I rented a small box truck. The truck had a leak from the top of the truck. All of my boxes inside the truck were wet and fell apart. (I purchased my Boxes from U-Haul). I brought this to the Manager's attention. He said he would check into it and contact me by end of day. I'm still waiting to hear from him. Disappointed

The truck was littered with damage and quick claim stickers. It ran poorly but we decided in the interest of time to make it work. Then dark came upon us only to find out the dashboard didn't light up and the tail lights were broken. Also in the evening the cockroaches came out to visit in the cab. We returned the truck immediately upon finding out it wasn't road worthy in the evening. Today I have stopped by the office where I was told to call back and speak to Troy a manager. I have called back only to be told the system is down and they can't transfer me to him. I and my wife have rented and used you movers for most possibly all of our rental needs and have never experienced anything close to this. Needless to say extremely frustrated and disappointed as we finish our move with my pick up truck

The call center was a nightmare the FIRST attempt. The lady was basically having a mild anxiety attack when I asked her if she was in the store and could check on a particular item for me. She started saying "Hello? Can you hear me?" and hung up. Her name was Angela. Second lady that fielded the call was Felicia and she was great.

The main thing is they shouldnt park vans and trailors in front of the location. When i returned my rental trailor i had to basicly make a u turn on a small one way road to back the tralior into the spot they asked to me drop the trailor. Was dangerous for me and other motorists and held up traffic at 5pm on a friday..

Was customer focused - rented in a number of U-Haul locations. In and out in much less time than most.

A better explanation of billing procedures is needed. A cargo van with an advertized price of $19.95 a day ended up at $79.00 a day. When the estimated price of $121.81 was initially questioned we were told it was "only an estimate". The 29.95/day van Plus the dolly rental $10.00 Plus the insurance $10.00 Plus the additional mileage $20.00 Should have come closer to $70,00 plus tax. I don't understand why the extra $50.00 was charged for the van.

Carlos Robales assisted me and he made the pickup process simple, smooth and rapid. He alerted me to the free size upgrade, corrected computer in-accuracies, listed and initialed. He listed the other options and service products available to me, allowing me to make choices that might assist my move. He was courteous and patient on pickup and return. My cost was reasonable. The pre-registration didn't mean anything when three other customers were waiting in front of me 15 minutes before the posted opening time (POT), the first employee with a key arrives 5 minutes after POT, then takes 5 minutes to turn on computers, lights etc, This location is too small and has no parking. Took 1 hour plus from arrival to drive away with truck. The reason for N/A ' would I recommend to friend' question is, when paying by the mile, proximity to the job site is an over-riding concern.

I waited 45 minutes and then they helped the customer behind me. They pointed to my rental van (which was on the opposite side of the building) and left me standing there. I had to chase him to confirm which vehicle. He still didn't walk over. I had to maneuver back and forth put of a very tight spot to get the van out. I could have damaged several vehicles. An employee should have pulled it out FOR me. They did not go over the vehicle to check for damage or give me any instruction or opportunity to ask questions. The van was filthy from the previous customer. This is the third time I've rented from this location. Each time the service has been marginal but this was ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!

Original reservation was with Budget. When I showed up for my truck, they let me know that there was no truck for me. I had movers showing up within minutes. I called Uhaul and they got my in a truck and on my way in less than 30 minutes. I will never use anyone but Uhaul ever again. I've never had a problem in the past, and they really came through for me this time. 5 stars!

A newer, cleaner truck would be a good start. Second, the dolly and blankets "secured" in the back of the truck that would be charged if you use them is a bit of an irritation. It's in the way on a full load and they refused to move it because it's "policy". If you break the seals, they assume you used it and charge you. Other than that, Mercedes the lady in the office and the yard folks were very polite and helpful. The faculity was adequate.

Honestly. Without Mercedes behind the desk this location would fall apart. If she is not there there's a line out the door. I can't even get help from this new manager Taylor. I watch Taylor on numerous occasions doing little things that don't matter when there's a line out the door instead of helping customers. I find him turning to ask Mercedes for help. I rent trucks here almost every weekend and sometimes twice a week. I do not have a personal relationship with Mercedes but wanted to speak her up because after 15 years of renting trucks I have never seen someone better at handling the office. Ken savage is great too and I do not have a personal relationship with him either.

