I I'm sure I was over charged by o e's 50 miles on my billing. I have not had a enough time to go out and reputed yet. I set the trip METER before leaving and ended with 95 miles.and was charged for over 150 miles. Would have caught.it soon6 I had done an auto check out. Unacceptable. I ha e used this location for years never had a.problem before and have always recommended you. Jury's out now.

It was my first time at this location and I was upset that the lady was working all by herself. It was busy and we were delayed for a half hour because she tried to check everyone out properly that she mixed up the truck rental for us and we had wait for a while until she fixed it. In addition, to all of that the seat belt was broken in one of the trucks she switch to. Her service was good considering her working alone that day.

The 24/7 pickup did not work. The evening before my move, my reservation -- which had been made months in advance -- was moved from a location walking distance from my house to one a 20 minute drive away. I do not have a car. At the location, the truck was not ready for 24/7 pickup, which caused me to need to wait until the office opened, which had a cascade effect on the reservations I had with my movers, my old apartment building's elevator reservation, and my new apartment's elevator reservation. Additionally, the dollies that I had reserved were not available at the location I was moved to at the last minute. Every time I called customer service, I found out about a new problem from the U-Haul side about why my reservation, made months previously and upon which all of my other reservations were based, could not be honored. Horrible experience, will never use U-haul again. This location was just below average, not awful, but the U-haul experience in general -- especially moving me from a place walking distance from my house to one many miles away THE DAY BEFORE MY MOVE and then NOT PUTTING THE KEYS IN THE 24/7 PICKUP BOX were inexcusable and added tremendous stress to an already stressful event.

The people who work for the location needs to clean out the trucks before giving it to another renter because my ride was not the best because the truck smelled of marijuana from the previous renter and for myself, i do not smoke

The employees are VERY rude including the general manager. My van remained uncheck for over 5 hours due to lack of communication between employees. I would never recommend this location to anyone.

My vehicle was towed from the location. My first complaint is in regard to the online reservation system. It was no faster to use and only mixed things up for the employees after i had completed all the initial checks to get the truck. I was supposed to have three hours with the truck, but only got 2.5 due to the delays. I came back in two hours because I didn’t have enough time to finish my move. My car was gone. The employees and manager claimed that there is no cutomet parking. I told them that I didn’t see anything regarding no customer parking. The two signs they referred me to said nothing about customers inability to park in their lot. The sign in the parking lot merely says “unauthorized vehicles will be towed” and the letter sized paper on the store’s back wall says vehicles left in the lot will be towed. The parking lot sign did not describe what constituted an “unauthorized vehicle” but to most people, that would mean non-customers, so I did not think that applied to me since I was spending money there and my car is in Uhaul’s system. The letter sized document was no visible or prominently placed to alert those parking. There is so much on the wall that it is very unreasonable to expect customers to read it as they’re rushing in and out. In addition to that, the small sign did not explain when and how vehicles get towed either and when I did read it, I still did not have the impression that short term parking is included in that because people short term park all the time. I would think it applied to overnight parking, rather than 2-3 hours. I cannot describe how disappointed I was to have this happen and at such a difficult time for me on top of that. I will fax documentation to the legal department regarding my experience. $175 for the tow, $49 for the rental. It’s sickening to think about. A phone call or adequate notice could’ve prevented this.

I rented a 10' on May 28, returned it on May 28, clean and with the same amount of gas, and was charged $123. On May 31, I see a $63.45 charge to my Visa Debit that WAS NOT AUTHORIZED. I have been calling that location on St. Barnabas Road, Suitland, MD since 10:30 this morning and nobody is pick up the phone. I have alerted my bank that the charge was NOT authorized. I will never rent from that Uhaul again and I WILL NOT recommend them to others.
