STEPHEN KWant to say booking was easy, truck ready when I picked up. NOW the truck i received had over 160k for my trip of 550 miles that was the first bit of stress, asked if it would make it and was assured it would and it did make it, the truck itself was clean and thats the only thing it had going, started my trip around 500am filled up with gas and that's when things started going wrong the truck steering was very loose kept under 60 mph truck was okay, alittle play in steering, anytime I tried to go over 60 mph, truck was all over the place it was nerve racking only about 1 hour into trip, settled into keeping it under 60 mph, few hours into trip filled up again noticed truck all over the place again didn't figure it out until the third fill up but for some reason the extra weight effected the driving .can honestly say my 10 hr trip turned into 13 hours, stressed out due to thinking either a breakdown was coming or i was not going to be able to control the truck for long, i have 25 years driving trucks hands down worst experience ever driving, when large trucks would pass me it was always slow to 50 and hold on, I think that truck should be taken off the road until extensive repairs are made to front end ,you do what you want, but someone can get hurt someday driving that terrible experience

Sean MI have rented trucks and vans multiple times from this location. I am very disappointed I was charged $18.00 for a gasoline charge despite I filled the truck to the limit the tank woukd take. In fact, the gasoline spilled out at the fill station as the tank was full. I am requesting the $18.09 be refunded respectfully. I have photos that show the gas tank meter floating between full and slightly full. Lastly, I have returned prior rentals full with gasoline when the rented vehicles were not full when I picked up the vehicle from the Middletown IHaul Store.

Robert GLet me just say that first I reserved this vehicle on the app. When I got to the facility to pick it up I had to wait even thou i had performed the pre check-in on the app. I was told by Daniel Scalero that the vehicle had a little less then a 1/4 of a tank, it actually had an 1/8 of a tank. I drove the vehicle 7.92 miles and was charge 9 dollars for five gallons of gas. REALLY!! WHAT A SCAM!!! According to Daniel Scalero when you rent a 10' truck your required to pay for the gas they or other people use. I only reserved this for six hours can't believe the truck gets that bad of gas milage. And no I didn't leave the truck running for that time. All I can say is customers be wear!!! Will go to home depot to rent next time .

THOMAS TThe trailer had a little damage to the neck as though a previous customer had jack-knifed it and jammed it. This caused some concerning vibration during transit. We pointed this out to the customer service rep upon return. Perhaps the equipment could undergo closer inspection before the next customer has the same unpleasant experience while transporting precious cargo such as an expensive motorcycle.

ROBERT KHer name started with a K and she worked the closing shift yesterday . But first wanted to start off with I made an apt for ocean to pick up a van . Got there 15 min early and only one worker sans she was taking care of a customer . By the time she got to me she notified me that someone should've called me to say that the van was no longer available .. would've been nice to know that while I was sitting there for 30 mins. So off to middle town I went and K got me in and out and was great customer service and made my whole ordeal great! Give her a promotion or a raise she deserves it. !!

STANLEY PThe day before my reservation I received a voicemail indicating might not have a trailer the next day at the locations of the reservation, and that I would receive a call from dispatch in the evening regarding the status and location of my rental. An hour later I received a text telling me my reservation was on target at the proper location and never received a call from dispatch. In the end the reservation worked out exactly as planned, and both delivering location Middletown and receiving location Manahawkin were friendly and expedient.
