JOHN PI rented a trailer from one location and U-Haul was notified that the location could not accommodate my request. I didn't find out until I showed up to to the U-Haul location and it took U-Haul via phone about 30 minutes to find a location across town that could accommodate my rental reservation. The individual that hooked up my U-Haul car hauler wrapped the excess trailer light harness around the hydraulic surge brake linkage. During a sudden stop to avoid an accident at freeway speeds the surge brake activated and severed the three out of four wires in the harness, which I then had to splice back together to complete my journey.

BRUCE SI’ve gotten trailers from this locations two other times this year with no issues. This unit that I got was dirty inside. It had not been swept or cleaned out from the previous user. They made me clean it out. The outside of the unit was also filthy. It was just not a good experience at all. this time. I only share this experience because if you don’t know, it’s broken you can’t fix it.

Following a short discussion of what I intended to do with the equipment, the clerk suggested a different approach and method that would actually save me time and effort. His suggestion was also a safer way to do the job. Checking the equipment back in was also a very smooth process. I would definitely recommend this location and will use them again when we need similar equipment.

PAIGE TUHaul sucks! They screwed up my reservation where I reserved a10' truck and trailer for a one-way drop. I picked up the truck on one day to load it I came back the next day to get the auto transport trailer put on and put the car on the transport, only to be told that my reservation didn't actually have the transport on it although they took the reservation for the vehicle but didn't complete the reservation authorizing the transport. It took another hour and a half and the manager of the store to call the regional office to authorize the transport. After the trailer was hitched to the truck and the car was loaded on the transport, all the tires on the trailer were low and had to be filled. The truck itself was in fair condition although dirty, gas cap was broken, and one of the windshield wipers fell off when I was cleaning the windshield because it was dirty. In the past I've used U-Haul many times but this was absolutely the worst experience that I've had. Further, after having gone to two neighborhood U-Haul drop off places both of which were below par if not disgusting, I wound up taking the transport and the truck back to the actual dealer. And all, just a very unsatisfying experience.

SUSAN SThe employee sent me a message to upload my driver's license. The app did not allow me to get to the 2nd picture. I had to ask them to do it for me and they looked reluctant. Did not seem the most helpful. Time wasted by me trying to do it when they could of done it would of been more efficient. Then when they hooked up the car dolly I noticed the emergency brake connector was missing a rubber retainer. I requested one and told I did not need it. After asking again they gave it. Then noticed the chains that secure the towed car on the dolly were missing retainers as well. He also said I did not need them & did not offer to provide them. I pointed out that the other Dolly's had them. He then allowed me to take them from the other dolly. I found one on the ground and told him. Should not ask for retainers that are a safety mechanism.