I had made a reservation for particular piece of equipment and was told that it would definitely be there at my pick up time. When I came in, the equipment was not there and I was given something different. The equipment I rented was bigger than what had requested and I was charged more then what was reserved.when customer service tells the customer that the equipment will be there, it should be there.The staff, as usual, was extremely helpful. I will continue to use this location.

Returned auto transporter to this location one day early. Was told we would get email receipt. Two days later no proof of return instead a $20 late fee applied. Called corporate office they said local office would call me by days end to clear up matter. No call. Following day had to go to location to personally clear up matter. Manager was appologetic and assisted in closing out account. Overall an inconvenience in returning to say the least.

This was the worst truck I've wver gotten from this location. Bad transmission, slipping and lurching. Nearly hit a car it lurched so far and I had the brake pressed. No A/C, dirty cab. If I had more time I would have taken it back and rejected it. I didn't expect a death trap truck. Worker who was in the lot to check out the rentals was over-worked and had a fast, impatient attitude. If I rent again from this location, I'll be very careful to scrutinize the vehicle.

ordered a hand truck with trailer and was told it would be available and reserved, gave credit card data to reserve trailwer and handtruck, no handtruck upon arrival, then when leaving without the trailer he said an appliance cart was available, paid extra for appliance cart to get job done and took trailer, tried to preregister the rental data to save time at the office, your computer failed to do it, 30 minutes to get a simple trailer, one of the most unfriendly and awful rental centers ever used, uhaul needs a complete overhaul, I use Home Depot for trailers whenever I can and avoid uhaul as do all my fellow workers, never return here unless no other options

This almost turned into a bad experience for me. I was called by The Family Automotive which was my original pick up location very late in the day to tell me they did not have the truck I needed and if I had any problems to call 1 800 UHAUL this was after I made a reservation and a deposit to secure it. I did not a precise being called so late in the day and then trying to scramble and find another truck. I had already hired movers and invested money in this move. I was so stressed and panicked aftER finally getting through to the palm beach county scheduling department RICH was very understanding,helpful and acommadating. This was being on the phone for 3 hours being bounced around from city to city. If it wasn't so late and I did not already have money invested I would have definitely took by business elsewhere. This was just bad business. Again, RICH was a lifesaver and CARLOS at my new pick up was wonderful they turned a nightmare into something pleasant.

They wouldn't take the truck back, and made me drive around town looking for an other uhaul facility, and no one else would take it. I finally had to almost force them to take it. I was charged for gas and mileage which they cause me to add on driving around looking for a uhaul place. That is very unfair. Something needs to be done.

I had to show a technician how to remove and reorient a hitch ball. The return process was a nightmare that included an employee ( the same one I showed how to reorient the hitch ball) and another customer get into a very heated verbal argument. I was returning my equipment the same time multiple customers were returning equipment and multiple employees were just standing around doing nothing. One employee finally took charge of the situation after 30 min. To get the situation resolved. There was no managers there on the weekend to direct employees.

My experience was average/typical South Florida customer service. No major complaints.

The truck was a death trap on the highway.the alignment was so bad you couldn't even go 50 MPH. They didn't put the right hand truck I requested. When I explain the condition of the truck to the manager he didn't seem to care and I had to pay full price for they death trap. I usually use lend me truck rental, I won't mind if Uhaul had charge me a little more and the truck wasn't a death trap. First and last time I used U-Haul.

This location was great but i reserved the trailer at another location and was notified late the night before pickup that i had to get it at a different location. I had to go over a half hour out of my way to pick up the trailer. They would not allow me to return the trailer to the closer location so i had to go another half hour out of my way to return it. I was very disappointed about that.

I've rented many times from UHaul. Today was a disgusting experience The van was filthy, full of cow poop. I was so disgusted, the smell was unbearable especially in todays hot , humid weather. I returned the truck immediately Totally wasted my time, delayed my noce due to this issue due to IHaul not keeping their equipment clean. Awful! And I was told a manager would call me, never got a call ant try chsrged my credit card after telling me they would not, like I said, horrible experience

Who ever took my order completely ruin it by charging my account multiple times. I called so he could give me a logical explaination to why this incident occurred, he said because they had a "computer glitch." Also the guy to took to keys from me apparently forgot to log that I returned the truck so more chargers occur on my account. Overall this was really bad experience.

