I rented a car trailer, It had mud/grass thrown up on it from tires. It was even on the tire straps. The ratchet straps where in need of lubrication. Other than that it was in decent shape.

It was a problem that I could not have gotten the same equipment closer to my home. I passed a large U-haul operator (on white horse pike in NJ that HAD the equipment when I was supposed to pick it up and it was still there when I dropped off the trailer. This was the place where I made the reservation. Try to accommodate the customer. This process added 16 miles of total extra time to pick up the trailer and drop it off.

The steering was loose on the truck which made it wondered at high speeds causing difficulty staying in my lane. I own a truck with 60,000 more miles than the one I rented, which was at 98,000, and it doesn't have this problem.

I have rented a 4x9 trailer three times and it bounces all over the road because the wheels are not turning well. The trailers need maintenance. I’d I could find somewhere else for 14 dollars I would stop using your stuff

The location its self was fine, but I had a huge issue with the online mobile check in. I am in the process of moving from PA to NJ. I set up a uhaul rental in NJ, and attempted to use the online check in to expedite my process. The person who was checking my information, I believe his name was Adam, refused to accept my drivers license because it was a PA license. He demanded something showing a NJ address, which I explained to him I do not have yet because I am in the process of moving. He was rude and unwilling to help me. He actually stopped responding to me all together once I let him know the law states one has 30 days to update to a new drivers license once they move. I told him how could I have anything with a NJ address on it if I was currently moving? He refused to respond. Luckily the uhaul location was still open so I went in and the worker on duty helped me rent my uhaul.

Only regret was fuel gauge was off when I took truck. I was running late for pick up so I could not go back. I would think they would look at mileage at beginning and end and base your gas charge on this. I could see charging me 1 gallon but not 2. Also why don’t you build a gallon in the upfront charge. In reality who is going to stop and get one gallon.

I was waiting for your sales/counter rep. To help me on the return of my van after a very long and somewhat unproductive weekend, watching him provide the service to another customer that I would have expected him to provided to me. After waiting and waiting, while I was in a hurry. I was getting a little upset, but definitely realized that he can could only do so much. My wife pulled up and I knew that I was making her late for work, so this added to my stress as well. He finally came in to help me and before he could talked, I stated that I was waiting, in a rush, he said, sure I understand. I can email you your receipt, and I left. Here is my main point...if I knew that I could have dropped off the key, and an email could be sent to me to close out the transaction, I would have been in and out much quicker, I would have been that much happier. This is not a shot at the rep who helped me as much as if I was informed of the quicker drop off, receipt emailed to me when he had the time to process the work, I would have been like...I dropped off the keys, you have my me if you have a question or problem, and have been in and out. Not knowing that you provide this beneficial service does not help in my stress level at that time. Would have been great to know a head of time. Thanks. E-d.
