Unfortunately, this pretty lady does not need any improvement. She explained everything so well, it seemed like she owned the shop and made all the rules. I was very impressed. The 2 black guys are a big embarrassment and one of them was drunk with fresh alcohol smelling directly from his mouth. They both were ordering me to get out of his face when I had the right to look at my odometer and gas level. In trying to double team me, they lost because other clients were calling out the drunken ness on this older guy and there was a female manager on duty who actually so that no paying client should be spoken to like that. The black guys didn't even know how to reconcile fuel credits until she taught the one guy who want drunk how to do fuel credits to the client. U-Haul needs to do itself a favor by promoting outstanding staff like that lady, and replacing these illiterate drunks who pose as ur workers, yet they are full of their childhood problems and that's why they drink like that to erase their ramshackled upbringing. Just get yourselves some dynamic workers for the first time and make drastic changes without being so scared like that to gentrify your hoodrat workforce â€¼ï¸John J.
Leave the lights on so we can see! There was only a security light that would come one for a few minutes when movement was detected and then it would turn off. ALSO, this location is NOT the location I selected when I made the initial reservation. When I arrived a the place I selected and started the return process, that's when I discovered that the drop off location had been changed. I was very irritated.jonathan E.

I would only recommend for convenience. I rented an Uhaul on 8/21 which is a Saturday. I called to return vehicle after time given to return vehivle and I was pleased and grateful to beable to do so free of charge. On 8/22 I received a call in the morning at around 10am and another call at about 1:30 pm being accused of not returning the the keys to the van. I asked store clerk if I should come up to show where I placed the keys? The store clerk insisted that I did not have to come up. I requested for them to check the camera to see that I returned the keys to the van and what slot I put the keys in. The clerk stated that he will pass my ticket over to the store manager to let him handle this issue. So now 1 day goes pass without the use of the van all because the store clerk felt as if I misplaced the keys or didn't return them. I get a call from the store manager 8/23 which was Monday the next day and he insinuated what the store clerk stated to me which was did I still have the van keys due to a note that the store clerk wrote to the manager. Instead of the manager asking me where did I place the keys to the van? I explained which box I dropped the keys and the manager knew exactly the box that I placed the keys. All of this could have been avoided if the gentleman was listening to what box I stated that I dropped keys. Bad experience because I was worried that someone misplaced the keys and I would be charged. And if there was a sign that says drop box was there or big enough for the customers to see. I may have missed it because I was exhausted that night from all that moving but I didn't see the drop box and mistakenly dropped it in the trash box on the same side with the drop box. You shouldn't accuse anyone of not doing if you don't have proof that states otherwise.Janice F.

I received exceptional customer service. I had the truck for four hours max from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and was charged a $20.00 fee. I don't agree with this fee and will be challenging it. Thank you.Carmelita W.

It's always something with this company. No matter the location in MD (Central Avenue, Suitland, or Allentown Rd) there is always a fee added without your knowledge; there is no walk around inspection or pics taken prior to departing, mileage on contract never matches mileage on vehicle; there are late fees for arrivals without them checking cameras to see when you actually returned the vehicle; and lastly, your web link doesn't work when returning vehicles. Also you are told that most dealers do not charge however we charge....for this and that. Complete fraud. Everytime I use Uhaul I find myself having to go back in to address an issue. And when you do, a refund is granted. Why is that. It should have never happened in the first place.LORENZO C.

The van's left turn signal was not working, which I found out after driving for 30 minutes. It also apparently needed an oil change. I brought the van back with an 8th of a tank more than I got it with and was hot with a fuel charge. The service at the front desk was prompt, but the vehicle I was given was a mess.RAULG JR H.

I have been disappointed with U-Haul overall after my experience with the Uboxes. I was under the assumption that U-Haul would follow through with the order and deliver the loaded boxes to my house when we arrived to Alexandria, VA. Logically speaking, why would U-haul deliver empty boxes to your house at your initial location and then expect you to be able to move the boxes yourself at your destination? Either way, i was treated with respect and patience at the Marlow Heights U-Haul location and they were quick and accommodating in getting me what I needed to move the boxes to my house.THOMAS C.

I used the mobile check in to do my rental as i have at several UHaul locations. I parked my car and returned 4 hours later only to be greeted with my vehicle towed at a $175 cost. It would have taken the associates 3 seconds to advise that there is no towing on the property. Ironically there were signs now taped to the door stating no parking. Thanks guys.Andre R.
