We had to stand in line for 15 minutes even though we filled out the express check in option online to speed up the process. The open trailer we had reserved (confirmed by U-haul) was not available for our pickup time at 8:00 am. We had to take a closed trailer, which did not fit the crate we were moving. We had to remove the items from the crate in order to get them into the closed trailer, which took a substantial amount of time.

From Mercedes at check in to Carlos on the lot, everything went smoothly and quickly. We rented a trailer. Carlos was a huge help with the hitching of it to our van. He was efficient and through, not to mention polite. A very positive experience.

The morning guys barely speak English and are slightly laster than a sloth. The afternoon guy is great. I have no idea why they tell me to bring back the trailer clean when there is a oil slick to clean up before I put my boxes in the trailer.

Taylor was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. We had set up a reservation on the phone for a truck and he helped fix our whole reservation when we got in as we had reserved a truck that was too small and he helped us save money as our move was not too far away so he suggested we drop off at same location. He showed us exactly how much gas we needed and how many miles we were able to go without going over our allotted amount. Would absolutely recommend this to a friend. Taylor made our move easy and stress free! The man outside who got us the truck was also friendly and helpful however i never got his name.

All this while our moving guys waited at home. After reserving and paying for a one way 10ft truck two weeks in advance (and checking-in online to 'save time') after waiting an hour and a half they said they don't know what happened to our truck. After complaining the offered us a 24ft truck which was way too big for our needs and to drive. Finally the offered a 15ft truck. After getting home with that truck we couldn't open the back door because they did not provide a key to the pad lock and we had to drive back to pick the key up. The next day after we dropped the truck off at one way facility we get a call from them saying they don't know why we dropped it off there. It was local truck belonging to the Boynton facility. I told them to work it out between them. NEVER again.

A bit lax even though they appear to have enough people. Took folks in line out of order for some reason. The trailer was worn out and very old, but it did the job. They did have a great selection of packing supplies. Took 20 minutes until someone came out to help me get the trailer after I paid. Very busy location this weekend they just need to get better.

Vehicle was kind of dirty inside and out, and we had to wait a long time in line to pick it up, long line, long wait, then a long time to return with the guy. You should have a little device to print out a receipt outside when you return it, it would be easier.

I had a fine experience renting from this location. I picked up my rental on Sunday the 14th at 9am, there was a line as expected on a weekend; however, unexpectedly, there was an exceptionally rude customer and his friend holding up the line, being loud and causing a scene due to circumstances beyond the control of the employees. The employee dealing with this man, presumably a manager, was very professional and kept his composure much longer than I could!

Truck was clearly not inspected upon my pickup. I had reserved furniture pads which I have proof in an email, but when I arrived to the location the very rude employee told me they did not have any and I would have to purchase some if I wanted them. 20 miles into my trip a green wrench light came on as well as a check engine light. Windshield was so dirty from bugs that I had to clean it myself before getting on the road. Truck alignment was so off I was nearly turned 90 degrees to the right to keep the truck going straight. Very disappointed with this location and fully believe that they need to fire and re-hire their entire staff.

There was 1 person working there on a busy weekend day, so it took us about an hour to get our truck. I then went back in to get a dolly, which I forgot to get when I got the truck. I was the next one in line and was standing at the desk where I told him I needed a dolly. Then a guy walks in and tells him that he gave him the wrong truck. Instead of handling me which would have been quick, the employee decides to take that guy before me in which he had to refund the entire thing and redo the entire rental. I was highly dissatisfied with the customer service.

The start of my experience was not so favorable. But the way my situation was handled by Taylor the district manager and the guy who checked me in and out rectified it all. I understand things happen and nothing is perfect but now and days I believe it's the way things are handled that makes it better. I appreciate everyone that I interacted with from the district manager, the desk agent, the guy that directed me to the truck to the young lady who answered my call and took a message. This is definitely a good location to rent from!!

I arrived at 8:50am on Sunday morning, 05-7-17. By the time the store opened at 9am there were about 10 customers in line. There was only 1 person at the front counter to handle the 10 customers in line. It was a longer wait then necessary.

Please indicate where vehicle return and customer parking is more clearly in the future...it's atrociously unfriendly, but a simple set of road letters, lights, or signs would go a long way to make the experience better.

we had a sales rep I think his name is Brian . What disrespectful person!! he did not look us in the face when we spoke to him, he dragged his butt he when he walked. The same pace as my grandma and she is 89!when we asked normal questions . He talked to us like we were dummies.. and even if we were he still should of be respectful. I felt he was racist we are white and he was African American. I had a panic attack when we had to return the truck. I thank god there was a very nice gentleman with a wonderful smile. Still something so be done .

Parking is horrible I drove up to turn the trailer in but following the equipment return signs. I immediately was told I was in the wrong spot and I had to turn in the trailer at another spot that was not marked. This required me to back up on to a major highway within help and slow down traffic.

