Not happy with the end result. I was charged 40.doklat extra for 1 dsy when i just uses 1 hour after the suppsed due time. I rent form u haul almist 3 times a month and i dint feel i was supposed to get chardeg 40 extra dollars when i didnt use the truck for an extra day as you said. Very dissapointed with this issue. I guess i u haul dont rate or consider usual customers.

Trucks are dirty and sticky. Smells bad . the rear view mirror on the passenger side was broken . if i was by myself i could have gotten into a car crash , i couldn't see if a car was near my right side or not. Also it was hard for the key to turn , so i had to keep fighting with it. Bad experience. Twice in 1 week , With 2 different vehicle.

The manager Nicole is not following company policy for optional insurance but requires it for all trucks and vans. I booked online and spent an hour at this location getting a truck because I had to call corporate. The back of the truck was not swept out and I tried 3 times to use the app to upload pictures, but every time it failed so I had to get checked out manually. Both the female and male attendants were nice and remained calm, as I got more and more agitated. I was informed that they did want to lose their job which they were told would happen the last time they let someone rent a truck/van without insurance. I contacted Uhaul and they let me contact a service manager that validated that the location should not be going against Uhaul policy. I got the insurance, but the whole process was horrible. It took an hour and I was mad on the principle that I have had the very same uhaul customer experience at every location in my life except for this one, where I was treated like a criminal because of recent thefts in that location. I was told by the service manager that she would send an email up the chain about my experience; she was very understanding, patient and helpful. I hope someone reaches out to me about this so I know this message was received. I am seriously upset.

AC did not work properly. Truck was old and difficult to steer. Check engine light was on the entire time.

The trailer that we received had a faulty closing latch that popped open on I-95 while driving, despite having locked the door with a lock purchased from U-Haul. The door then jammed open because of the lock and we were lucky to have got it closed again after over an hour. Roadside assistance never came.

Call when you find their Sunpass. We left a sunpass in the truck and called about it. The truck had gone out again - someone was supposed to contact the next renter and call me back to let me know whether they had found it.

EXTREMELY slow service. Manager rented a package to me I didn’t ask for and I was overcharged. I called and asked for Refund back and he declined.

You had only one associate working at that location. It took me an hour to return the equipment. He did the best he could but a staff of 1 is simply insufficient.

“Would tell people to look at their receipt before departure. “ Had appointment for 9am, stated when placing appoint of use for approximately 5 hrs. In the end I did use for 5hrs, picked up approximately 9:15am. When I picked up the gas was a 8th of a tank low and had the employee confirm and noted and initialed. TB When I returned at 2:15pm after I put $10 gas and was over the needle marked when I initially picked up. I went inside and offered my receipt employee stated no need. When I was handed receipt upon inspection I asked all ok stated yes and I left. Looked at my receipt this morning what a surprise charged 2 days rental and 2-days Insurance and $6.00 gas. I don’t care about the gas fee that was my mistake should have mentioned upon return but was exhausted and rushing to get to a family gathering. I brought the van back five hours but I brought back 15 minutes after I should’ve due to my late arrival when I picked it up but $30.99 additional in fee’s is just wrong. Can’t call understaffed and always placed on hold. If it’s $19.99 a day and I kept 5 hrs doesn’t feel fair charged another full day for both rental and Insurance. Will go back to the 163 St store in the future never had issues there. They also take a picture of the front and backs of license and then a picture of you from the employees phone but then place all credit card information by typing manually. I asked due to really not secure. They say there is always a problem with the chip reader or the slide even.

The staff is far from being helpful they if ignored you when there, they don’t greet and they eat in front of clients awful store and truck was so dirty I couldn’t believe it . To close the way the woman talk to clients when parking is so disrespectful I am shock as who hired her? Where education went?

I returned my truck at 9am and your store was close!? It opened almost at 9:15am and I ended up being late for work due to this. Uhaul company threatens their customers they will charge them an arm and a leg if we return our rental pass 10mins yet this is what you do? I think you should refund me some money for my rental.

