I put all my info online and have an account... after one location failed to appear they sent my driver to another location and demanded payment in there, even though all my info is available at U-Haul.com

Cheated me on my return mileage and charged me $17 for the haul away deal and it was suppose to be $10.

I was told I could drop the truck back off at a different location. 2 days later I get a call saying I was 2days late returning the truck, when I’m fact the truck was returned that same night. I was also told my card would not be charged for the 2days but not even an hour later my bank notified me that they just charged me for those 2days. Now I have to wait a few days to get my money back after I was told I wasn’t getting charged. This was their mistake but I’m being penalized for it. This was a horrible experience.

The truck was not clean and I returned truck same day and the receipt is falsely showing I returned it the following day and even though the truck was dirty when given to me and I returned it in better condition then when I received it uhaul is trying to charge me a cleaning fee

I have never had a worse experience with a company than I have had with U-Haul during my moving weekend. I reserved a uhaul 17" at 314-322 N 13th St on Sunday, June 9th, 2019 for a uhaul on Saturday, June 29th, 2019. So, on June 10th, they confirm the uhaul. The email states "We have a 17' Moving Van reserved for you and guaranteed Saturday, 6/29/2019 at 9:00 AM, returning Saturday, 6/29/2019 at 4:00 PM. We are located at 4857 CHESTNUT ST, PHILADELPHIA, PA 19139 and our phone number is (215) 471-4137". They change the location to a much farther location. Okay, no big deal, just a longer commute on uber. So, now, fast forward to Saturday, June 29th. I am on a uber with my roommate to the pickup location which is like 20 minutes away. We arrive and the company tells us they do not have any available uhaul. I receive a voicemail that states my reservation was changed, as well as an email stating the same thing. This new reservation is even farther outside the city, at 2 pm (half a day later), and not even a 17', but rather a 15' uhaul. "We have a 15' Moving Van reserved for you and guaranteed Saturday, 6/29/2019 at 2:00 PM, returning Sunday, 6/30/2019 at 9:00 AM. We are located at 101 W HUNTING PARK AVE, PHILADELPHIA,PA 19140 and our phone number is (215) 324-3344. I got to click the link and it doesn't work. I call uhaul corporate and put me on the hold, no available people right now for nearly an hour. We have to take a uhaul back to our apartment and wait until the afternoon reservation. We then take another uber to this location. Pickup the truck. Upon pickup, they had gotten both the mileage incorrect and gas. So, I made them reprint out a new receipt, which states if I refill gas to 1/4 tank, then I receive a reimbursement. I then move out all my stuff (mind you we lost a reservation to use freight elevator so we had to use normal elevator, as well as lost some moving help because couldn't go at that time), and return the vehicle. I then receive a bill that completely ignores the gas refund, and gets the mileage incorrect, making me pay for extra mile.

I reserved a mobile pickup for 7:30 am. I got a confirmation for my mobile pick up at the designated location. When I arrived and tried to pick up my truck at my reserved time, I was notified that I would be hand delivered my truck at 9 am when the store opened. This is unacceptable because of the confirmation of my reservation. If I'm not able to pick up my truck at my reserved time at a certain location DO NOT send me a confirmation. Instead, notify me of my new pick up time so I am not wasting my time and money on hired help.

The gentleman that helped us was very pleasant and informative. However, the experience was tainted by the nasty dirty truck. We expected the back to be dusty,maybe even a little dirty but the front cabin was deplorable! Please clean the vehicles, the truck was just filthy!

In my reservation I didn't need a dolly, it was in the truck but not bolted down, just loose. Mentioned to employee and he pulled it out of the truck. ~this isn't a complain just a comment about it being present but not locked. Would have been better locked and present or not in the truck at all, though I didn't need it either way. - thanks

The employee lied to us to pay more for the rent, because we rented at 2:30 p.m. and delivered it to the next day at 10:30 a.m. and the employee told us that we could deliver it at 3:00 p.m. next day, if we had delivered it at 3:00 p.m. the employee was going to charge us 2 days of rent.

Make sure make sure the vehicles are inspected and clean the vehicle that was given to me was full of motor oil all through cargo area damaging a brand new mattress that I purchased
