I think for the price you pay for the rental you should give a certain amount of miles included in your package. It sucks to go with a company that charges $40 for a rental and then almost $2 a mile.

Waited in line for an hour to pick up the uhaul. Got insurance but once I got the truck I realized I didn’t want insurance because it was dirty inside, was all neat up on the outside. Went to tell them I didn’t want insurance but had to wait in line again and didn’t have another hour to waste. I brought the truck back 30 minutes late due to an accident on 95 S and they charged me a whole extra day plus an extra day of insurance! I told them I kept calling you guys to let you know about this major accident and let you know I’m on my way and the guys response was We Busy. Would never recommend! The worst part was the lady in front of me had a similar situation (she was returning an hour late) and her let her go without paying the extra day!

The clerk didn't explain that truck was to be returned with a full gas tank. He also said I started with a full tank and that was incorrect. When I had to go back to fill the tank it took me over $17 and I only traveled 21 miles.

My U Haul experience with wasn't a good one. I called to reserve a truck. The representative that I spoke to over the phone stated that I would have the truck for 24 hours. When I go to pick the truck up the representative at the store tells me that I only can have the truck for 8 hours because it's the weekend and they are in demand for the trucks. I begin to let them know the 8 hours isn't going to work for me. The representative let me know that if the truck wasn't returned by a certain time that I would be charged an additional fee of $100. When U Haul knew they were in need of extra trucks they should've called me back to let me know so that I could've made different arrangements. I made arrangements with my movers according to the 24 hour period. We accomplished what was needed to be done but there was an extra expense that came along with it.