This was the rudest and most unprofessional treatment I have ever experienced. I will never recommend anyone in the Souh Florida area to use UHaul. They refused to accept my truck drop off because they said their lot was full EVEN though my truck was safely and securely parked in their lot! They threatened to charge my card on file if I did not take it to a location OVER 50 miles away! I told them it was unacceptable and their response was exactly this.... "That's your problem!" Then they charged my card on file for all sorts of nonsense reasons that didn't apply! I put a call into the regional office and expect a response.

I would recommend this location. we had a difficult time getting a truck after another rental company did not have what we needed. Taylor made sure we knew where the location was as well as calling from his personal cell to make sure we were good. I also have to recommend the Andrews Ave (Pompano) Location - Darryl & Kristina did everything they could to make sure we received our truck - even after we had been ugly to them, They did everything possible to help truly going above and beyond to make sure we had the truck that evening. We had to stand in line for 15 minutes even though we filled out the express check in option online to speed up the process. The open trailer we had reserved (confirmed by U-haul) was not available for our pickup time at 8:00 am. We had to take a closed trailer, which did not fit the crate we were moving. We had to remove the items from the crate in order to get them into the closed trailer, which took a substantial amount of time.

We had set up a reservation on the phone for a truck and he helped fix our whole reservation when we got in as we had reserved a truck that was too small and he helped us save money as our move was not too far away so he suggested we drop off at same location. All this while our moving guys waited at home. After reserving and paying for a one way 10ft truck two weeks in advance (and checking-in online to 'save time') after waiting an hour and a half they said they don't know what happened to our truck. After complaining the offered us a 24ft truck which was way too big for our needs and to drive. Finally the offered a 15ft truck. After getting home with that truck we couldn't open the back door because they did not provide a key to the pad lock and we had to drive back to pick the key up. The next day after we dropped the truck off at one way facility we get a call from them saying they don't know why we dropped it off there. It was local truck belonging to the Boynton facility. I told them to work it out between them. NEVER again.

I picked up my rental on Sunday the 14th at 9am, there was a line as expected on a weekend; however, unexpectedly, there was an exceptionally rude customer and his friend holding up the line, being loud and causing a scene due to circumstances beyond the control of the employees. I had reserved furniture pads which I have proof in an email, but when I arrived to the location the very rude employee told me they did not have any and I would have to purchase some if I wanted them. 20 miles into my trip a green wrench light came on as well as a check engine light. Windshield was so dirty from bugs that I had to clean it myself before getting on the road. Truck alignment was so off I was nearly turned 90 degrees to the right to keep the truck going straight. Very disappointed with this location and fully believe that they need to fire and re-hire their entire staff.

There was 1 person working there on a busy weekend day, so it took us about an hour to get our truck. I then went back in to get a dolly, which I forgot to get when I got the truck. I was the next one in line and was standing at the desk where I told him I needed a dolly. Then a guy walks in and tells him that he gave him the wrong truck. Instead of handling me which would have been quick, the employee decides to take that guy before me in which he had to refund the entire thing and redo the entire rental. I was highly dissatisfied with the customer service.

we had a sales rep I think his name is Brian . What disrespectful person!! he did not look us in the face when we spoke to him, he dragged his butt he when he walked. Worst rental ever. I reserved an auto transport trailer on Tuesday. Got a call from the pickup location Saturday saying that they didn't have that trailer and only had a tow dolly, and that the computer system doesn't work so that's why I was having the problem. Essentially it's like if you were to book a hotel room, then find out when you go to check in that they don't have any rooms for you. I asked the representative to locate one for me, since I drove 7 hours for the purpose of picking up a car and needed that trailer because it was on a time limit; I was told there was none around. I told the guy that the car doesn't run, and has a body kit, and preferred the trailer for the safety of my vehicle. He assured me that the tow dolly would be just fine, if not better for my car. I only agreed to use it because the vehicle had to be picked up Sunday. Got to the location Sunday and the first representative asked how the rental process was going. I told him not well since the equipment I reserved wasn't there and drove 7 hours just to go get the car. All he said was "well its the start of the month so they go fast. You could probably go to Palm Beach and get it." First off, that was an extra 40 miles from where I was going, and second he didn't even bother to call them for me. Got outside to hook up the dolly to the truck and the next guy was just as awful. I'm not sure why any large company would allow employees working with trailers and heavy equipment to wear socks with flip-flops to work, but thats what he was wearing. We needed help hooking up the trailer as we have never rented one before, and the first thing he said was "I'm too old for this sh*t". Not off to a great start. He then had no idea what he was doing as he showed us completely wrong how to use the tire straps and didn't even bother to mention the safety chains. I guess if the car had rolled off my trailer on the turnpike and killed someone he wouldn't care. Finally got done dealing with the morons at the pick-up location and had the most difficult time getting the car on the dolly. The car doesn't run, so trying to push it over the blocks of metal for the wheel stops and wells was near impossible- in fact the tow dolly made it 10x harder to load than it should have been like the guy promised it would be. We had to take off the front bumper of the car to get it on the trailer safely, which of course the guy assured me I wouldn't have to do. We also had to repair the back tires on the car because we weren't planning on having the wheels on the ground since I reserved a FULL TRAILER for it, yet that was another headache. The next issue was that with our car on the tow dolly, our back bumper of the vehicle on the dolly sat about 2 inches off the ground. Every time we hit a bump in the road or had to cross a railroad track, it scraped. By the time we got home, the exhaust pipe was completely flat on the bottom and the back bumper was all beat up from scrubbing the road for 7 hours- all

