I reserved over phone for early morning 6am pickup and got confirmation. A night prior I got a call that they don't do morning pickup and 8 am store opens and that is when I can pickup. I had to reschedule everything I had planned.GAUREV J.

Move the equipment away from in front of the key box, which makes it difficult to access. After I managed to drop the key in the slot, when I was backing away my foot went off down and I litteraly fell and landed on my face. I had a camera bag on my back and a fanny bag. Luckily I fell on the left side of my face, not full on, and I didn't try to stop my fall with my arms (happened so fast). It took a few minutes to sit up but then I couldn't get up. No one around. Luckily a uhaul truck pulled in straight at me and stopped. He said he didn't see me. He helped me to my feet, talked, and I walked to my car at Costco. Bottom line, hurt my left knee and bruised ribs. Nothing broken. So please make the key box more accessible. Thanks! PS My rescuers name was Jake.Susan H.
The young man that helped me was great - very polite and helpful. I was annoyed that I could not leave my car in the parking lot or in the lot close by but was told that my car would be towed. I had to drive down to Costco and park my car and then walk back to U-Haul. It is not a far distance its that it is annoying for your clients to have no where to park. I would use this location again only because of the great employees.Jana E.

I would prefer that my experience online matched the in store experience. I had specifically selected the vehicle that I wanted to reserve. When I got to the store to pick it up I was given whatever can that was "next in line" per the clerk and it was not the one I reserved. Several of the functions online were not necessary but I think that I should be able to select a specific vehicle and would expect to get that one upon arrival. In some circumstances I might be moving a very specific item in which case the exact load capacity is important.IAN A.

Inform customers that the truck must be picked up within 1 hour of the reservation time or it will be re-rented.. My reserved truck was given to someone else when I arrived at 9am today, and I reserved truck from 7am-4pm. Luckily, Kirkland mgr on 85th street still accommodated me, so all is well that ends well.Linda M.

I ordered a hitch and lighting module online for my vehicle. I scheduled a time per the website availability. I got a call from the tech saying he can't do that time because he's "tired of living at work". I asked when a better time would be for him and rescheduled to accommodate. The hitch was installed but the lighting module was not because the one they had didn't work last time he tried and he "wasn't going to waste another two hours trying to figure it out." He refunded my money for the module. When I asked him if the replacement part would cost the same, he said he didn't have time for research it and he'd get back to me later. It seems he's over worked and disgruntled.Ramy M.

Agent was unfriendly. Before leaving, I notice the odometer reading was incorrectly recorded by 50 miles. When I brought it to the agent's attention, he was irritated, dismissive and told me it was my obligation to control that. Never apologize, blamed me. U-Haul should train agents to be courteous and try to avoid having agent's like this onePHILIP S.

This was a great experience overall. The staff was helpful and informative. The truck was clean and maintained. We did have a low traction signal/beeping that happened occasionally on the truck. One thing that would have been helpful is to have a parking area or place to park your personal vehicles when moving locally. Other than that, I was very happy with the service I received.EMILY N.

Very unclear communication about location of tow dolly vs. truck. Associate was rude and unaccommodating. Had to leave my car in Kirkland and drive up to Everett to pick up additional equipment. Called 1-800-UHAUL as instructed to sort out issues and was placed on hold for 40 minutes, then hung up on. Also called a local number and associate was the most unhelpful and unfriendly person I have ever dealt with in customer service. I would not recommend U-HAUL to anybody, period.Sarah G.

The Uhaul rental process online, and the return process were great! The customer service in this location was pretty abysmal and the employees were in seriously grumpy moods. The owner of the location was helpful and pulling out trucks and helping customers but the gents behind the counter were short with everyone, communicated in grunts, and seemed like the slightest thing would set them off. I won't ever rent from uhaul again. It was over $260 dollars for a 7 and 1/2 hour rental and I put less than 100 miles on the U-Haul. What happened to $29.95 a day and .49 cents a mile? I'm so disappointed.Marva S.

I reserved two trucks on the website only to be told later you don't have the trucks. I reserved two smaller trucks over the phone. And I was told I'd have to get them from a further away location. Someone chose to cancel one because they thought it was a duplicate, but didn't call me. That really screwed up my move and cost me a lot more money and time. U-Haul provided the incorrect size truck. I was the on hold with Uhaul customer service for 1 hour and no answer. Stuck in traffic for an extra 4 hours, billed twice, this is a mess.Neil G.
One of the two guys that were helping me to pick up my truck was extremely rude. They didn't have the sofa bag that I had paid for when I made the reservation, and I was complaining to one guy about that, the other guys came in and interrupted me saying "what we have is what we have and you'll be refunded what you paid, end of story!" And when I replied that his tone is aggressive, he said "that's how I am!" The other guy was nice and apologized to me and refunded me the price of the sofa bag.Amr D.

Location was good, staff was friendly and gave very helpful instructions. The boxtruck had glass shards and razors in the box, I still have glass fragments in my fingers, I can't blame too much because these were extremely small, but sweeping or vacuuming would have helped. These boxtrucks in general I wish they had backup cameras, but it wasn't too bad, just not used to a 17'erCarlos O.
I got a call from you guys the day before the move saying you wouldn't have the truck I reserved and could I use a van instead. If I wanted a van I would of reserved a van. Instead I ended up having to drive farther to a different location to get the size of truck I needed. What's the point of making a reservation if you cancel it at the eleventh hour? Have done quite a few rentals at this site - very convenient and usually reasonable. Today's cost was extremely high - seems like gouging. But more aggravating was the demeanor of the representative (a young man) who set up the rental. Despite having input all of the information when the reservation was made, everythng still had to be re-done. The representative was very unfriendly - certainly was NOT customer focused and I don't think could spell "SMILE" much less do so. Very surly and curt as though we were imposing on his job rather than paying his salary. Not a typical employee of this site.Robert K.
