I initially had a challenge using the 24/7 app pickup option. However, both Breanna and Christian were very helpful and patient. They saved the experience for me, to be honest. I have reserved 20' truck on Shaw Ave, then I have received email that my reservation is confirmed for this location which was 10 miles away from my home. I have talked to them to reserved it for me on nearest location and they gave me reservation on shield Ave but when I arrived there for pick up they didn't have it. Upon return I pulled up and waited for a few minutes in the return vehicle. After no one came to me I went inside where I waited until another customer was being taken care. I step to the counter, where I was asked, â€œmay I help you,â€ I replied I'd like to return my rental. He replied, â€œthey will help you outside.â€ I went outside and asked the guy blowing out a retuned vehicle, Sir can help me with this return. He was working on another vehicle, but he told me he was in a break. I sat in my personal car and waited for an unnecessary period of time before he came over.Hurley T.

Trailer was great, the dolly was in pretty bad shape and I noticed it after I was across town. The staff made it right though. Overall the owner and his staff are fantastic!RICK S.
I changed my truck size on my reservation and received an email confirming my changes but was never informed that the location would then be changing so I went to the wrong place. With the truck fee, insurance and mileage I paid $175 upfront. When I returned the truck it showed that I was actually under the mileage I prepaid for and was told I would get a credit. Uhaul didn't mamually check my truck in so I received a phone call asking me where the equipment was. I told them I had returned it on the correct day and was even getting a mileage credit. The clerk said ok, they just haven't checked it in, I will call them and you will be fine. Because the equipment wasn't checked in to their computer, they put an additional $98 hold on my debit card which came to a total of $275 tied up in my checking account for what should have been $162 with my mileage credit. When you call, the automated recording tells you your pending hold could take 4-5 business days to be released. Awesome. I just spent $4500 getting in to a new rental house and now there is over $100 of my funds I can't touch until who knows when. To top it off, they gave me a truck with only 1/4 tank of gas in it. That doesn't go far considering these trucks get 10 MPG. I won't recommend them and will never use the location on Ventura again.Angela N.

When my husband went to pick up our trailer rental they asked for a security deposit, in which they asked if it was by card or cash. He put a $100 cash deposit and they told him it would be returned upon return of the rental. He showed up and returned the rental on time and cleaned the â€œownerâ€ denied any deposit and did not return our deposit back.. NEVER AGAIN will we be renting from them.. we have never had any of these issues with other U-haul locationsRICARDO Z.

Check in process was much easier than checking in â€œin personâ€ much faster ...no one wants to spend forever inside the building checking out when you've got lots of moving to do after...want to get it and get my day started already ...so thanks for thatMichelle E.
Personally, I would have preferred to have a representative with me while inspecting the vehicle prior to accepting said vehicle. This way, any prior damage that had not been noted could be addressed. When I asked the representative about any prior damage, he shrugged me off and told me it had already been inspected. However, I found some trash in the passenger door compartment and a keychain with a Key Fob and one key under the passenger seat. So how well was this vehicle inspected? I just don't know. Not too well, I think. And Yes, I plan to return the keychain to the Uhaul Office.Eric S.
