Christopher HI would say read the contract because check out agent (not very good) won’t share any policy like take pictures before you leave - check gas level … check in when we returned agent was Excellent!

Lorena DHave more staff for check-in/pick-up. i arrived to pick up my truck and there was no one in the interior pickup office area. I literally waited 15+ minutes alone in the large room until someone finally showed up. As I waited, more people started piling in, and by the time staff got there, there were probably ten people waiting for the pickup of their vehicles. I got the impression he was outside helping other customers. You need more staff for this location, at least on a saturday morning, which is when I came to pick it up. To make matters worse, he directed me to a vehicle with the liftgate open, and it was unclear if it was my truck. I had ordered six furniture blankets and they were not there. I had to go back into the store about this, and the lone staff guy had to abandon all the people in line just to find me some blankets, which, of course, I had already paid for so I wanted to make sure I got them -- and I needed them for the move anyway. To make matters worse once I got in the cab to drive, there was almost no gas in the tank! The gas guage was literally on Empty, and the little digital warning told me I had nine miles worth of gas. This meant I had to rush to the nearest costco gas station to fill up, which was a few miles away. It was a little nerve wracking. Then, I had to try and guestimate, how much gas to put in for my trip so that I could bring it back practically empty. Of course. I filled it a little more than I needed to so I wouldn't run out of gas in the middle of the moving project. i brought this to the attention the staff guy and his attitude was definitely DGAF. Another issue, I have is the fact that you have a dolly clipped into the back of every truck. it's like the u haul truck version of an honor bar in a hotel. I fucking hate it. For one thing, it takes up space that I could otherwise put a few more things into the truck. For another thing, if I didn't know any better, I would think you were just giving me a nice free dolly. And then I would use it. And get a surprise charge. it's definitely trickery and borderline fraud. i mentioned this to the staff guy and again, he was DGAF. the only good thing about this entire process was when I brought the truck back. It was a quick and easy thing. pickup was horrible and time-consuming though

matt jThe Burbank location did well, but the U-haul company itself failed miserably on my reservation! I reserved a 15' truck one-way to Prescott AZ and 48 moving blankets ten days in advance. My original pickup location was US storage in La Crescenta CA. I'm in the process of moving to Prescott and needed the truck to haul a baby grand piano and a bunch of furniture and other belongings to our new home. Getting piano movers in both locations scheduled for the dates and times I needed was very difficult and was not a process that I wish to ever repeat! Since my pickup location was a few blocks away, I had piano movers in La Crescenta lined up to move the piano from our house to the truck one hour after my pickup time. I also had a full truckload of furniture and belongs staged in my garage ready to load after the piano and piano movers in Prescott hired to unload the piano and bring it into our new house two days later. Two days before my pickup day U-haul called to notify me that US Storage did not have a truck for me so they moved my reservation to Canyon Market Liquor in Tujunga. This was still close enough for me to get the truck back to my house in time for the piano movers to load the piano. However, when I arrived to pick up the truck, Canyon Market Liquor did not have a truck for me. I spent around 45 minutes waiting for them to figure out where they can get me a truck. The finally found one at the Burbank location, but it was now 15 minutes before the piano movers were scheduled to arrive at my house and with morning traffic it would take over 1 1/2 hours to go to Burbank, pick up the truck, and get to my house. I called the piano mover and, fortunately, he was able to accommodate the timing. While my wife was driving me to Burbank I tried to call the Burbank location to make sure they also had the 48 moving blankets. I kept getting voice mail so I called the main U-haul number. They assured me that Burbank was a major U-haul location and they would have plenty of blankets. Shorty after this call the representative at Burbank finally returned my call and he told me that all their moving blankets were already reserved for other customers! I told him what had happened, that I'm a few minutes away and that he dam well better find me 48 moving blankets by the time I get there. When I got there he had my truck ready and had 48 moving blankets sitting outside the door ready for me to load. After this extremely stressful morning, the rest of the move went very well and the person at Big Bens moving and Storage where I dropped off the truck got me out of there in a very short time.
EDMUND WIvin was very helpful when I returned the van. He was courteous, he listened and responded to my request as best he could. I'll spare you the details, as they are first world problems but my takeaway is he is excellent at customer service and you're fortunate to have him on your team. I hope he gets proper recognition and that he'll see this comment.

Jean-Francois RThe cigarette lighter plug-in didn't work. I needed it to plug in my phone so I could use my driving maps. Also, next time have an employee tell new drivers where the gas tank is. Also, an employee should tell the driver what kind of gas that the truck takes.

My only problem is they do not have enough of the RAM Cargo vans - it is getting very difficult to rent one here because everyone wants the RAM's and no one seems to want the Ford or GM vans. Hopefully they will get more in soon so I do not have to rent from Enterprise.

We are a mobile bar business and had our biggest event of the year on July 3rd. The staff member on duty, Tony, made the process super easy. John BI paid $49 for the rent and 10 miles, and they told me I'd have to pay extra if I drove. I drove 8 miles and returned on my own. They counted 65 dollars for me. This is a scam!

Steven CI secured a one-way rental. I asked for a discount of any sort and was told they could not do it there but I could ask at the return location. When I returned the truck , the manager said that was a lie, that only the original Location could have done a discount.
PETER DEnsure that the vehicle has enough fuel for the next customer. I picked up the vehicle with almost no fuel in the tank and returned it with probably $50 worth of gas in it and yet I was not reimbursed even though the clerk said I would be.

George BWhen I arrived there was no one in the office except another customer looking for an employee - I had to go outside and look around for someone who was in the Trailer bay under a car with headphones on and I had to shout to get to their attention. NO sense of urgency and never apologized for not seeing us. Parking lot was disorganized and unclear where to return trucks- Retuned the truck and handed the keys over and asked if I needed to sign anything - I was told "no" 2.5 hours later I get a call asking when I am bringing back the truck !!!!!! If I was the owner of this location I would be embarrassed on how badly this is run

gustavo mIt is always iffy with replacing gas. I got the tank at around 1/4, maybe less. I drove 8 miles but I put in 4 gallons and the needle barely moved. My opinion is to send the vehicle out with a full tank and demand a full tank upon return. It isn't the money --4 gallons won't break me-- it's the principle. Other than that, no complaints. I have used U-Haul for years and always come back to you. PS- Andre at the Burbank store was excellent.

Eric EWe did not realize that end of month beginning of month was a busy time for UHAUL. This particular UHAUL location was very busy. The size truck reserved, was not available as we were told it would be. The staff said the reps on the phone (apparently a different location) were not aware of what was or was not there. They sent us to another location--gratefully not too far--and helped with a small credit. It helped. We returned the truck in time and still keep getting an attempted charge for overtime on the truck. We think it's the location trying to charge because when we call about it--there is nothing on YOUR side saying we are being charged. The communication between locations before, during and after rentals should be better managed.

Adolfo QThe truck was somewhat clean, average maintenance, low tire pressure warnings, high mileage. Worked OK for a local under 10 mile move. The check out clerk could have cared less that we were a customer, the one who checked us back in was excellent. I would recommend this location for someone who needs a basic 'I just need a truck that works' rental.
