Person who checked us in for the truck (Joshua?) was very helpful. Showed me the U-Haul App that I would need later that day to turn in the truck at a different location. One issue on your preventative maintenance. The back of the truck door sounded funny from the first lift and close and sure enough something snapped with the spring that made the door inoperable due to the cables later that day.

Went to pick up a cargo van and it was full of dog hair and it smelled like a wet dog so I had to settle for a pickup truck.

I had to go to the Deptford location because I booked the Neighborhood Dealer (On the Way in Sicklerville, NJ) and they were horrible. I rented a car tow and he (at On the Way) had no idea how to hook it up. He said it was our responsibility and Deptford said the opposite. Deptford saved the day for me and they were very knowledgeable.

Don't give me a vehicle with gas tank 11/18 and expect the same amount back.... Just give the customer a full tank so it can be easier to fill up. Got charged more because the gas I returned wasn't exactly the same amount... Greedy corporation finding every sad excuse to rip customers off.

Be certain that the gas tank is full. The gas needle was not on full, so it cost me more to fill up before I returned the truck. It wasn't a 'sticky' needle because when I refueled before returning the vehicle the needle actually went slightly beyond the full marker.

The phone check in process takes long and after getting through all the steps my key was not available. The employees brought the keys inside so I still had to go inside, wait in line for an available rep in order to to get my key.

When receiving our truck, we waited over an hour and a half to get help from customer service to receive the code to get the keys. It was absolutely horrible and frustrating and I do not plan on using U-Haul again.

I requested to drop off the trailer early when I rented it, the guy in the shop said no problem. I returned the trailer the evening before it was due to be returned (and provided the slip in their drop box as directed). The next day I received a call from Paul from the Uhaul location telling me I had not returned it yet, it was due back 2 hours ago, and they wanted to "know my intentions, or if there's a problem." I called them back and informed the woman who answered I returned the trailer the evening before, she denied it being there. I asked her whether she had the paperwork, she said something to the effect that it might be in the box, but there's no trailer. I told her she needs to double check, after some heated discussion she personally went out to the lot and double-checked every trailer, and it WAS in fact there. I was very displeased as the level of customer service I received was horrible. Moreover, the woman could not answer whether she had the return paperwork or not because no one bothered to double check that either. The staff at this location is completely incompetent--in my opinion, before you call a customer demanding to know their intentions with an unreturned rental, you better damn sure confirm that the rental is, in fact, not already in your possession.

I rented a truck after making a reservation I still had to wait for a truck to be some what ready inside was not whipped out properly and truck made a weird noise Wile using to move. It was some what swept in like 2 mins by the rep at the location but did not mind since i was moving furniture nothing major. But was charged $25 plus form cleaning, such a rip off and I will dispute the transaction with bank if not corrected.
