Location was great but the reservation process was abhorrent. Disorganized, not consistent, and had me scrambling. Likely due to your franchise model, customers are at the mercy of limited resources. Also, options are not presented for the best customer outcome. For example, I needed a one way truck but could have just as easily rented a local resource to accommodate my needs. Your internal processes and constraints do not make the customer experience, when it comes to reservations, very positive.

I had placed a reservation for a truck at my local UHaul station, but someone from the Santa Clarita office (?) contacted me to tell me the location had no trucks to rent afterall. They then helped me find a truck elsewhere, which I thought was extraordinary service. Side note - given the current Californian rental truck shortage, would it be a feasible to send out a call for people to hop on a bus and drive some trucks back for a nominal fee + gas + food + lodging?

First at all, be waiting the Customer with the equipment ready, I reserve the day before a trailer, when I got there, was dirty and full of stain of oil, and with light that wasn't working, and the associate didn't anything to solve the problem, told me to cancel, but they don't have another trailer to offer, and I have to take the way it was, because I was in a hurry, with appt to drop my ATV, with risk to get a ticket, because the right tail light wasn't working, be more responsible with the equipment that you rent, protect your Customer, and before rent check, and provide with the right equipment that we pay for. Totally disappointed ☹️

I had a very good experience with UHAUL. After renting the truck for certain hours, I had to extend 2 hours to return the truck, due to an unexpected matter. I called, and the 2 hours were extended immediately with no extra cost. Thank you

I had to use this location since the closer location in Burbank on Hollywoodway did not have my Reserved Trailer since the MORON who rented it NEVER RETURNED IT ON TIME !! This was not UHAULS fault but that of a selfish idiot that didn't respect others. I hope they charged him a fortune for not returning the equipment on time !! The Burbank UHAUL was great to find me another trailer at the last minute that was luckily 10 miles away. I rented mine for 2 days so I wouldn't screw the next customer like this MORON did !!!!

My sister went in ,in person and asked if it was possible to switch the pick from Elsinore to Glendale and the person said he'd do it. Well he didn't. However it turned out okay.

The guy who helped me check the trailer out got the estimation wrong. Also, he couldn't rent me the equipment- he had to sell it to me. I PAID FOR SOMETHING I WILL LITERALLY NEVER USE AGAIN. UHAUL'S FAULT- YOU SHOULD HAVE THE BALL AND LIGHT ATTACHMENTS AVAILABLE FOR RENT. The guy who checked me in upon return was very nice.

One of a kind family wooden crest which we packed as instructed was broken when it got to Annapolis. . .however, the staff in Glendale lead by general Manager Avi Ithier were so kind and helpful during the month it took to get things packed and sent. . .I am going to the office today to see if the insurance I had on the container will cover the broken item which can be fixed.

“First come, first served” should be implemented. I ended up waiting for almost an hour before getting a truck. People who just arrived who initially asking simple questions at the counter which should be okay. Bad part is that he keeps asking questions for more than 5 minutes until he was able to get his equipment before us. Worst part is both guys at the counter are entertaining one person while the rest of us waiting for our turn. After him, other people followed. All of them were at the end of the line! I believe that since there is only one line at the counters, either mobile or counter transactions should be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The truck was not washed making it difficult to see whether there were any damages. Inside was not wiped down, I was told they just use a blower to blow it out. When I touched the floor and the Mom's attic space my hand got filthy.

Our uhaul broke down due to malfunction and poor maintenance. A replacement was not brought to us and we weren't compensated properly for the loss of time and money a poorly maintained truck caused us.

The customer service was mediocre, perhaps they are understaffed but there was only 3 employees available to assist. Their office is tiny therefore no space to comfortably wait in line while they were dealing with others customers not to mention the lack of proper space to practice social distancing. No one acknowledge that I was waiting in line and that I would be helped shortly. Once I received the keys and was instructed to self inspect the vehicle I noticed the vehicle was dirty both inside and out it literally looked like it had just been returned which made me question if it had been cleaned, disinfected or if proper mechanical maintenance for fluids/brake check etc. had even taken place. The following day as I returned the vehicle I encountered the same situation line out the door, so I had to pop my head in and interrupt by asking if there was a self check in option in order to return the vehicle on time then I was told that yes I could do it through the app and to simply leave the keys in the vehicle. So as I proceeded a few other people standing in line step out and proceeded to complete their returns through their phones as well. This information should be disclosed upon renting the vehicle and it would help to have it posted for customers to read instead of waiting in line risking any additional fee for a late return in case they decide to wait in line to be helped by a representative. I've used this company before at a different location (Pasadena) and received more professional service there. Went to this location bc it's closer to my home but next time I will most likely go to the other location.

First of all, you gave me a truck with the engine light on and the empty light on. Second of all when we dropped it off at the U-Haul location Where I put the end zip code at ,we weren't aware that it was a local truck because, well I'm in the process of moving all of my things so I assumed that by putting another zip code in that THAT would be my drop off location. So when we dropped it off at one location the night before the next day your branch decided to call me an hour before closing and tell me that I had to rush to that U-Haul and bring that truck to your location in Glendale and that you already charge me two days anyways so this was just to prevent you from charging me Double for two days. Next, after you told me why I was charged two days then I asked what time I could've turned it in for one day and you said 10 AM but again even though you open at 7 AM you didn't call me until 4 PM when I had to have the truck turned in by five so thank you very much for that EXTRA $100+ that I had to pay. Yeah, overall not a great experience and I'll be using ANY other place next time.

Hi I was satisfied with your services but one of the reasons I didn't give you five star is that the service on your premises is a bit slow and one should push for the things (like checking in). The other part is insurance. I took insurance but obviously your system is not like other rental companies. They have asked me to check the car because windows and roof was not covered!!! This was very strange and different from regular car rental companies.

The UBox was guaranteed for delivery in Glendale on 6/30/18. It arrived on 7/2/18. No one could tell me where it was or when it would be delivered. UHaul owes me $150 for the three days it was late!
