GARY SI had a problem with the gas consumption of the step van that I rented. Specifically, I had to refill just under 5 gallons of gas for a 30 mile trip, which seemed to me excessive, and I suspected that perhaps the tank hadn't been full when I got the vehicle. Upon my return to the facility, I spoke with an employee (initials R.A.) to whom I expressed my concern. He said that without a time-stamped picture of the fuel gauge, nothing could be done. This seemed unreasonable, so I asked to speak with a supervisor or manager. I was led into the office, and while trying to explain my concern to the assistant manager, R.A. kept interrupting, even though I told him that I wanted to speak for myself. Eventually, the asst mgr told him to go back outside and continue checking-in mine and other vehicles. As he walked outside, I clearly heard him say that I could "F- myself"! I immediately walked outside myself and yelled to him as he was walking away(he was 20-30 feet away by then) to confirm what I had just clearly heard him say, but he just kept walking and refused to turn around. I went back inside and told the asst. mgr. what I'd heard, and I was livid at being spoken to that way. He hadn't heard anything, but apologized on behalf of R.A. We continued our discussion, and I made it clear that although I didn't believe that the initial problem with the gas was intentional, I did believe that a mistake had occurred and that the vehicle's tank likely hadn't actually been full at the outset. He indicated that, unfortunately, he couldn't do anything to resolve the issue, and we ended our conversation with him giving me the name of the employee so that I could follow-up with a complaint to U-Haul. As I left, I passed R.A. in the parking lot, who denied having said anything, and he told me to have a nice evening, which I interpreted as being less than sincere. No employee should EVER speak that way to a customer!

WILLIAM JEmployees with attitude walking around on their phones. I arrive to pick up a truck to an employee who obviously would rather be home chilling in bed as opposed to doing his job. Go to this U-Haul and you’ll find yourself wondering why you’d even bother. Customer service here is less than 0% I won’t be back.

SORN SHorrible customer service both for kirkland and vancouver locations. They gave me a damaged truck and asked me to pay for the damage when I dropped off. The white trash old lady working at cascade park self service storage treatend me to charge extra $25 for a cleaning fee for just 3 spots and for the damage which I didn't do. Finally I didn't pay anything. She also acted very rude about my name and she corrected me I'm not returning the truck bcz it's was a one way rental, it should be dropping the truck off the truck. It was simply rude. No wonder she's working there. I'm not even talking about the moving help service the guys who didn't even show up for loading the truck and still demanded for the payment. And u-haul said its 3rd party service and they are not responsible for it. Lost 3 hours. Just hire professional guys. Don't rent a truck or order any kind of service forum U-haul

STEPHEN VSince I only rented padding, it took only a small amount of time to be serviced and on my way. The rental fee was a bargain! It’s also great that you open at 7:00 AM. Some of your competitors don’t open until 10:00 AM and that would not have worked for me, so thanks.

RACHAEL PThey added a 4-gallon fuel fee even though the vehicle was driven 11 miles and returned with more fuel than it had when it left. Deceptive practices and not even logical. Is the implication that the vehicle gets less than 3 miles to the gallon? If so, you guys have terrible trucks.
JEFFREY RThe person that checked us in was great. Friendly and efficient. When we dropped the vehicle off, still during business hours (5:45 ish), there was a big sign that said to park there and stay with the vehicle until someone comes out to help. No one came. I finally used the U-Haul app to self-check out and left the keys in the drop box. They weren't busy, so it was weird that no one came to help.
GARY HWhen I returned the van, on time, I was like, oh, I forgot the fuel (2 gallons) and the kid said, it was $6/gal to fuel up, so I said "go for it." There was no mention of a $30 fueling charge! What a rip off! I am beyond pissed at this bait and switch.
JON TThe vehicle pick up area smelled very strongly of gasoline. Thought it was the truck we were given. Then realized it was a strong smell throughout the lot. In the other van we were given to replace our first one the drivers visor was broken and obstructing the drivers view. Also the low tire gauge came on. It doesn't seem like the rental vehicles are check very well after a rental.

DEBRA SI originally had booked on line out if Woodinville WA to Sisters, OR. A $100 discount was offered if I dropped in Bend, OR. A few days previous to the rental date U Haul Seattle Traffic (not the local dealer) called to say "no truck available at the Woodinville location you have to pickup at Mill Creek, its only 6 miles away." In reality its 23 miles and 38min each way. I told her " I don't believe it, my wife was just happend to be at 85thstreet in Kirkland and the guy said, "plenty of trucks"". I called 85th and got my truck and cancelled the original reservation. If U Haul needs equipment relocated, that's not my problem or U Haul can offer a discount or just not lie to me about what is where. I dropped in Sisters, the $100 for going to Bend was gone after cancel. The truck and the dealerships are great.

BRIAN CMy experience was a little different from other times I've used Uhaul services. The check-in service was excellent. The employee at the counter was very attentive, explaining all the procedures and available options. However, we were surprised by the rudeness, petulance, and arrogance of the employee outside the store. I don't know his name, but he's a young man with long blond hair. I asked for information, and he gave a completely rude response. I decided to let it go. I thought to myself that he wasn't having a good day. When I went to pick up the truck I had rented, I couldn't leave because another truck was blocking the exit. I asked him to move the truck so I could get out. Then, as expected, he acted like a spoiled child and told me to go to the counter and change the truck key to a different identification number. He repeated this number countless times as if he were angry about what he was doing. That's when the young man who was at the counter arrived and resolved everything in a polite manner.

Muneer MKeep hiring and paying well employees like the young man that helped me in Kirkland WA. I cannot find my receipt right to give the exact location but it is located in Rosehill not to far from the 405 freeway entrance.
SADIE LSometimes it is a bit busy at this location, but this time it was smooth sailing! I was in and out of there quickly at both pickup and drop off! The truck I rented was relatively new and clean. It was easy to drive. Thank you!
