There was only one person working at the counter. I had a 9:00 pickup time and didn't get my truck until 10:45. When I finally got the truck and they opened the back to put the dollies inside, there was a person inside smoking drugs!! I couldn't believe what I saw! The gentleman at the counter was very professional and courteous but the person outside was incredibly rude and has no idea what customer service means. I had originally requested to pickup the truck in Bellflower and was sent to this location in Long Beach, it definitely was not by choice that I went there.Debra D.

Customer service 101, Acknowledge the customer!! I walked in and saw 2 people at the counter as I approached was not sure which person to go to. I was given a location that added multiple miles to my travel. Pick up location was in California and the Fuel level was only 1/2 full which instead of filling up after traveling, I was forced to fill up at California gas rates (costing me + $60.00 due to Cali gas prices)Thomas D.

I was called by this place to return the truck even though I wasn't completed my job. The return was requested according to them was the another customer was waiting to rent the truck I was using. I rashes back to this place even though I wasn't done and was going to request another truck rental. When I got there, I found out that there were no customer waiting. I was told that they called to tell me that because they wanted to save me from additional charges. I was also told that the gas was almost empty; however, when I rented, the truck gas was already almost empty. We only drove approx 12 miles. After I asked them that I needed the truck to finish my job. They rented me the same truck that I was told that another customer waiting. And again, only one hour later, they called me and asked me to bring the truck because the customer there waiting for my truck to return. This whole experience with this office was nothing but stressful constantly asking my truck to return when I was running late. And I was told about to pay extra gas because it was almost empty which it was almost empty when I rented out. They insisted it was 3/4 of tank. It was my fault that I didn't take pictures of the gas gage. And they charged for the rate of estimated mileage which I used less than my estimate. I will never come to this place again and will never recommend it. Very unprofessional.Nobumi S.

As for the trucks at this location they need to be worked on before taking them on the road the one I rented had multiple issues while on the fwy but staff didn't even accommodate me atol even knowing the truck had issuesAUNJAHNAE B.

The location was fine, but I ended up returning a trailer that I didn't end up needing. That was INCREDIBLY difficult. It took an hour. Nothing against the staff, they tried really hard, but UHaul made this unnecessarily difficult.Weston S.

This was the worst location. It took over an hour to get the hauler. 3 different people backing up the truck to a trailer that could be moved by hand. Then once connected they didn't do a complete light check I had light out on The trailer. He told me it was ok not a problem. I was traveling over 1000 miles it was a problem. He reluctantly fixed it.. they never showed me how to to load the car. One if the guys who seemed to know more about the process was in a hurry to leave. I'm thankful I won't ever have to deal with them and will NOT recommend that location.tandra J.

The lady that helped me out with my reservation was very nice and helpfull. However the man that was working with her, a chubby hispanic guy, was very unprofessional and lazy. He made the visit sooo inconvenient that i will not return. He gave me trouble about returning a single box. That is ridiculous. He wasnt the only unprofessional one, they also shut all the lights off 30 minutes before closing so people will think they are closed and dont go in to buy something. This is costing Uhaul to lose sales and i dont think this was the first time they have done this.Squally H.