This location we're shorthanded staff. There was only one counter help staff member on a Sunday morning at 9 AM . It is a little ridiculous knowing that people move on Friday Saturdays and Sunday and Tony have one staff member working is totally inconvenience . I even reserve my trailer online with a 9:15 pick up time. Even though I reserved my trailer via the Internet gave all my information including my credit card I still had to wait in the hour line. The staff were very nice but it was still in the convenience of having to wait one hour when you reserve a trailer at 9:15 in the morning. The statement speed up the process doesn't apply even if you reserve your item online. Customer should be able to take the reservation outside and get their necessary vehicle or trailer if they go ahead and plan ahead by doing the reservation. Outside staff should have some type of tablet with all the information that you can check out in the parking lot without even having to go inside. Only did I have to wait for others who have not reserved your trailer or truck and go through the whole process I also had to deal with customers who are buying packing supplies that have nothing to do with any U-Haul vehicles. Rent from uhaul several times a year and by far this was the worst set up. At least they should have a express checkout for people who reserve online maybe even a self kiosk. Thanks

When I called for reservation they said I could drop it off on Sunday they all have drop off boxes. Was not the case when I got the truck. So really paid for a day that I didn't need. 2nd is wait of line only one person handling customers the line was too the door. Waited a hour before I recieved truck so the early check in on line is no good because your waiting to get to check out. And truck was clean but the steering was so loose to much play in the wheel. Would not refer this location.

The truck stop running , called roadside assistance very good service, they were always in contact with me, like a miracle the truck start running again, returned to the shop, they were worry also. Excelent service, very happy.

I was charged for going over my miles, I am not sure whose fault it is. However, I drove the UHaul directly from one spot to the other. I feel that I was cheated especially that I only had the Uhaul for less than a few hours. Plus it was hard to return the truck

Had a 1030 appt. Arrived to discover they had a 90 min backup. Then Mercedes Morris.took another car ahead of mine. Never called me to tell me about delays. It took 4 hours to get the hitch installed--not one word of apology. Horrible management and they DO NOT CARE about their customers or appointments. Go to another location.

I made an online reservation,picked up the smaller truck,and was informed I had to return it @ 7. I let them know there was no way I'd be there that early as I would be moving late into the night,but said I'd try by 930. Well,I got a nasty call & was told there were other customers waiting on the truck with reservations,but I had a reservation too so,I don't feel I should've been charged an entire day. This location is double booking trucks to increase sales,good for Uhaul,bad customer service!

Originally I was supposed to return the truck and dolly to Kidtuitive Inc. at 4775 N Congress Ave, Boynton Beach, Fl 33426. I drove to the specified address and couldn't locate it so I called the number for Kidtuitive Inc. on the contract. He was very unprofessional the whole time answering the phone with only "Hello?" giving no indication that he was a company, not including the fact that he was a U-Haul location and then asked me (in his words) "Who are you?". I was told I couldn't drop off my equipment at that location because it was under construction and that I had to either go to Delray Beach, FL or Lake Worth, FL. Both areas would have added at least 10 miles to my already limited mileage that I was given had the mileage on my contract not been incorrect. Plus there were two other U-Haul locations in Boynton Beach that he could have directed me to instead. I called U-Haul customer service and they set me up with U-Haul of Boynton Beach as my drop off location. U-Haul of Boynton Beach is a prime example of how every U-Haul location should be. They were quick and efficient and very helpful. Overall I'm very disappointed with my U-Haul experience and I'm going to make sure my family and friends know all about it.

