David at the drop off location in Knoxville was outstanding! He quickly checked the truck and got us on our way. I notified him of the roach issue in the box area to ensure that it would be fumigated before leased to someone else.

Inspect tires prior to rental. Learn to change a tire on-sight. Make it right with a timely partial refund. Dont charge a late fee when you caused us to be 4 hours late and drive past midnight. Have your manger on duty take charge rather than walk away from an upset customer.

The employee that checked me in went outside to hook up the trailer and perform my safety checks to make sure the trailer worked and the lights were functional. Upon placing the trailer on the hitch, he forgot to screw the hitch onto the ball. He told me to drive around to pick up my dolly, and when I drove forward about 30 yards the trailer came completely off of my vehicle and almost skidded into the back of my brand new car. Luckily, the ball on my hitch stopped the trailer from ramming my car and causing serious damage. Upon returning my trailer (to a different location), the attendant made it a point to mention the chains were hooked up completely wrong and incredibly unsafely. That is unacceptable.

Never rent a truck that does not have all the mirrors, lights and windshield wipers in excellent condition. This makes driving difficult and dangerous.

The windshield was dirty, and I had to ask to have it cleaned. Then the attendant found the drivers side wiper blade was bad, and put on a new one. The inside of the windshield was noted as dirty after I started my trip. Also, the interior could have been cleaned better. The drivers side door had a squeaking and bad hinges. I had to slam the door to get it to close. Prior to unloading the truck in Kentucky, there was a heavy rain. Rain leaked into the truck and ruined several boxes. The mattress also was wet. I have pictures of the wet boxes and the rain puddles inside the rental truck. I would like some consideration in return for a leaky truck rental!

It is very difficult getting calls answered at this location. Typical time to wait is well over 5 minutes. When picking up the truck, the agent didn't give me any information about how to handle dropping off the truck on a Sunday, when the location wasn't open. I had to call back for another 6-8 minute wait, to get the drop off instructions. I couldn't get the U-Haul App to accept my account, so just left a copy of my contract & keys at the other location. Also, would have preferred that the truck was full of gas when I picked it up, instead of 3/4 full. It was hard to guess how much gas I needed to put in to get back to that amount of gas. It would have been easier to know that I just needed to fill it up again before dropping it off.

The agent that handled our transaction entered an incorrect gas amount, which we went back in and had him correct on site, but he also entered an incorrect mileage number (a difference of almost 42,000 miles!), which we did not noticed until drop off, causing us to be unable to do 24/7 drop off and then I had to make arrangements the following morning to get a real person to assist because your customer service (ha) reps are clueless.

I had a good experience with this rental process. I set up my reservation online and was on the road in less than 10 minutes after arriving at the location. When I returned the van someone greeted me as I pulled in. Both of the associates with whom I interacted were professional and friendly.

Clean, lots of selection of rental items. Friendly staff. Needs a line just for reservations. Took over 40 minutes waiting for help when everything except showing ID was completed online prior. That was wayyyyyyy to long.

Very knowledgeable courteous staff. Josh and his team were excellent. I am a retired business professional and I was impressed by the service I received. U-Haul is lucky to have a well managed and staffed location like this one. I will return anytime I need rental equipment and will let my friends know that this location is the place to go.

I asked the guy at drop off If I was getting charged for an extra day since I picked up Thursday night instead of Friday morning and he said no it’s all set with no extra charge. So that was 2 U-Haul employees telling me I would NOT get charged for an extra day and they ended up charging me $45 for an extra day anyway!! That is total BS because if I had known that I would have just waited until 8 am Friday to pick the truck up.

The truck required service, as I was advised when I picked it up from the center. The driver side door was very challenging to completely close. The noise inside the cab was significant on the highway.

Pickup of trailer was easy and very helpful service person!!! I would have rated this location a 10+++; even the return was relatively easy and the service person who unhooked my trailer asked if an email receipt was OK? I said yes - BIG MISTAKE!!! Two days pass and no email receipt. Called U-Haul and they say no record of a return was in the system?????? So finally I get a call from the rental location and Josh indicates he will run the tapes as he has no idea if it was returned??? And yes, he called back and he verified in fact that I had returned the trailer and I received an email receipt. I had read a few reviews indicating problems with this location and I guess I should have obtained a printed receipt at the drop off time. Disappointed renter!

Windows were really dirty and washer fluid was empty. Drivers seat was torn. Floors were dirty. It would have been nice for desk associate to point out fuel gauge and the way it indicates how many gallons you need to refill the tank. Customer service was very nice, very helpful.

CHANGE YOUR ONLINE SYSTEM OF RESERVING EQUIPMENT. THE ONLINE REPRESENTATIVE WAS NOT WELL-INFORMED REGARDING THE TYPE OF EQUIPMENT I NEEDED, IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO HAUL A TRAILER. LUCKILY, THE FARRAGUT PERSONNEL WERE ABLE TO FIX THE MESS MADE BY THE ONLINE REP.

Person who checked me in gave no instruction - just sign and go. After I got on the road I realized the rear passenger tire was bald and a danger to drive on. I returned the truck a day early and returned 3 of the packages of blankets unopened but could not receive any type of credit. I didn't expect a full day discount but some amount could be deducted in this type of scenario

I have had nothing but EXCELLENT SERVICE from this U-Haul. The Management & Staff are extremely helpful and friendly to all your moving needs. I have had many services provided this week including a Tow Kit put on my CRV for the rental of a 5x8 Cargo Trailer since I’m moving to Florida. I also rented a 15in truck for 6 days moving my items to storage and bought all my Supplies from Uhaul as well. They are much CHEAPER than the other CONVENIENT DISCOUNT STORES . I highly recommend UHAUL of Farragut and ask for Brett !

There are several U-Haul rental places up here in Oak Ridge but none of them have the small trailers on-site. The Farragut location is not at all convenient for my rental needs.
