I was sent there by one of your locations in Baytown TX.. That location was the only one near that had a 5x8 enclosed trailer. I asked if I may return it to a Baytown location? His reply was "Yeah, we will charge you $250.00". I was in the process of moving my Father-in-law into our house, he is diagnosed with Alzheimer's. We needed to move his things to our house south of Livingston, Texas! This was a major inconvenience, but I did it to say my Father-in-law the $250.00. I have been a customer for over 10 years are more and from my last experience i will never use uhual rental again. The customer service at the I-10 location was the worsted i have ever experience where it put my bank account in over draft because i could not reach anyone at that location to discuss updates on my rental. Uhaul let me reserve to boxes but only had one available at the location. They didn't tell me the location was an hour away. U haul was awful and would not help me find another box just told me to keep calling new locations. The movers Carter Moving was outstanding and really help me out to get at least one box to move so.ething into. I WILL NOT USE U-HAUL AGAIN. I WILL USE CARTER MOVING IF I WVER NEED MOVERS AGAIN .Keith B.

The Truck Have Cigarette Ashes in the ash tray I noticed that 40 mins later because I'm asthmatic and have allergies, nothing wrong with that, just for the next costumer be sure to take a look of that, and in the grandma's attic one box get wet and damage some clothes.Robinson M.
I rented a 10' box truck and when I picked it up the check engine light was on; after about 10 miles the truck began shaking and wouldn't accelerate. It wouldn't go passed 35 then 30 then 25... waited over 90 mins for roadside assistance and they never showed. Had a mechanic come out passed midnight and had to be charged to fix the truck to get it to the drop off location. I wasn't able to unload my items where it needed to be and instead had the mechanic load it into his truck while I dropped off the rental. Very frustrating. Hope to receive some sort of compensation for this frustrating and ridiculous matter. Very disappointed with uhaul.Stephane C.

Uhaul setup a return 30 miles from my home when only 10 miles away was a capable uhaul store that took the return after I had to call the main call center to get it approved since the contract did not note this store ad a return optionSAMUEL W.

Uhaul could improve on customer experience by making sure everyone having the same knowledge of company policy. I was told one thing on the phone(that I could hold the reservation on my VISA card but pay in cash upon return , when I went to pick up the truck up the guy told me again I would be held on my card but I could pay in cash upon return of the truck. When I got back with the truck some little cocky guy told me I could not pay cash and that you all didn't even accept cash it must be paid with the card that held the reservation. Well I had to leave the location and go put money in that account. All that could have been avoided. It started with the lady on the phone. Just get EVERYBODY on the same pageLERVIE EMANUEL B.

While traveling home, the rear door came open even though it was locked. The door went up to where I could not initially reach it to pull it back down. We sat on the side of the highway for twenty minutes and tried to reach roadside assistance. I would call your roadside assistance a joke but we are not laughing. No one ever answered the phone. We finally were able to reach the general manager from the pick up point and he told me what to do. I was able to close the door and zip-tie it closed. FYI - A long-necked lock allows the door lock to slide too far up the lock to where the whole locking mechanism unlocks..RICHARD W.
