Rental vehicle, was given one for a 3 day and had to return it the next day.... we had vehicle loaded and had to transfer a half loaded truck to another truck in your parking lot....we wasted four hrs of moving time .DANA W.

When you reserve a certain size that you are told is available it would be nice to get said size, we were given a trailer smaller than we needed and were forced to leave items behind moving our son back home.SHAWN I.

My u-haul was due to come back today March 28th 2021, at 9:00 a.m.. I got there early and waited outside. I was the 2nd person in line. When it was my turn, Alex I think his name was. Asked me if I was with him, pointing to my husband. I said yes. He said you are good to go. I said I would like a receipt so I can know how much I was being charged. He said, they were short staffed and I had to wait until all the other people behind me was out of the line. I said, I was in line next. He said, he understood that but it would be awhile before he could get to me. I said, I was not waiting for everybody else. Luckily, during this argument another staff member came to work. He said, well now that somebody else is here I can help you. It took him less than 5 minutes to provide me with my receipt. I don't know why he would try to push me behind everybody else, and not help me at the time when I was next. I will never use this location again.SONJA R.

The truck I reserved was not available so I was offered a smaller truck which resulted in having to make multiple trips. This then increased the mileage I had estimated and therefore rhe overall cost to me, the consumer. No adjustment was given or offered for Uhaul mistake. Will not recommend to others.DEENA F.

The agent at the counter almost caused me to walk right back out the door and take my business to Avis. She was nasty, talked to me like I was 10 years old, and treated me like an idiot. It was like night and day when I checked back in. But I still question if we'll be back. Living on a neighboring island, we'll have need to be renting frequently, but now I'll be seriously looking for a better place for booking our business.RICHARD G.

I had to wait 1 hour after my check in time to leave. They were not friendly and Caucasian lady did Not wear a face mask. Last, they do not have a designated parking area for my car. So I had to park across the street on a busy area and leave my car just at a random place. Was not happy with this experience. I rented this for my buisness and was very disappointed. The truck was awful to drive, extremely bouncy and sounded like it was having engine issues. The customer service was not good, I sat in truck for over 20 minutes (following the sign when I pulled up) and no one came out, then she tried to over charge me.CELINA W.

The service at this location has definitely improved. However, this place is very busy and very understaffed. The trailer we rented had some dirt/debris in it, but staff promptly swept it out for us. Overall, we've been very happy the last 3 visits here.Steven T.

Had to go to this place since my reserved trailer was not turned in at original store. Not Lakewood's (or other stores fault). Trailer was in good maintenance except the floor was dirty, muddy and had some broken debris in it. Not bad but also not what I expected.STEVEN S.
Not noticing til the trailer was already loaded but the welding had snapped on the ramp and made it a little hard to open and close the ramp. I've never had problems before and this was my first problem. Glad I had guys were able to help open and shut the ramp up for me.BRANDI M.

The truck rented had been in a wreck from prot pictures, driving this truck os dangerous the steering box is damaged and you have to rotate the steering wheel back and forth to catch it while driving. I received a phone call about the truck and when I was going to return it, I told the lady I would need it gor a couple more hours and she aaid as long as I return before 7pm I wouldn't be charged another day...I returned the truck by 7pm and only drove 5 miles total, yet still was charged another day also charged for insurance again. When asked about the charge was told dont matter what I was told amd didnt seem to care that the truck is dangerous to drive. Sure the heck didnt need the truck as there was a whole bunch all over the lot. Not happy to be told one thing and and another thing happens. Very disappointedRobert A.

Overall the truck was clean to the eye. When I wiped down everything with disinfectant wipes, the wipes were filthy. That was all. The whole experience and use of the app. Was great. Very friendly service.STEPHEN L.

I made a reservation to pick up the truck a couple weeks prior and did the whole online process to save myself check in time, but still stayed there about twenty minutes trying to get the truck. The first truck she gave us was incorrect and wouldn't open, then she gave us another truck and said the drop off location I chose with my reservation wasn't available and I had to go fifteen minutes further north of my location to drop it off. It was extremely inconvenient and she wasn't friendly. There is also no parking in this location. Uhaul always seems to be disappointing when I move. Will look into another truck company.Grace P.

Honestly I simply wanted a truck and trailer and you would think they would stock these small popular units at there Spanaway location. But no. On top of the inconvenience of having to add 17 miles to Lakewood to aquire what my needs as a customer, because Uhaul doesn't serve its customers to transfer equipment from store to store, I have to pay 79 cents for each extra mile, not once but twice, convenient right, well I get to the location to be told it will take 5 hours to pull a truck from the corner of the parking lot, to be given a 22 hour rental time instead of 24, and charge for fuel, when I returned the rental with more fuel than picked up with, thanks for disappointing experiences repeatedly.DAKOTA G.
Poorly trained staff with poor attitudes. Didn't have the equipment I reserved, and the equipment I was given as a replacement (a smaller truck than what I reserved) it had engine troubles.JEFFREY G.
The gas tank was not full when I picked up the truck and unfortunately I didn't look before I drove off. So, I paid for gas I didn't use as I made sure it was full when I returned. MAKE SURE TO CHACK FUEL GAGE BEFORE DRIVING OFF!!!ROBERT EDWARD B.

Well when you want to upgrade someone let them know two dont upgrade them to a vehicle that had a check engine light on three dont offer compensation such as a vegicle switch for one of your vehicles dying on middle of the freeway when a semi is right behind and it die 3 more times after customer service sucked and am sorry but that compensation was ridicules compared to what damage could have actually been done if we had got into an accident due to faulty vehiclesWilliam J.

Make sure the app works. I couldn't take pictures of my driver's license or pictures of the truck with my phone. I had to go into the store they manually entered it. I have a android phone.JOEL T.
The customer service was great and she helped me to quickly get on the road. However, since the truck was parked tightly between other vehicles and against a fence, I did not open the truck to double check if the dolly and furniture pads I rented were in the truck. And, they were not. Even though I had already paid for them, I didn't learn that I didn't have these useful things until I was already at my storage unit.Nicole H.
