Nancy SThe car I was rented had a faulty battery. It died twice while in the middle of my move. There was also no flexibility with the return location. Despite the battery dying and my being concerned about the truck and its return, I was told I had to bring it back or continue to be charged. I was not informed I had a truck that needed to return to its original location. I will not use Uhaul again.

JAMES DWhen I returned to the location to drop off my rental vehicle, I pulled up to the sign and waited for awhile, as the sign instructed me to wait in the vehicle until an employee came out for me to finish the rental (I assume to review the odometer/mileage with me, check the fuel level, look for damage in the vehicle, etc.). After about five minutes of waiting, I went into the building. There were no customers in the store, but there were two employees behind the counter who were looking busy on their phones. Neither looked at me or spoke to me. I finally spoke to them, letting them know I was returning the vehicle. I asked if there was anything I needed to do, and they said no, they would take care of everything. Then they went back to looking at their phones. No goodbye, no thank you (I had a similar experience when I had picked up the vehicle that morning - virtually no interaction whatsoever, no greeting, no thank you). They weren't nasty to me or anything, but I hardly felt acknowledged for even being there with them. I think a little basic customer service training is warranted.

Thanks to them and their motorcycle trailers I use often! They know me now, I haul so many motorcycles. :-). And thank you U-HAUL for that price point. I love using the trailers there, and if the price was more expensive... I'd probably buy my own. So this price keeps me coming back. TY

Adrian DI had a reservation for Sunday Oct. 12. After looking at the weather forecast, I decided to stop in the Glenside PA location and see if I could switch my reservation to Saturday Oct 11. The young lady who helped me ( I didn't take notice of her name) was so pleasant and nice that I felt comfortable right from the start. She was able to switch my reservation to 4:30 that afternoon with such ease and confidence. Fast forward to 4:10pm on 10/11 when I showed up. The U-haul employee, Fred, was terrific. He was very personable and funny and made me feel comfortable. He informed me that a few people came it and inquired about the truck I reserved but he saw the reservation and directed them elsewhere. Fred was wonderful and did a great job providing me information for the rental. Both Fred and the young lady in the morning were great examples of what customer service is all about. JOSEPH TUHaul of Glenside saved the day! I wish I could remember the name of the representative who helped us. We made the mistake of renting a van from Home Depot and they canceled the reservation that morning, so we came into UHaul without a reservation. The representative quickly found us the right size van, recommended the most-effective plan for the mileage we planned to drive, and got us out the door and on our way. He was friendly and helpful. We won't make the mistake of renting from anywhere other than U-Haul of Glenside again!

Matthew EThe vehicle was clean but not well maintained.The suspension on the truck was terrible. We were doing a round trip from PA to NY (about 200 miles) and it was not a good experience. The air condition did not work properly. It was blowing hot air when the temperature outside was about 90 degrees. Cool air only came on when the truck was driven over 50 mile speed. Driving in NY back to back slow traffic we had to drive without the air. Also, the sign for low tire pressure was on the whole time and we were nervous about it (even though the rep at the store stated that the low tire pressure sign is ok). These trucks have 15 year old technology. U-Haul needs to upgrade their vehicles
