different subject I needed to rent the truck for 1 additional day as my move didn't go as planned. I was simply told I could not. Your manager didn't give me an option just simply said NO need truck back because another family needs it with many trucks still on lot. He didn't try to rent me a different size truck the answer was just No! This store needs training on customer service, empathy, work with customers problems and simply be a problem solver if issues arise. Don't want to be to tough on your employees but I think truth is the best key for this stores future success. Thank you and hood luck any corrections that are much needed.RODOLFO R.
