I was downsized from a 26 foot truck to a 20 foot truck and a 6 X 12 Trailer, resulting in the loss of 200 cubic space of much needed room for my personal goods...the net result was that I had to leave a lot of my personal goods behind; The trailer that I was issued was not inspected prior to my rental; There was some type of bailing wire wrapped all around the axle(s) which resulted in the trailer brakes being engaged from my departure point, and a resulting tire blowout and damaged bearings on the trailer, 80 miles from my departure point. This cost me two days of travel time to replace the trailer, and a late arrival into my destination. Due to my late arrival by two days, I lost my previously scheduled unloaders and had to hire different ones, at a much greater expense. U-Haul refused to provide me with unloaders, and would not cover the additional cost that was incurred. All in all, a really bad experience for me.

Speed up access to customer service via phone. Long waits to get to a live person, although once a customer service person got on the line, the service was excellent.

So, where to begin. It’s now a week and a half since I returned the truck to Capeway Convenience in Middleboro, MA - as scheduled with the Brighton staff - and those tools can’t find the trick and are accusing me of not returning the damn thing. Why didn’t you contact me sooner?!? Also, the stupid return app camera wouldn’t work so I couldn’t take a picture of the dashboard and now probably gotta pay your company an extra $20. I want this issue resolved ASAP and plan to never tent from you guys again.

The customer service rep said something different than what I was actually charged. I called and talked with the Manager and he basically told me I was charged already and there was nothing he could do about it. Probably not picking up a trunk from that location if I can avoid it.

3 minutes late and I get charged for 2 days? The truck sat for 10 minutes before it was checked in. I was on time

The rental of a truck for 6 hours and 3 hrs with insurance came to $115 so nowhere near the $29 advertised rates... it doesn’t leave you satisfied

Wait time to pick up trailer was long, Stood in line for 15-20 minutes. Unable to book one-way trailer on website, originally booked "in town" then had to call and change reservation to one-way.

I was charged for 11 day rental even though I only rented it for one day.

We rented a van. Returned before the estimated time. We went in the store to give back the key but they were busy and told us to leave it in the car and LOCK THE DOOR. Then 2 hours later I got a call from one of the other staffs that he cannot find the key. Then he went on and blame on us and charge me another day of rental.