If you take a sledge hammer to your equipment (auto transporter) and hit my Mercedes with your sledge hammer, breaking the rear bumper, at the very least reimburse me for my equipment rental!

considering this was the 3 place I was told to go to....and NO ONE called me the night before so I called only to get the run around..one place they told me to call didn't speak English....when someone who did speak English told me to call the next day and see if he has any inventory...I wouldn't recommend using Uhaul to my friends

Worst rental ever. I reserved an auto transport trailer on Tuesday. Got a call from the pickup location Saturday saying that they didn't have that trailer and only had a tow dolly, and that the computer system doesn't work so that's why I was having the problem. Essentially it's like if you were to book a hotel room, then find out when you go to check in that they don't have any rooms for you. I asked the representative to locate one for me, since I drove 7 hours for the purpose of picking up a car and needed that trailer because it was on a time limit; I was told there was none around. I told the guy that the car doesn't run, and has a body kit, and preferred the trailer for the safety of my vehicle. He assured me that the tow dolly would be just fine, if not better for my car. I only agreed to use it because the vehicle had to be picked up Sunday. Got to the location Sunday and the first representative asked how the rental process was going. I told him not well since the equipment I reserved wasn't there and drove 7 hours just to go get the car. All he said was "well its the start of the month so they go fast. You could probably go to Palm Beach and get it." First off, that was an extra 40 miles from where I was going, and second he didn't even bother to call them for me. Got outside to hook up the dolly to the truck and the next guy was just as awful. I'm not sure why any large company would allow employees working with trailers and heavy equipment to wear socks with flip-flops to work, but thats what he was wearing. We needed help hooking up the trailer as we have never rented one before, and the first thing he said was "I'm too old for this sh*t". Not off to a great start. He then had no idea what he was doing as he showed us completely wrong how to use the tire straps and didn't even bother to mention the safety chains. I guess if the car had rolled off my trailer on the turnpike and killed someone he wouldn't care. Finally got done dealing with the morons at the pick-up location and had the most difficult time getting the car on the dolly. The car doesn't run, so trying to push it over the blocks of metal for the wheel stops and wells was near impossible- in fact the tow dolly made it 10x harder to load than it should have been like the guy promised it would be. We had to take off the front bumper of the car to get it on the trailer safely, which of course the guy assured me I wouldn't have to do. We also had to repair the back tires on the car because we weren't planning on having the wheels on the ground since I reserved a FULL TRAILER for it, yet that was another headache. The next issue was that with our car on the tow dolly, our back bumper of the vehicle on the dolly sat about 2 inches off the ground. Every time we hit a bump in the road or had to cross a railroad track, it scraped. By the time we got home, the exhaust pipe was completely flat on the bottom and the back bumper was all beat up from scrubbing the road for 7 hours- all

This location we're shorthanded staff. There was only one counter help staff member on a Sunday morning at 9 AM . It is a little ridiculous knowing that people move on Friday Saturdays and Sunday and Tony have one staff member working is totally inconvenience . I even reserve my trailer online with a 9:15 pick up time. Even though I reserved my trailer via the Internet gave all my information including my credit card I still had to wait in the hour line. The staff were very nice but it was still in the convenience of having to wait one hour when you reserve a trailer at 9:15 in the morning. The statement speed up the process doesn't apply even if you reserve your item online. Customer should be able to take the reservation outside and get their necessary vehicle or trailer if they go ahead and plan ahead by doing the reservation. Outside staff should have some type of tablet with all the information that you can check out in the parking lot without even having to go inside. Only did I have to wait for others who have not reserved your trailer or truck and go through the whole process I also had to deal with customers who are buying packing supplies that have nothing to do with any U-Haul vehicles. Rent from uhaul several times a year and by far this was the worst set up. At least they should have a express checkout for people who reserve online maybe even a self kiosk. Thanks

This location did well. Our original reservation was at 1011 NW Pine Ave. We reserved a trailer only to arrive and find they didn't have it. No one bothered to call us. Had to drive across town to another location in rush hour traffic

When I called for reservation they said I could drop it off on Sunday they all have drop off boxes. Was not the case when I got the truck. So really paid for a day that I didn't need. 2nd is wait of line only one person handling customers the line was too the door. Waited a hour before I recieved truck so the early check in on line is no good because your waiting to get to check out. And truck was clean but the steering was so loose to much play in the wheel. Would not refer this location.

I was charged for going over my miles, I am not sure whose fault it is. However, I drove the UHaul directly from one spot to the other. I feel that I was cheated especially that I only had the Uhaul for less than a few hours. Plus it was hard to return the truck

Had a 1030 appt. Arrived to discover they had a 90 min backup. Then Mercedes Morris.took another car ahead of mine. Never called me to tell me about delays. It took 4 hours to get the hitch installed--not one word of apology. Horrible management and they DO NOT CARE about their customers or appointments. Go to another location.