There was only one employee and although I was checked out in 20 minutes, I find that the early morning time a lot of people come in to get rentals so more employees should be there.

I waited 30 minutes to return a truck when there were 3 representatives working. When I finally got help the representative that came to help me had a cigarette in his hands and blowing smoke everywhere and in the truck.

Your staff is not helpful. And nothing there moves at a normal pace. I was charged an extra fee and the man who signed me out was rude when I asked about it. The place is also dirty and gross and the staff eats at the counter with customers standing there. I will never go back to your location again.

The day of day I picked up the truck the male person who helped me was great. However, there was a young lady there having her lunch at the counter that was quite rude and her demeanor didn't seem customer friendly. Frankly, I feel that if you are going to be rude, it's best to keep your comments and nonverbal communication to yourself. I find that having your lunch at the service counter is inappropriate for an employee. The receiving young lady at return day was quite nice and customer oriented. I won't let this experience keep me from returning, but I needed to make you aware of this incident. Thank you for the opportunity to opine.

When I got the truck there were no x’s on any of the damages but when I brought the truck back Nicole Charges my card for damages which was already on the truck now they put x’s when I brought the truck back they need practice north Miami Beach way that’s where I’m going from now on

The truck was really dirty and with literally no gas when I realized I rushed to the near gas station - you can’t rent a truck on E ???? The guys at the office don’t k know how to work the computer? after waiting about 30 min to rent my truck I decided to do it on the app because they were not capable to do it while me sitting there CRAZY

Kitron, the rep at the location provided the best customer service I have experienced in a long time. He was friendly and sensed that I was stressed . He was kind and showed me all I needed to know. He made the process easy for me and would strongly recommend this location for uhaul van rental in the future.

The manager at the location is excellent. yesterday when I returned the equipment there was an associate with attitude and trying hard to get more money out of me. I know they are doing their job, but there is not good for the business when associates have that kind of behavior. Overall good experience and the manager was helpful, polite, and she knows how to treat people and makes the customer valuable.

Pickup: proper check of the truck wasn't initiated by staff, and my company had to point out a dent on truck for staff to note and mark it. I fear that I would've been held responsible otherwise upon dropoff. Dropoff: tank wouldn't fill properly; first staff member (Jean) proceeded to handle issue, but second staff member (Tamika) insisted to check for herself, didn't believe me or company, and refused to verify that there was issue with the tank. Jean then agreed to check issue at (a different) gas station pump, where he experienced the same situation, which was also documented by company and witnessed by another person present. Upon return to UHaul center, I asked Jean about the gas; he refused to address it, but only said that his coworker (Tamika) will continue to process the return. Tamika persisted with attitude, continued to engage us rudely, but also didn't address gas until company and I inquired about it again--to which she finally said that there will be no charge for. Once everything was confirmed, her last name was requested and she refused to give. The experience was exhausting, time consuming, and discouraging. To improve for the next customer: (provide training to) develop, then maintain, quality customer service first and foremost; and ensure that all rented vehicles function and are inspected properly. I got there at 0800 am while I was waiting the guy served 4 person in front of me all he keep on saying I’ll be right with you. Finally after waiting patiently it was my turn as he is serving me he was checking somebody else when I voice my displeasure his answer was he is buying a tape I told him this is disrespectful as I’ve been waiting patiently after you serve four people in front of me he told me “ don’t bring your negativity here I don’t know if it’s a black persons or a Haitian thang if you can’t wait you’re welcome to go somewhere else “ and when he gave me the key I wanted to inspect the car he told me I don’t have time for this I have people waiting. This is not the first time I used this company but I can tell you that is going to be the last time. The guy is so rude he should be working somewhere he has no contact with human or animals.

Waited almost an hour to get my truck because the store was poorly staffed. The gentlemen were working diligently but there just wasn’t enough people to take care of all the guests. I don’t usually complain as I am a patient person but I don’t think it’s fair to the staff that was there to be so short staffed. Management needs to look at labor model or find a better way to cope with callouts. Again, staff handled it graciously but there was a lot of tension with people waiting an hour to get to front of line.
