The gas was below the mark and when I told the person they said to do it online and when I did it to the link on my phone the link told me something negative. When I arrived I told the person and they said there's nothing they can do people tell him that all the time. He said I was going to be charged 4 their mistake for not accurately checking in the truck and I had to pay this sucks I feel like I got ripped off by U-HaulEVERALD M.

The customer service if the worse. They don't value their customers. The manger is worse then his staff. The not professional at all. My reason being on 2 different incident I have had problems with them. Last month I waited in the store over an hour in a half. The manager Jean gave me a hard time. About the cover when other people after me wasn't be ask did they wanted cover by another staff member. On this Saturday 4-3-21 . I was never at did I wanted cover after returning the van. I notices I had been charged. I tried to resolve the matter in the store. I got no help. Also before I arrive I got a text agreement. With the van was turn in at 9:00 am that I use 200 miles & and 1.extra day. And stated the van had to be return back . On my contract it stated half full. . Also the had charge my card when the van had not been turn in. After calling customer service 3x . One staff member reach out to the manager Gene he stated he would ask his staff did he offer me cover. That's would be the only way he would remove the cover. My response was you think he going to admit his errors. Also no one could tell me who had check the van in that morning. When I bring the van back about 1:45 which it wasn't due until 5:30. But on my 3rd attempt. Mr Kevin Prevatt from E-Customer Service was very professional doing his job. He listen to my concerns and resolve my issues. He value me as a customer. Staff does not go out to check mileage and gas. They tell you to take picture in the app and then at return tell you that the picture was not accepted, but the pictures are loaded in the app. I will be contacting store manager and corporate. This is unacceptable every vehicle mileage and gas is checked when returned. There is no way they know the exact amount of gas and not mileage.cheating customersCharles T.

This location is extremely lazy. I was overcharged because they didn't want to log the truck in in. So I was hit with a $20 dollar late. Stating I came back the next day which was false. Im still waiting on my refund for late charges and a dolly I didnt use.Victoria S.
When I got my truck the gas and the mileage was not Correct. Thankfully with the help of Ms. Yanira Thomas I was able to take a picture using the uhaul app which showed that the mileage was incorrect and the the gas tank was not on full but just a bit over the halfway mark. Unfortunately upon return the changes were not uploaded to the uhaul app and also I was not able to retrieve the photos because the app will not let back in to see the photos due to app not letting me back to review. At this point the â€œmanager and employees â€œ were not helpful at all and very unprofessional which at this point I had to contact costumer service name Mike which by the way was very helpful and professional to try and fix the incorrect information for the gas and mileage. The manager did not want to hear Mike or help with the correction which at this point 2 hours have gone by and at the end he OVERCHARGED ME WITH A BILL 176.76 which should have been no more than 80 to 90 dollars for service rendered. I WILL NOT RECOMMENDED TGIS UHAUL TO ANYONE AT ANY TIME NOT EVEN FREE!! Pending claim for CORRECTION!!javier S.

They give me a hard time they would not take my Apple master credit card I had to call Corpratr 3 times on them I was getting wet when I was driving it the key don't work in the driver side door very bad experience very bad iam sad as I was driving the u hall box truck on Sunday it was raining the rain water was coming in from the roof wetting me my wife and my grand baby why would u hall rent a vehicle in that state of mind also I had to enter the box truck from the passenger side door every time when it was lock be of the keys not working in the driver side door and also when I put the keys in the ignition it don't work unless you play whit the keys for a long period of time to get it to turn to start up if this was in a white Nabor hood we would never have this problem the next time that I have to rent a u hall I am going to a white Naber hood my credit score is above 823 and I didn't have to go through wat I went through with my family I also call Apple credit card while I was there on speaker phone to let the u hall people know that it was a real Apple credit card and still the manager tell him employee that they cannot take my Apple credit card because it looks like a gift card I asked them to swipe my Apple credit card more then 7 times and they just give me a hard time after going back and forth with them for over 30 minutes I called Corporate and they rent the u hall box truck for me with me using the same Apple credit card that they say that can't take very Sad some one need to get fired because of this I also have pictures and videos that iam going to Email to corporate my Doughtor work for u hall some one needs to contact me about this matter I have been renting from u hall for over 25 years and never had a problem until now my phone number is 954-559-9932 SeanSEAN D.

Be CLEAR about how to return a vehicle. REPEAT it multiple times and ask the client if they understand that how ya should do it. I was charged fees for following the Uhaul agent instructions. "I Called " Uhaul, HE gave me the address to drop off location and told me to put the key in the drop box. Then when i got there to pick up my deposit they told me i was getting 14.00 and immediately i said oh no um not, it's suppose to be100. after waiting for all of a hour for resolution through multiple phone conversations bout MY money i only got 78.00 and some change of my deposit back. I feel like Uhaul ripped me off. I called them at Uhaul and ask about a night time drop off cuz i couldn't keep truck because they would've towed their truck. I was given a drop off location address and told it was 4 miles from my location and to put the key in box which i did, and we left. The rep never told me you have to call back. So it's a excuse for them to take people money. Then they talking bout sending me a check once they review the situation. I didn't pay for the truck in a check. Beware people call back just to cover your backside, Um pissed. I had to work and save my money to cover my move, and for them NOT to give me a full refund sucks. The truck was there for 2 days parked and they had the key. Um disabled and i was in tremendous pain. I had no choice but to get some rest. Tisk tisk tisk, Bad Uhaul. I want my money back in CASH just like i gave it to them.verndina W.

The store manager called me a liar and said that the agreement that I entered into over the phone with uhaul did not exist and charged me $300+ more than what I was quoted. I have already contacted customer service and if they cannot fix the issue, I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company. The main issue was that no receipt was sent from my phone conversation to back up my claim. But the store manager should not have called me a liar and been very rude upon returning the vehicle.Casey F.

Trucks are very old and sound like Tanks. I would rent elsewhere but they were sold out of their trucks. Pricing of mileage was way more than I have every paid for the same sizes truck from Budget or Penske. I have rented 4 trucks in the last two months and only the pickups were new or on the newer sided. Really need to invest in new trucks and not keep them in service for so long.Kevin B.
I needed to rent a truck for less than 1 HR. My total mileage was less than 6 . I had reserved the truck, and opted out of the insurance. When I arrived, they would not let me rent the truck unless I took a $20/day insurance policy. That was not in the reservation that I made online. I feel duped. If the insurance is mandatory, then you cannot advertise a $29/day rate, when it is impossible to rent the vehicle for only $29/day. I want to be credited for the $20 insurance.David S.

My original reservation was for a different location (one much closer to my home) and wasn't notified that U-Haul had changed my location based upon vehicle type. Apparently the location near me doesn't have pick-up trucks. The staff said I should have been notified, but I wasn't. This resulted in me walking 3 miles down the road since my neighbor had already dropped me off and went back home. This has noting to do with the crew at either location.Robert B.

get new trucks. I had an issue leaving Boynton Beach. the gas cap was broken wouldn't come off. I had to get the cap off by any means. Drove back to Miami with the vehicle running at 50%. Made it to Miami at just before 5am. Not a good experience. AlexAlexander D.
