Truck windows were dirty. Gasoline tank was only a quarter full. You charge a $20 convenience to drop it off after hours which I don't understand how you can justify.

First of all, nobody was at front desk for about 10 minutes, while three customers were wondering around to get help. Second I have been charged 3 gallons of Gas for 9 miles of driving. I have been estimated $27, after asking the travel details, however I have been charged 48 dollars, almost double!!!

This is Uhual of Burbank •Overcharge bills. •equipment requested and paid by customer never delivered but Yet charged by employees. •The Employees don’t seem to care or help clients, they simply tell you what you want to hear but they don’t go through. •Receipts clearly show faults in their favor with overcharges and extra fees.

This location was able to fix my issue but Uhaul itself was completely disappointing. I reserved a week in advance, recieved 2 calls within that week of location change. I was skeptical but thought "ok what can I do, I need to move". Come day of pick up, I go 24 miles away from the original location. Systems were down. Ugh ok, let's see wait. Then they call me to the counter to tell me that the truck reserved never came back and there isn't one for me. What? They said they will look for a location to accommodate. Found one, another 25 miles away. Mind you I started at 7, here we are 10am. Call location, systems were down. Finally someone answered and they didn't have my transfer reservations and no truck to accommodate. I called Customer service and spoke to traffic control. Wonder lady said she would fix this somehow. She cancelled someone else's reservation and gave me there truck. I was finally on my way. It's wrong but I took the truck. To think that the next person was going go thru what I went thru just because Uhaul overbooked. 0 rating. I wish I could get compensated for the headache and time lost.

You absolutely must supply your 10' trucks with ramps or at least have rentable ramps on hand. I had to go out and improvise a ramp by buying two planks at a lumber yard. It worked, but it set me back more time and money than I was willing to shell out that day. Every other size truck on the lot have them, I'm told, but I didn't need a truck that size. Either supply the 10-footers with ramps or be very specific up front at point of sale that you don't supply them so the renter can make an informed decision. Don't wait until the day of the move, with hired help waiting for you, to tell the renter he either has to decide to go with a bigger truck or figure another way out of the predicament. We were transporting heavy items to a very old apartment, so the ramp was essential.

I was penalized for returning the vehicle on the same day, after hours, and was never disclosed by the agent that there are fees associated with the after hour return. Reached out to customer service via email and have not heard back in days. Dishonest and poor customer service. Will not use U-Haul again!
