We arrived to a long line to pick up truck, did the online check in but there were no keys in the key box. Had to wait in the line for 25 minutes someone to attend to us when we had already done the online check in as we had chosen at time of reservation. When we were finally able to get someones attention, all she had to do was hand us a key! Over 30 minutes wasted just standing there. If the system is going to be in place as an option, then it should be ready for the customer. The windshield of the truck was covered in bugs and we could barely see out of it. Had to stop immediately to wash the windshield.Daniella H.

I did not have a good experience I needed a trailer for one way which I could not do and I was needed a trailer that was 60" wide the trailer I requested waz 6' wide but the entrance waas only 50" wide which no 1 nowhere did it say anything about that and my truck bawl height was at 25" which is the maximum height But she said it was an inch too tall still for an inch she made me by a $30, 2 and a 1/2 inch drop hitchWhich if 25" is your maximum and that's exactly what my Baul was we put a tape on it yet she still made me by a receiver I was not happyPeter B.

The young woman was very helpful in assisting me with getting out of the truck after I informed her that I had fallen at my last location getting out of the truck and was scared of falling again because the doors are so high off the ground. There should be a steps board built-in the door to help petite disable customes like me get in and out of the truck like me. she was able to print out the settings letting them know I had checked it in.Pauline M.

My u-haul was due to come back today March 28th 2021, at 9:00 a.m.. I got there early and waited outside. I was the 2nd person in line. When it was my turn, Alex I think his name was. Asked me if I was with him, pointing to my husband. I said yes. He said you are good to go. I said I would like a receipt so I can know how much I was being charged. He said, they were short staffed and I had to wait until all the other people behind me was out of the line. I said, I was in line next. He said, he understood that but it would be awhile before he could get to me. I said, I was not waiting for everybody else. Luckily, during this argument another staff member came to work. He said, well now that somebody else is here I can help you. It took him less than 5 minutes to provide me with my receipt. I don't know why he would try to push me behind everybody else, and not help me at the time when I was next. I will never use this location again.SONJA R.

The truck I reserved was not available so I was offered a smaller truck which resulted in having to make multiple trips. This then increased the mileage I had estimated and therefore rhe overall cost to me, the consumer. No adjustment was given or offered for Uhaul mistake. Will not recommend to others.DEENA F.

The agent at the counter almost caused me to walk right back out the door and take my business to Avis. She was nasty, talked to me like I was 10 years old, and treated me like an idiot. It was like night and day when I checked back in. But I still question if we'll be back. Had to go to this place since my reserved trailer was not turned in at original store. Not Lakewood's (or other stores fault). Trailer was in good maintenance except the floor was dirty, muddy and had some broken debris in it. Not bad but also not what I expected.STEVEN S.

The truck rented had been in a wreck from prot pictures, driving this truck os dangerous the steering box is damaged and you have to rotate the steering wheel back and forth to catch it while driving. I received a phone call about the truck and when I was going to return it, I told the lady I would need it gor a couple more hours and she aaid as long as I return before 7pm I wouldn't be charged another day...I returned the truck by 7pm and only drove 5 miles total, yet still was charged another day also charged for insurance again. When asked about the charge was told dont matter what I was told amd didnt seem to care that the truck is dangerous to drive. Sure the heck didnt need the truck as there was a whole bunch all over the lot. Not happy to be told one thing and and another thing happens. Very disappointedRobert A.
