Their system was down when we went to pick up our uhaul. Maybe send an email prior to picking up for people to fill out paper work beforehand so that they can get the uhaul and go. It took us 30 minutes to do all the stuff online and get it approved since their system was down. I did apologize to the cashier as it was not his fault the system was down!

Paul SOur car was recently vandalized at this location. It's not a safe place to leave your vehicle after hours. Staff on site shared with us that they would give us video footage while police were present, but did not give it to us as promised. We followed up to find out from management that the footage cannot be given to us directly. We were given a general phone number and was routed three times to people who weren't helpful. The receptionist did not know how to direct us to the legal team, I found it on google, and they were also unhelpful. Clearer communication would have been appreciated from the beginning instead of circles of frustration. Will never return to this location or recommend it.

VAGNER CYour representative did not orient me to the vehicle. He handed me the key and showed me where it was parked. Not good for safety reasons. He could have been more helpful.

Jeffrey CWell just to let you know I went to the Lawnside uhaul first and they did not have my truck yet so I had to get a uber home and then 2 hours later said that I had to go to the deptford uhaul to pick up anther truck At that location. So inconvenient

DERRICK KThe location needs to have a designated area for the customers to park. Being mixed up with the rental vehicle and equipment is not convenient or safe. If it wasn’t for that I would have given a five star rating.
Bob WCommunication. We were not notified the pick up location had changed until the day of and we thought it was a mistake. I called U-Haul customer service asking to switch back to the original location I chose and ask the agent I spoke with, “can you guarantee this location has the vehicle I need?”. The agent assured me after switching the location back that they had the vehicle I reserved. Upon arriving to the location I originally reserved, the associate there said no we do not have one and you need to go to this other location. This through a wrench in our travel plans as the location we were being sent to then was further out of the way and if it was communicated to us earlier we would have had more time to plan. Very upsetting as this is the 2nd time something like this has happened.

Faheem SI have used this location so many times and never have had this experience but this particular truck was in really bad shape and I am going to outline all of the things that was wrong with it and I feel like for a loyal customer like me this is unacceptable and I should be discounted something for my troubles. I could have ruined the things that were in my truck because the suspensions and the shocks on that truck were completely gone.The visor kept falling down. It’s not secured. I didn’t have a handle to hold on to pull myself up to get on the truck. The tire light is on the car didn’t have a I didn’t have a rearview camera like the last one. The suspension is terrible. I hit every bump the car feels like the truck feels like it’s leaning on the left side. Driver door and passenger side door difficult to keep closed. Won’t close on the first time try have to slam it really hard. The door panel would pop and make a loud noise every time we open the door. It felt like it was going to pop off what if it popped off while I was driving or while I was using the truck just unacceptable. You really have to do better with your quality of vehicles

Louise AI was told it was 5/8 of a tank of gas and went left. It only had half a tank which I did not notice until I was down the road. I went 41 miles. I purchased $12 worth of gas and left a receipt in the truck. I was charged $22 more after that which I’m not happy about.
Ronald EUnit was clean but not well maintained. The drivers door indicator was malfunction and was hard to secure it closed. The tire pressure indicator was giving an indicator that needs service.
Lazaros PThe truck had all sand and rocks in the bed. I had to sweep it all out before putting my stuff in. I pad for 50 miles and went 8 over. I had left the truck with more than half a tank of gas though. I feel the gas should offset the milage. At the end of of my experience I had someone waiting to drive me home and a big truck pulled into return. The guy had them pull up behind the car waiting even though I notified him.
John HRenting our UHaul Van was a perfect experience. Jacob S was so knowledgeable and friendly. The rest of the staff was so nice too. I would highly recommend this location.

grace vBack gate for the trailer didn’t have a pin to keep it closed and was rigged with chains and screw closed carribeaners. I had to drive to a hardware store to unscrew and open the gate. This rigging of the gate is unsafe and rendered the gate useless

However, when I returned to my vehicle in the U-Haul parking lot, I discovered that it appears another car or truck had hit my car, resulting in a broken taillight. There were pieces scattered on the ground around my vehicle. I called the location early in the morning and was advised to submit a claim. I am very disappointed that no one notified me about the damage, and I had to return late at night to find my vehicle in that condition. I would appreciate a prompt review of this matter, including any available camera footage, and guidance on the next steps to resolve this situation.

JAMES CI have used this location many, many times. I reserved a cargo van as that is what I needed. When I arrived, the van was there and the keys were missing and could not be located. I will say the man on duty was also frustrated by this and was very accommodating in getting me into a 10ft box truck so at least I had something. The box truck was not clean inside the cab and the steering wheel shook while driving at certain speeds so it may need to be serviced. I put that I would recommend the location because out of the many times I have used this location, this is the only time I had an issue so maybe it was a one-off experience.
MICHAEL DTerrible - I originally scheduled a UHaul pickup for 10:30 (mobile pickup) at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Clementon 08021 I called UHC and they advised me the location was rescheduled due to snow at 11:02 to LOUS AUTOMOTIVE CENTER 08012 and then at 11:17am it was rescheduled AGAIN to U-HAUL OF DEPTFORD, 08096 I don't see how this is fair. They did not advise us until AFTER our reservation time and we were driving all over to get a UHaul. All UHC could do was lower our mileage rate which I feel is still unfair. ANTHONY PMy issue was I paid in full per rep at the location however uhaul continued to try to charge my card for almost double my rental more than once. I have emails from my bank however the location knows nothing! Very frustrating

Tim RI reserved a hand truck, you had none. My initial receipt said there was 3/4 tank of gas. The truck was empty and said service the airbag. I went back in, my assigned another truck with the alert that the tires needed servicing. This is ridiculous. I didn’t rent from you guys in August because you couldn’t attach a hitch to my SUV. I’m done. Never again. I have photos of the above if you don’t believe me

DAVE RAssociates working the counter didn’t explain or seemed to care about concerns I had brought to their attention. Also was eating their food in front of me while at the counter and talked with their mouths full.
Jason FWhen I first arrived they tried to give me a truck with no gas and told me that I had to put gas on me and they would reimburse me. When I objected to it they made me wait and took other customers while I stood there. Then finally he comes back in and tells me he found a truck that had a full tank. Every single time I go to the Deptford location on Hurffville road there is an issue. It never fails

JOHANNA Aat no fault of the person at the shop. i am a fleet manager of over 500 trucks so i am familiar with this environment. the truck i was using needed to be serviced. the front end needed an alignment or barring's or both. the engine had a bad valve tap. the mirrors were bolted in a fixed position and were not able to be adjusted for safe driving. the staff at the location were very helpful and very easy to work with. thank you