I made an online reservation,picked up the smaller truck,and was informed I had to return it @ 7. I let them know there was no way I'd be there that early as I would be moving late into the night,but said I'd try by 930. Well,I got a nasty call & was told there were other customers waiting on the truck with reservations,but I had a reservation too so,I don't feel I should've been charged an entire day. This location is double booking trucks to increase sales,good for Uhaul,bad customer service!

Originally I was supposed to return the truck and dolly to Kidtuitive Inc. at 4775 N Congress Ave, Boynton Beach, Fl 33426. I drove to the specified address and couldn't locate it so I called the number for Kidtuitive Inc. on the contract. He was very unprofessional the whole time answering the phone with only "Hello?" giving no indication that he was a company, not including the fact that he was a U-Haul location and then asked me (in his words) "Who are you?". I was told I couldn't drop off my equipment at that location because it was under construction and that I had to either go to Delray Beach, FL or Lake Worth, FL. Both areas would have added at least 10 miles to my already limited mileage that I was given had the mileage on my contract not been incorrect. Plus there were two other U-Haul locations in Boynton Beach that he could have directed me to instead. I called U-Haul customer service and they set me up with U-Haul of Boynton Beach as my drop off location. U-Haul of Boynton Beach is a prime example of how every U-Haul location should be. They were quick and efficient and very helpful. Overall I'm very disappointed with my U-Haul experience and I'm going to make sure my family and friends know all about it.

My trucks tires were bald and my trucks battery was shot. I picked up the truck and parked it, when I went to move it, because I was blocking 4 cars - it wouldn't start. Uhaul road side assistance said it would take an hour and a half for someone to come out. I spent over an hour on the phone with three different road side representatives to find out they had to hire an outside company because they had nobody within their road side assistance department available. When the tow truck representative came out, he said he had never worked with Uhaul before and they must have been desperate for help. It took him over 20 minutes to jump start a battery that he said "was shot - it was full of rust and the truck should not have been on the road. When he finally got the truck to start, he told me not to turn it off or else it would not start again. He also said he would call Uhaul to let them know this truck should not be on the road. No one followed up with me from road side assistance, and when I brought my vehicle back the Uhaul representative said no one called them! When the representative checked in the truck - come to find out he was very familiar with the broken down truck and he manually placed it on hold. I have a strong feeling this truck is still on the road. The next day I called the manager, Mercedes and left her a message....she never called back. I tried again later in the afternoon and was transferred to her. She answered the phone as if I was calling her cell phone...."hello". Not hello this is Mercedes with Uhaul how can I help you....Just a rude, "you are bothering me, snotty "hello". I asked her if she was the manager and her response was "yes"...nothing else. I then asked her if she received my message...her response was "no". I find that highly unlikely because the gentlemen who took the message was very friendly and accommodating...he was so accommodating he took ALL of my information down including the reason for my call which was a complete refund for my experience. After speaking to this rude Mercedes, I believe the gentlemen gave her the message and she did not want to deal with me or the terrible situation. After I told Mercedes everything that happened, there was no I am so sorry this happened, no confirmation the truck was being repaired and not on the road...nothing except a bad attitude or silence. The only questions he asked is if I completed my move and why didn't someone replace the battery. I was able to answer the first question and frankly she should have been able to answer the second question. How would I know why they didn't do their job and fix the vehicle instead of telling me some half rigged response of "just keep the truck running". When I told her I completed my move her snotty response was "...so you completed your move and you want a full refund?" When I said YES of course, her response was "well I can give you a VIP voucher", in a condescending tone. I have never had an experience with such a nasty "manag

The service at the facicility was slow and not helpful. I attempted to call them several times only to be transferred to the call center. The call center was useless since they need to to contact the facility for the answer to my question. My name an number where taken down several times and I was promised a call back, which never happened. The truck was in poor conditions an in need of some maintenance, it was pulling to both sides, I was all over the road. I am very dissatisfied with with uhaul service and equipment, especially for what the final charge was! The advertised low price for the truck is just a gimmick!

The employee who initially checked me in was hiding between trucks because it was very busy and the other two employees were with customers. He eventually said "Oh, i paid my phone bill so I can chick you in. He struggled for 10-15 minutes to use the phone, which had a cracked screen, and walked away. When making my reservation I put down a card. I was told that once picked up at the uhaul location I could provide a new card and didn't have to pay with the card that was given when reserved. After the rental was picked up, the card that was used to reserve the rental was still charged. There was a lot of disorganization, and throughout the time of the rental, Uhaul charged both cards given. After discussing my situation with MULTIPLE people at the call center to try and take the first card off my file so it was no longer charged and after confirming that with them my card was STILL charged - later to find out by other Uhaul representatives that there is no way to remove the card on file and that I would need to speak to the local uhaul I rented from. Which came to continue the nightmare of this whole transaction. After much back and forth this process was very disorganized and I misleading as every person I spoke with had something different to say that would disregard everything the person before me said, and at the same time none of them could do anything to help. This experience with uhaul was the worst I've seen yet with almost $1k in charges on the wrong credit card.