The transmission on the 9' cargo van slipped a little. We also wanted to look at a vehicle manual to operate the many features, but no manual to be found. We rented in Florida, warm. The Air conditioning was not cool enough. But, the reservation was easy, the pick up and drop off very easy. The people were very friendly, price was reasonable. Overall a good experience.

When I dropped the truck they told me there was a mistake with the contract and they make me call the office in Clermont Florida I have to wait almost an hour for the problem to be fixed

My trucks tires were bald and my trucks battery was shot. I picked up the truck and parked it, when I went to move it, because I was blocking 4 cars - it wouldn't start. Uhaul road side assistance said it would take an hour and a half for someone to come out. I spent over an hour on the phone with three different road side representatives to find out they had to hire an outside company because they had nobody within their road side assistance department available. When the tow truck representative came out, he said he had never worked with Uhaul before and they must have been desperate for help. It took him over 20 minutes to jump start a battery that he said "was shot - it was full of rust and the truck should not have been on the road. When he finally got the truck to start, he told me not to turn it off or else it would not start again. He also said he would call Uhaul to let them know this truck should not be on the road. No one followed up with me from road side assistance, and when I brought my vehicle back the Uhaul representative said no one called them! When the representative checked in the truck - come to find out he was very familiar with the broken down truck and he manually placed it on hold. I have a strong feeling this truck is still on the road. The next day I called the manager, Mercedes and left her a message....she never called back. I tried again later in the afternoon and was transferred to her. She answered the phone as if I was calling her cell phone...."hello". Not hello this is Mercedes with Uhaul how can I help you....Just a rude, "you are bothering me, snotty "hello". I asked her if she was the manager and her response was "yes"...nothing else. I then asked her if she received my message...her response was "no". I find that highly unlikely because the gentlemen who took the message was very friendly and accommodating...he was so accommodating he took ALL of my information down including the reason for my call which was a complete refund for my experience. After speaking to this rude Mercedes, I believe the gentlemen gave her the message and she did not want to deal with me or the terrible situation. After I told Mercedes everything that happened, there was no I am so sorry this happened, no confirmation the truck was being repaired and not on the road...nothing except a bad attitude or silence. The only questions he asked is if I completed my move and why didn't someone replace the battery. I was able to answer the first question and frankly she should have been able to answer the second question. How would I know why they didn't do their job and fix the vehicle instead of telling me some half rigged response of "just keep the truck running". When I told her I completed my move her snotty response was "...so you completed your move and you want a full refund?" When I said YES of course, her response was "well I can give you a VIP voucher", in a condescending tone. I have never had an experience with such a nasty "manag

I expect my gas tank to be full, so I don't have to stop for gas before I return the van. This was not the case and was very annoying and will cause to me look elsewhere next time!!! Plus, the refilling is much easier if I know I have to fill it up fully, rather than guessing how much I have to put in to fill it up to 3/4 or so!

The service at the facicility was slow and not helpful. I attempted to call them several times only to be transferred to the call center. The call center was useless since they need to to contact the facility for the answer to my question. My name an number where taken down several times and I was promised a call back, which never happened. The truck was in poor conditions an in need of some maintenance, it was pulling to both sides, I was all over the road. I am very dissatisfied with with uhaul service and equipment, especially for what the final charge was! The advertised low price for the truck is just a gimmick!

Someone walked in and cut straight to her and she totally ignored me. Worst customer service and when I finally was assisted I mentioned that I've been waiting and she said I didn't see you.

Very tight, rented 6x12 trailer ok, returning very very very difficult, trucks for rent blocking retuning Lane had to back onto busy Street and then back into very tight lot many customers cars propane tanks and little help would not rent from here again but will tell story to everybody I know, not fun at all ,

Staff at that location, think his name was Carlos, was great. Worked with my needs and even able to get my truck on time, despite a major complication issue he had to deal with concerning another customer that dropped off a truck and blocked the only road/lane for all other trucks. He was great and very happy customer.