Truck was filthy, they tried to blow it out before I took the truck but still was a mess. Mattresses that were moved in the truck got filthy from the truck bed. INTERIOR of the cab had smeared white finger prints and sad all over the floor, along with cigarette ash in the cup holder and ash tray. The seat belt release from in the driver seat kept jamming and didn't let me out unless I pulled on it a few times.

I asked multiple times to speak with either a Supervisor or Manager about my concerns, and was told that "they can't help me with that" and "they aren't here." Despicable customer service. The employee that turned over the truck to me in the morning as well as checked the truck in when I returned it was the best. I wish I knew his name so he would be commended. He was very nice, good natured, quick and efficient and took the time to answer all my silly questions about the truck! Great employee you have there. It is not the location issue there is a parking issue when you have to leave your car on the street. There are no other options but it is a factor. I rent the uhaul every other month for work and we need to carpool to get the truck.

I would not rent form this location, The only good thing about this location was that there truck was clean, other than that the service sucked. They gave me the keys and that was it, never did a walk around or checked miles. I rented a truck and drove 3 miles to my destination and than 3 miles back to uhaul That is 6 miles, the charged me for 57miles, the woman said there's nothing that she could do. And than dismissed me. Be careful if you rent here. Make sure you check ur miles befor you leave the yard. Than I used the link for moving help, Iand picke RJ Mover's, they were scheduled between 8-9am, and they never showed up around 1130Am they called and said they are on there way. I canceled them since I had already loaded the truck.. And I'm still waiting for my refund.

I originally scheduled to pick up my uhaul at a location closer to my home in delray beach. When I arrived at my scheduled time the office was completely empty and there was no one there. I then called the office number that was on the registration and there was no answer. I called uhaul customer service and thank goodness they were able to find me a truck in a different location and give me some extra miles since I now has to drive out of the way to pick up the truck. Everything went very well at the boynton beach location though. However I would not recomomend scheduling Pick ups online due to the fact you cannot be sure your truck will be there, or elmployees will be there...

I have never had a problem with renting a vehicle from this location until now. I was extremely upset with the way that we were charged, I do not think I will ever use this company again. I was told that I was charged commerical rates and never got the options listed for me in writing. I was extremely mad for the cost of renting a pickup for three days, going 228 miles and I would not have rented the truck if I know that they were changing the rate of rental and mileage after we returned. Then they charged us the wrong amount and when I confronted the charge they charged us an additional amount with a credit that would take 3-5 days to return. This maxed out my bank account. The truck was the most uncomfortable vehicle I have ever rode in, for long distance.

We had to keep the trailer an extra day. We called on Sunday and were told the total would be $70 if we dropped it off the next morning. When we dropped off the trailer early Monday morning we were charged $136. We were told the manager would contact us tegarding the price increase but she never did.

Don't mislead your customers and waste their time and then more than quardribble charge them if you don't have the equipment we order especially when I called and confirmed before the pick up time. You gave me a different piece of equipment the fact that you did not have my order and then charged me way over my fees that I was suppose to pay. Until now I'm still waiting for my $50 guarantee.

He told me to bring the truck back by 7am on Sunday even though I reserved the truck for 24 hours and picked the truck up at 2pm on Sat. I went to return the truck at 7am on Sun and found out that the store opens on 9 am on Sunday's.

Awesome staff. Very helpful and quick. I'm there all the time for boxes, u-haul truck time to time and just recently a trailer. Never had a bad experience over the years. My only suggestion would be for corporate. When I initially called to schedule a tow trailer with the toll free number, it would be great to be reminded to bring a 2" ball and let them know the trailer has a 4-way for trailer wire hook-up in case you need to bring a adapter. I feel 2" 5/8 Ball is usually the standard for a CAR trailer along with a 7-way plug.

Hitch wiring not attached to factory installed plug that is on all Ford Escapes. Installer went thru my taillight, scratched my bumper, and spliced into the taillight harness. One wire is not even hooked up to anything. I took photos. Called customer service spoke with Sharon and after 20 minutes on the phone with her she hung up on me. Went to the facility showed an installer who agreed that it was not right. Dealt with Mercedes in the office who rolled her eyes at us. Great customer service. Called the corporate number to inquire about a refund since we have to be inconvenienced tomorrow at 3 pm when they fix their screw up. Now I'm waiting to be contacted by "corporate". I would get a faster response posting my photo on Twitter.
